Hello, Sprite :-)
hey zooz, dear man :)
How are you keeping?
mentally very ok, physically not so much. Overdid a lot of things the last few days. But had a terrific time!
and you?
Well as long as you had a good time i am sure it was worth the aches & pains for a few days.
I am well thanks.
absolutely. No regrets here.
phantom: pheasant
Oh good call!
thanks :)
ugh... that darn son is leaving all the clean-up to me today! We had a bbq with his friends yesterday... lovely evening, I drove one of them home at 3 am this morning... and now he is off to work the whole day!
Oh charming of him..3am!! good grief that is wayyy too early in the morn.
yeah I don't mind the bringing home part. Much rather drive them home than worry about them not coming home in one piece. But am in a lot of pain and now I have to clean up. That is not fun. Darn kid.
Sounds like you are having some nice warm weather then.It is raining here today.
Was it a big affair or was it a small group of people?
here as well. We had luck during the bbq, even some sun and dry till the end. After that, we moved inside cuz it rained cats and dogs.
small group. We were with 7 in total.
That is a nice number of people..not too many to go round and try to converse with. Was it a special occassion or just a general get together?
one brought his acoustic bass and one his ditto guitar, and they played a lot of music, that was awesome. And we did some crazy riddles and had a lot of fun.
Sounds wonderful!
quite the spontaneous affair. Tim and I are home alone this week, Rob and Caya being on holiday canoeing in germany. I suggested it, Tim loved the idea and we arranged it together.
My sister's daughter has just bought a guitar. She is eight years old.So should pick it up quickly. Will be great if she gets into it and plays like a pro.
oh yes, it is a great skill to have. Guitar is easy to bring with you and people always love to sing along.
Oh so you and Tim have had the house for a week! Nice.
it was. He has been great company all week. It was relaxed.
Sounds great, Sprite.Hope he has taken on board the great time he can have when he trys..lol
I think I nice long soak in a hot soapy bath will do your aching body the world of good today as a treat!
yes I hope so too. Also, I realise that it is much easier with just the two of us. He and Rob are fighting more often, and when there is only 2, it is easier planning stuff like food and shopping and cooking and cleaning up... well... except for now.
oh that it would! Wish we had a bath, lol
Well I suppose it is the male dominace thing when going into adulthood that is causing a lot of rift with another male being the father.Tends to cause a lot of friction.
exactly. Lots of old buck young stag shit going on. I must admit I loved the peace in the home this week, lol
dominance*
Has this week had an effect on the dreams you have been having? As in are they better this week or are they the same? or have they got worse?
about the same. Some really tough ones, but also some more quiet nights.
Ah I see...just wondered if the peacefulness of this week might of influenced the dreams you get from past events..like a tigger point when a bad day has been had.
please may i have a clue for the ou8
Hello, Jenny.did not know there was an ou8. But it looks like it is going to be a compound word.
yeah it does. When there is a lot of fights, I dream more often and worse. But things like pain trigger bad dreams too.
hi Jjenny, sorry, don't have it yet
I have it, just trying to think how to clue it
If that is the case you had better take some painkillers for the pain you have now.
thanks zoozzoom, I'll keep looking
not in + a trick
yeah must figure out a regime that will take me through the day and evening. Must eat out tonight as well, so it will be a balancing act. Ugh, darn the boy.
Oh wow that was a twisty one! Thanks , LuvWordGames!
yw zooz
OU8 not in + like the man evel knievel who did all his own tricks.
thanks for the clue. Still working on the trick part.
oh that kind of trick. Thanks!
yeah, that's a better clue zooz
All clues are just as valid, Luv. I got it from your clue :-)
yep, it's a group effort and I always appreciate the clues in chat
finished here, any other clues needed before I take off?
thanks got it at last!
plus, one clue can work perfectly for someone and not at all for another one. It is very personal too.
YaY nice one, Jenny!
wtg Jjenny :)
very true sprite
Lovely dog in yor icon, Luv :-)
thanks zooz, that's Maggie and she's a sweetheart
adorable dog. And thanks, I am fine, LWG, for now. Still a lot of words to go for me.
oh, and wtg on finishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks
Congrats, Luv!
my chat broke for a sec there. Earlier, I said thanks sprite and I'm heading out. Have a good day everyone
have a lovely day, LWG. Yes, that was the hiccup.
Have a great day, LuvWordGames!
Sprite when you say eat out...why not have a meal with your friends and have a good ole natter!
yeah that is the idea. We are invited to a party by some canoe friends of Rob. Dinner and natter and fun. Am going for Rob's sake, and because I missed him lots this week, lol.
Aww but think of when he gets back! Make sure you have stocked up with energy :-)
he will be back this afternoon. We go to the party together.
Excellent always nice to have something to look forward too!
to*
lol... am not expressing myself well. I don't look forward to the party. Just to seeing Rob again and being with him. The company is not really my kinda crowd. Plus it is complicated to eat out with this carbless diet. And with this much pain, which will be worse tonight after cleaning up, I'd rather be home.
there. Done nagging. Thanks for listening, grin.
Oh yes of course you are on the carb-less diet. I too hate crowds of people and having to try and make small talk. I find that so hard to do. I hope it goes quickly for you so you can get Rob home and slip into something more comfortable :-)
now that sounds like a plan :D
you can nag all you like, Sprite. I do not mind :-)
Yeah it is the same for me. I don't do smalltalk very well.
how is the diet going anyway Sprite.has your energy levels back to normal again or are you still feeling sluggish?
Are not has.
it is funny, zooz, it comes and goes. But it feels very different from before. I do get very tired, but it passes more quickly. And I definitely have more energy, more power to bounce back too.
I am glad it is getting better for you.Is the diet working?
a little bit of weight loss, the dietician was very happy. But it does much more than just the weight. Seems like I really don't manage carbs in my food that well. It is like my whole system is detoxing now.
Well as long as you feel better for it.So it sounds like this is a complete diet change for good then!
yes, it is. It will become less strict in time, but not by much. Will be able to eat fruit in future, that I am looking forward too. The rest, I can manage pretty ok.
Excellent! So does this have an effect on the diabetes?
oh yes it does. blood sugar levels are way down.
Brilliant news Sprite!
So that should have a knock on effect..so less trouble with the feet etc
Okay the interrogation is now over.I have no more questions for you :-)
we can hope. But the foot issues stem from long before the diabetes. So I guess it won't matter much.
*giggles* Feel free to ask, anytime, zooz. I don't mind sharing.
how are your parents doing?
yeah they seem to be plodding along nicely, Sprite. Thanks for asking :-)
they are lucky to have such a loving son nearby. Glad they are ok.
Although we are coming to a year since we found out my brother passed away on the 18th of this month. So not sure how mother will be. But at least we will all be around her for that.
that is the most important part. It is really normal to feel the loss extra sharply around that date. It will help you all to be together and just allow the pain to be there, I think. It is a sorrowful thing.
fireflies. Interesting grid.
Well it helps we have his ashes in the parents garden.so we will gather around and say a few words and comfort each other that way.
Congrats, sprite!
aw zooz that is so beautiful
can I help with anything before I go off and start my mountain of chores?
Now go get some rest before your husband gets back. And have a great evening!
I don't have any of the three Us from the bottom row...
No I am okay here still have 56 mor words to find. But i have all day to find them :-)
Hello, Matty :-)
thanks! Have a lovely day, zooz. Hi matty! Two are bones in the arm. One does not fit.
Mornin!
Lazy Saturday morning - still in bed ;)
lovely! Enjoy your lazy time :) *hugs* to you both.
Bye, Sprite.Have a great day :-)
Can't believe I missed the bones
babble blindness strikes again. Happens to all of us, lol. *poof*
There are many words in every grid I can't believe I missed once I hit the list..lol
Good morning.
Hello, sukee :-)
nose nosh
sorry -- some days the enter key just doesn't work... :(
Happens to us all :-)
How are you today, Sukee?
Hi zoo. Doing good, our weather is great these days. Even got some color in my fact yesterday.
And now I see our neighbourhood hot air balloons are out.
How are things with you?
color in my face that is :)
Nice so summer is on its way to you then!
I am well thanks for asking :-)
Yes, it's been in the 30s, but it is going back to normal temperatures next week.
Yeah the Spring/summer cross over always sees big dips and highs in temperatures..lol
Are you happy with election or not so much?
Well to be honest it does not seem to matter who gets in.They all seem to muck it up one way or another.
I must admit to not wanting to be out of the EU though.
True.
We are having our own election this fall.
When is yor next electio?
Oh haha sorry I just saw your post..lol
October.
I'm hoping we get a new Prime Minister
Who is in over there. Conservative, labour, liberals?
He's been there too long, 9 years.
So is it the same here then.every five years?
More or less.
We have the odd ball ones who stand too..like the moster raving looney party..lol
We had the Rhino Party who promised no not keep their promises, they all seem to have disappeared. We just have the 3 major parties, then the Greens, Libertarians and probably Communist.
I'm sad that CURE didn't stand this year - the Campaign for Undead Rights and Equality
Well the Rhino party sound like what all the others do. Not keep their promises..lol
Finally, more than half way. I should go get some breakfast now :)
I think Al murray the comedian stood this time too, Matty.
He did - against Nigel Farage
Enjoy your brekkie, Sukee :-)
Take care
He has resigned along with Ed & Clegg
Yarp. No major surprise there...
No it always seems to be the way it goes.
Can you help with the he7-8 combo?
HE+ two letter word for father + blood sucker
then plural for the HE8
Thank you! So it's not hedavampire...
(Got it)
Sorry the ending is for a face spasm.
lol
I always get the blood sucker and spasm mixed up..lol
I suppose your face might spasm after being bitten by a blood sucker...

hiya flosey
Hi flosey
dan, your little girl is such a sweetie, how old is she now?
just turned 5 yesterday, flosey, thanks!
I blinked, and she's 5
yes, they grow up so quickly
Birthday party today?
next Saturday. cousin's first communion today trumped
Ah, yes, my friend's daughter is having her First Communion and party today. HIgh of 86 so a gloroius day.
we had the grandparents over for cake last night, and the Cleveland grandma on facetime
miss2bit told her grandma yesterday "I tell daddy that I know everything, but there's SOME things I don't know yet"
so sweet
we also got the call yesterday from the county school district that she's accepted to a nearby magnet school for K in the Fall, where she'll have both Spanish and English
wow great to learn a second language so young
good morning dear friends
hi Trif
beautiful day here! so welcome after our long winter. every tree is leafing and blooming, tulips everywhere
Flosey you had a beautiful mother!
Yes, a second language should be taught when kids are very young. They absorb it so quickly.
ty Freckledcat, she was a lovely lady
We can't have tulips here--the deer gobble them up.
the deer used to gobble mine, but I send the menfolk out to pee on the garden - problem solved!
phantom "Naphtha".. well not really, because we all forget that second H. Bummer:( I still have tried it 3 or four times so far:)
Up north we used to plant a second garden far from the first, just for the deer and rabbits. We just filled it full of leaf lettuce. The real garden closest to the house had a fence around it:) It worked...sometimes
*note to self pass on trif's home grown veggies*
my big phantoms today are "pheasant" and "cutlass"
Any parent will tell you that pee washes off, ruru:)
there are no veggies in my tulip garden, ruru
Whew
I can't grow lettuce. something funky with my soil. It just goes straight up, flowers, and never leafs out. v bizarre
Lettuce here just is snail nirvana
Gardens have so many pests to fend off, don't they?
I wonder if gardens get pissed about that?
Haha.
my husband and I don't have green thumbs
Anyone here try a "keyhole" garden? I will be helping a friend with on next week and it seems like the answer where water or wildlife issues are present. Looks like a real interesting, but simple project.
crossy - I have never heard of a keyhole garden
have never heard of one, crossy
a friend of mine's mother suggested I do a raised garden I know what it is but its just not me
the beauty of it, mlf, no bending?
well I am in a wheelchair might be easier to do it siting on the ground of I were to actually do so
here is an example. Think my friend will go two feet higher than this tough..
secondo learned about veggie gardening at college, and is quite keen to try it here. I am looking forward to setting it up with her.

lol, hubby retired to become a farmer
I would love to live on a homestead and be as self-sufficient as possible.
my husband could be a farmer but he doesn't want to be lol
I knew he was a down to earth kind of guy
it is great Scrabs, lovely fresh vegs - and he is, in fact, ru
My da tried retirement "hobby farming," but soon discovered that there is no such thing. A farm ends up owning you.
COnstant labor.
non-stop, scrabby
it is a lot of hard work, but keeps him fit
My parents had a garden years ago veggies, fruit and flowers
kadresa's husband had an amazing garden last year, and he is coaching us. I am really excited about it
What I found most amazing about it all is how cows can find the SMALLEST hole in a fence and take advantage of it. Dad had 100 acres and these cows could find a 2 food gap in the far field in a heartbeat;(
2 foot*
Howdy!
hOWDY, HEGO
sorry caps
no animals here!! had a stray sheep in the front lawn the other day - found it's way home!!
Buon giorno, Hego.
Crossy, how you doing with Mr Mercedes?
Hi Scrabs
Finished it. Was a good read. Gave it 8 out of 10;)
I thought you would like it.
There will be a sequel.
reading an older sci-fi now called "Level 7" by Mordecai Roshwald.
I have heard gppd things about it
good
I am still working on "Pillars of the Earth." I am halfway through.
Long book
Yes. 973 pages.
I thought they'd never get that church built. lol
I like to hunt for older reading treasures that have gone unnoticed by mainstream reviews. level 7 is one of those. it was written in 1959.
i liked that book....hi all...
Hi Penq
pillars, i meant....
Crossy, that was a great era for sci fi.
I love the bigger novels. Most of the ones I have read of late are 300-400 pages, and I end up going through them in 2-3 days tops.
the 50's was an amazing time for sci-fi. All the big names were at the top of their game and the bar was set high indeed for the rest.
me, too.....longer books are always more appealing than shorter ones...
Have you read any Game of Thrones?
I have yet to read GOT
i have the first book on my Mount Bookpile.... ;o)
The imagination is awesome!
have you read GOT, hego?....is that what you are referring to?
Good morning everyone
Mount Bookpile--haha. I have the same mountain here and it continues to grow. Gosh, darn, new books keep being published.
hi Car
I think that I am safe in saying that 90%+ of babblers are bibliophiles
Penq, yes I meant GOT
Scrabs, if they would only stop for a year, maybe we could catch up.
i actually use the library most of the time....pick up a used book now and then....i have this fear that i will be caught without something to read, so i keep adding to Mt. Bookpile...
Nothing to read!! God forbid!
also have a few on my Nook....;o)
Yes, Hego.
I did the math once and depressed myself; Assuming a long, full life, the most we can expect to take off of Mount Bookpile is 10,000 books. That is assuming 2 books of standard size per week:(
I do like having a book pile so I can choose a book depending on my mood.
crossy....that's why i never re-read books!
same here, Scrab....
I am guilty of re-reading some of my favorites
nothing wrong with that
nothing at all.....just something i don't do...
I had a friend who used to do that. Got tons of pristine books for next to nothing from him.
I, on the other hand, have favorites that have been read to tatters
I have re-read some books: The Name of the Rose, The Road Less Traveled, The Untethered Soul.
crossy--I have a chapter in Vol 3 called "Cows Out"--it was always an Occasion. (now back to lurkng, will resist talking abt bks. I do reread tho--our tiny book group, all younger than me--we're rereading books of our childhooed to see what we think of them now.
firewords! fa7 foolish was my last. tx all cluers!
That's a great idea RB
congrats Dan!
congrats, dan!
Congrats!
I may of mentioned this book before, but I will do so again. If you love epic disaster novels I highly recommend "Down To the Sunless Sea" by David Graham. I think it is out of print, and the author has passed on some time ago, but it is a must read in my opinion. Even the blurb on the cover draws you in; "WE COMMEND ALL PASSENGERS AND CREW IN TRANSIT TO THE LOVE AND MERCY OF ALMIGHTY GOD ON THIS DAY OF ARMAGEDDON-- MESSAGE ENDS" and the cover shows a picture of a boeng 727 flying across a sky that seems to be boiling in crimson from the ground up.
Howdy, roundbarn. I am glad you are still pumping out the novels and keeping those fingers limber:)
I think I read that book Crossy.
I enjoyed it several times then gave it to my brother to take back to vegas with him.

hi crossy and everyone, I watch you all. My daughter is here from cal, my art ed and picture guru, she leaves in a few days, been helping a month, on vol 4, the last, then I'll have my life back! right now we're sorting what pix we have on Wis. Farm Progress Days that was held on our farm in 1961
An old dell classic. from their 99 books for 99 cents days
Nice to see you again RB:))

cross ever read the gret classic frm the 50s first of the post atom bomb classics, Canticle for Leibowitz? My br in law recorded it--with diff voices--for NPR
lol@ having your life back. you know darn well that the urge to keep typing will be unbearable. I am sure you will start typing out the next wonderful novel.
I have that novel. RB

yes. I now "own" the letter he sent my br in law answering various questions--he's been a recluse, prob dead now--as to the major question at the end, what about Rachel, he says he doesn't know, either. Thnaks for you hi, Scrbs. I am near you or sorta, in Vt in the summers, but should be selling the camp--
I shall RB. And in that spirit of giving stories I have a treat for any babbler that is truly serious about this: I have a collection from the "Minds Eye" company . it is on 12 cassette tapes, and is a full production with a complete cast of the entire Lord of The Rings. It has full cast as I say and full sound effects. I no longer own a player, but if you are interest, you can contact me privately. All I ask is that you send me the cost of Fed-ex after i send it to you. my email is in my profile.
no cost. Just cost of delivery.
Hi Aloy. I am trying to ID a bird I saw in my friend's backyard last evening. She lives 15 miles north, in a suburb but with many trees, and I saw a cowbird for the first time and another bird I cannot find.
tell me what it looks like Scrabbs..
There was a Baltimore oriole couple too--stunning orange male.
beautiful birdies
Our Piping plovers are back:)) they have already closed the beach for them;)
Tan, reminded me of a purple finch BUT was tan. Sat in feeder for a long time.
Short, cone-shaped bill. Uniform color.
probably a female.. see any similar birds with colors around it?
stripes on breast?
Just a cowbird on a nearby feeder.
No stripes that I recall.
remember what its tail looked like?

I have never seen a cowbird here in the woods. Well, now that my mystery has been solved I am going to load up my back pack with a book and lunc and mountain bike to the park.

hope it is food and not really a lunc
I always wear a helmet! I do not ever want another concussion!

I think I've only seen cowbirds in Oklahoma.. never here in California

A lot of people hate them.. they are nest robbers
bye, penquis.. hagd!
they are kind of striking birds in many ways
think so too
I've only seen the brown and black ones.. I think they do have other colors too
the male brown-headed one is beautiful in the sun.. has lovely colors that have a metallic shine, like the grackle

*guesses Nan isn't big on Country western music*
bingo - right first time!
well.. most country western musicians suck at golf so you're safe
unfortunately the mosly suck at singing as well
not all.. but generally yes
I actually like some C & W
it's the twangy singing through the nose and harsh consonant sounds that turn me off
oh.. sure..that's pretty awful.. I don't care for that either
Patsy Cline could really sing though
since when is the 23rd letter of the hebrew alphabet or a turkish muslim theological student english?
Patsy Cline was a music legend.
is she the one whose hair went down to her ankles?
no
I actually like a lot of her music.. how bout you molly?
Love it. Country music has it's place in music history. It's not all about the classical stuff.
Her life was a little tragic though..
I guess Mozart could have been in a drunk driving wreck if he were in more current times :D
And now it is time for crossy's tidbit of the day!! I think that many of you may enjoy this. it is a shoert story contest. it is due May 18th, but have no fear because you are limited to exactly 10 words. Yup. ten words. Out + to do your own risky trick. T Owl.
In movies the actors sometimes have ***** doubles to do the action scenes.
that is NOT a word. how can you expect me to guess a non word?
It is a photo of spider eyes, Mlf.
LOL
i do not think it is a spider.
Certainly looks like spider eyes to me.
Uh...it's Babble. Plenty of non words. Sometimes I enter stupid things and am relieved to find that they're not in the dictionary. Other times...
T Owl if you google..close up of spider eyes...your icon photo shows up.
time for a change, anyway. and so away.
hi all - thanks for the ou8, my last 8. happy medium reached, over half, nbt, nbs - and I have a bunch of food to set up in case we're having a party... we're not sure... long story. ttfn! :)

Had a friend give me two sweet potatoes each the size of a Nerf football. Gigantic things! So, I am making sweet potato frittes :)
I prepped the two, and they filled an entire baking tray:)
Coated them in cold-pressed virgin olive oil, and at the flip I shall sprinkle them with Old Bay seasoning. Once they are all crispy and on the pate I will apply a dash of fresh ground sea salt;)
I almost never use sweet potatoes in my kitchen, so it will be interesting to see how they turn out;)
And now, in honor of talking to oneself week, it is time for crossy's quote of the day!!
"You define a good flight by negatives: you didn't get hijacked, you didn't crash, you didn't throw up, you weren't late, you weren't nauseated by the food. So you are grateful." -- Paul Theroux
Hello, Crossy :-)
Howdy, Zooz. Hike was cancelled for today so just chillin in Babble;)
That is a shame.Bad weather?
Nope. My beloveds knees are a misery to her today, so we shall bump it to tomorrow.
Sorry to hear that.Hope, Elegant has better knees tomorrow :-)
How are the sweet potatoes?
Just tucking into them now. i found that they cook down to less that half the original volume and needed twice the time to cook vs regular taters. I gave them a bit if zing to offset the sweetness. they are interesting for a change, but not something I would put on the regular menu.
I might give them a higher rating if they were deep-fried.
hehe.. I will let you get on with your meal then chap :-)
Enjoy!
it is ok. I am pecking away at them at the desk anyways.
Time to fill they keyboard with more crumbs;)
LOL..nice!
What's new and exciting in the world of Zooz?
Not too much, Crossy.Plodding along as usual..lol
best we can hope for. That, and to not die in the traces;)
I did go with my sister's boyfriend to get an awning for their caravan. Had to goto the mainland and up to derby which is about 241 miles away from here. And then back again.that is about as exciting it has been this week..lol
241 miles. That is an epic voyage for you blokes over there. Over here, I have gone that far for a decent steak:) I once drove 3 hours for a chance getting the best burger in Muskoka:)
But we are insane;)
Yes you are right, Crossy it is a long way for us..lol but it did turn out to be just over 500 miles altogether in the end. And we did not stop for any breaks. the back of my legs were killing me by the time we got back..lol
The steak was a porterhouse done on the barbie. twas worth it:)
500 miles on a turn-around drive is more than enough.
But remember here on the island it is only eleven mile long and about twenty one miles wide.So journeys by car here are very short lived.I was just not used to it hahaha.
That steak sounds very nice though, Crossy!
Want insane? My father-in-law had a place here on Georgian bay near Midland. He also had a snowbird place in largo Florida. he got in the car, drove for 16!! straight hours, stopped for 5 hours sleep, then finished the trip.
I would need a surgeon to get me out of the car after that!!
Yeah that is pretty mad..LOL
lol
16 hours = two tanks of gas for his van and a total of 180 litres of fuel burned in one go.)
Ha just did a small puzzle on jigidi. The caption is..I have a brain like bermuda triangle.Information goes in, Never to be found again..LOL
Wow that is a lot of fuel!
I should add a new puzzle to Jigidi. Have not done so in a while.
I have done about 50 puzzles today..all small ones though.
I am also doing a 500 piece one which is just of logs..really hard to do!
I have an account on there. feel free to check out some of my puzzles.
I think I tend to stay in the 200-400 piece range
I have done, Crossy.Still waiting for a new one :-)
this grid had gone stale for me. I think I will pop over to jigidi. have some nice pics of our cats that would make a good puzzle. I will let you know when it is placed in my file.
Okey dokie :-)
Crossy, if you're still here, could you post links to your puzzles on jigidi? I love it over there, but haven't found a way to search without paying - I like free :)
Or, post the links in your profile so we can find them any time we want to look?
here is one of my son taken on one of our hikes on the Bruce trail. it is 221 pieces.
http://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=W\nJ7EOA74

How do you create those crossy.

use tinyurl link
there is a tab to insert your own pictures
Ah! Much better link! I've only posted one. But I can't figure out how to search on there. However, now that I have found that puzzle, I can find all of yours.
very nice:))
I have about a dozen in there, so enjoy!
Most are from my own photographs
LOL!!! I love the Babble screen shot! Some of those look like they'll be challenging! Thanks!
That is the famous 744!
A hint for that one...
change the background colour behind the puzzle to something other than white
Kamanjah if you click on the word puzzles and a sub section shoud show..then click on users and put a name of a user in their.then their puzzles should come up.
got that cat one up yet, Crossy?
I like a nice baby blue behind the puzzles
it is coming, zooz.
Teehee!
I never even knew I could change the background color, good to know - and now I know why all those color boxes are there!
I like using baby blue for the bg
Must admit it took me a while to realise that was what the colour boxes were for.
I must have missed the 744 day. Zooz, I don't even see word puzzles link on jigidi - do you have to be a member or something?
lost the kitty pics for now, zozz, but I put in two new nature shots the mrs took.
the new one are titled june 20th and june 30th. Will change the titles later
there we go renamed with something decent.
you have puzzles...help...about...click on the word puzzles..then a sub section will come down..then click on puzzles by users..type in crosshair and return then it should come up with crossy's puzzles.
Okay i see them Crossy.thanks :-)
There we go, all titled properly and attributed.
The tree canopy might be a tough one!
Hmm, when I click on puzzles, I get Most Recent, Bookmarks, Most Recent & Completed. I'm using Firefox - with an ad blocker. I'll turn that off and see what happens.
Was taken on a part of the Bruce that is locally known as Julie's Misery:)
I did find a link to find a specific user, that will be helpful - the type was so small I had previously missed it
I too am using firefox with adblocker on. I signed out and i could still see the options I described.
Can you shine a light on, Kamanjah's problem, Crossy?
Ah okay you found it then..that is good :-)
well, with specific user, we can keep you busy. both sprite and Liz are heavy contributors to Jigidi as well.
I am trying to think of what she is missing.
Okay I am going to give your puzzle a go then, Crossy.
let me know how it plays:)
oopps I have a double in there
I deleted the double. Hope i did not mess you up, zooz
I think I'll start on the lighthouse after I finish up here, thanks!! Oh, good to know about Sprite and Liz. I only have the one - my Springer Spaniel.
hello all....anyone have the na 6/21?
I hope not, Crossy. Well I am still doing it.so it must still be there.
It ends with a facial twitch Pen
added a replacement. Of a icy river in winter
