hi, all one of our elder cats is having a biopsy today. Hoping for no malignancy. She had surgery nearly 3 years ago for mammary cancer and now has another area that needs to be checked.

when we adopted our four girls, Duchess, Darla, DeeDee and Dixi, we did so for their lifetimes, not just if it is convenient.
they go to the vet regularly, too, and they are indoors only.
i bet they are gorgeous. are they a particular breed?
all four of them are American shorthairs, and all four are black. I have to check their collars to tell them apart.

If you have enough money here the waiting lines disappear and you probably own a home or can afford to stay in luxury in a large city.
You CAN have better health care than anywhere in the world.. you just have to pay for it up fron each and every time. We just pay through the nose at tax time. that way everyone is covered, even if they have nop job, because, in the end, dead people do not pay taxes;)
Amen! It is a sorry state of affairs here. We have lost the whole idea of The Commons. Hopefully Bernie Sanders can remind people how we used to work together as a people instead of blaming the poor and disadvantaged.
Like you say, the line disapears for some. We get that was well, but to a lesser extent. Siome get addition insurance like Blue cross etc, and suppliment the normal care that the card provides
Which is fair. I like Germany's model. The insurance companies have to provide a level of service and are highly regulated. They compete by holding down their costs and salaries not by cutting care.
Once the powers that be get it into their head that EVERYONE needs health care and gets rid of the "why should I pay for him with my taxes" attitude, things will progress
well there are "some" in this country that believe that health care is not a right but a commodity.
Once again I come back to my point that dead people pay very little tax:)

I like that your kindle will have to be pried from your cold, dead hands, Hego. I have totally worn out my original first gen nook reader, and now have a 2 year old nook HD. So much nicer having the touch screen instead of all those page turn buttons that wear out.
Mine is still going strong.
I also have my asus transformer tablet but it is a tad heavy for long reading sessions
It's old and outdated, but I like that you can read it in bright light.
With my first gen nook, the buttons page turn buttons wore out to the point that i could no longer turn the pages properly

Calibre rocks by the way. I highly recommenced it:)
i turn everything into Epub format unless it has lots of illustrations or graphs, then I set it for pdf.
All that is way over my head. lol I just want to read.
