2.5 week till end of this course and the student are being dropped as fast as the teacher can pound out the blue "drop" forms. Too many of them just fooled around the first three weeks, now, for some, there is no way to catch up and get a passing grade;( They will have to miss grad and try again next year;(
from a class of 33 at the start, we are now around 15 in total :(
It is like watching a car crash in slow motion, of the fifteen I hope to assist the teacher in getting 7 of them a passing grade:( I do not know if it is always this bad in the schools, but it is an eye-opener of just how little the kids learned in their first run through high-school.

Consolidate, sukee. Give the cat meds while you're in the shower. My cat likes to sit between the shower curtain and shower liner while I shower. Very weird.

I can usually just grab his neck and shoot the medicine into his mouth.
I find it most effective to just sneak up on them, grab them by the neck scruff, shove the pill down the throat, then run away.
Luckily, this is liquid medication with a syringe.

Hi everyone. With time differences etc, I'm not sure if you guys know a Babbler called Rubyfoo. Earlier today - Ruby posted that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I've just spoken with her on the phone & she is stoic. More worried about her husband than about herself. Whether it's prayers, good vibes, healing thoughts, lighting candles..... whatever...... our Ruby could do with them right now.
