i can never eat all the fries. i only eat about a 1/4 of the serve.
how are you sweetie?
tired but ok. And caya seems to be a lot better today. A little more movement and a lot less pain.
oh good news !! did you go to the doctor with her?
yes we did, yesterday. She has torn the muscle. Warmth, rest, painstillers and very very gentle massage once the pain is down.
poor kid! {{hugs}} for Caya
yeah it was really shitty. But at least school was supportive, as they always are, and they will find a solution for the two tests she missed.

Hi kids
Hi Scrabs. What hike are you going on today
Not sure yet. We are leaving here so my cousin and I may stop at a state park in NY to kayak. My sister will leave for NJ soon.
Hope you haven't had the rain we had here
It is raining lightly here. We have had some rain everyday but not sustained.
I am not complaining as we had a shortage of rain here in May
back again with breakfast
Hi Annie
Hi Scrabbs, Aiden was added to the list. I hope it gets shorter and shorter with good results.
Very foggy here, sun trying to peek through.
TY, Annie.
It is raining lightly here. We are vacationing in north central PA--in Wellsboro. But leaving later.
Who's taking care of the bunnies? I loved walking thru the Delaware Water Gap in a misty rain.
A dear neighbor is watching the bunnies.
Okay.
She grew up in London, married an American man 26 years ago, and came to the US. She is very kind and sweet.
She sounds like a good bunny-sitter. Youre lucky to have good neighbors.
She wil have surgery sometime this summer so I will have to find a back-up for my next 2 vacations. I am going to the Adirondack Mtns next month and in August.
I need to start packing up. My sister will leave for NJ soon and my cousin and I will head for home. If the rain clears we will stop to kayak at Allegany State Park.
I know you had a good vacation. Good time kayaking.

Halfway to FWs, nbt/nbs. Thank you all for clues in the chog!
well done jbs! I am finding this one a non-fun slog
Good morning, all!
True, Trif, so true. Hi, Judi!
Hi Judi. Welcome to another round of Bable Junior. If you finish, you get a box of Play-Dough.
What do the Babble Seniors get, Molly?
Yay! Play dough!
Well, the prude like ones get a ruler to rap the knuckles of those of us who speak in sexual innuendo. The fun ones get a purple hat.
Good think I look good in purple.
<picturing nuns with rulers chasing Judi.
Haven't caught me yet.
oh, and Molly, too!
Hello all
car!!!!!
If any of the nuns that taught me are still alive, I'm sure they are still saying novenas for my soul.
They need to change their habits to be able to run faster.
Sssssh! At work!
How are you, dahlink?
not so good
hows your back feeling?
clue for the re6? anyone???
do you need to go back?
absolutely not
<let's make her snort her coffee>
Picture The Penguin in the movie, The Blues Brothers. My eighth grade nun looked just like her, only older.
LOL
for some reason, molly, I pictured Penguin from the batman series....
It was a bit uncomfortable, but they got right on the trouble spot, so that was good. My leg now feels like it weighs about 800 lg.
lb
is it supposed to??
yes...it is the pressure of the injected stuff
My 3rd grade nun. Sister Claire Alouise. She used to purse her lips and breathe out a long 'ooooOOOoooo." Then we knew someone was in for the ruler.
The best coffee snort I ever created was when I passed my husband the Sunday paper and pointed to a picture of Siegfried and Roy and a tiger and said, "There are Siegfried and Roy and the only pussy they will ever be interested in." Coffee everywhere.
lmao
LOL, Molls! Good one!
Any spray involved, car?
Snortworthiest, Molly!
injected a numbing agent and then the corticosteroid
I am old enough to have had nuns with men's names. Second grade: Sister James Bernard
Crap...you meant coffe spray didn't you?
obviously, my brain has also gone numb...
Hmm, yes, car. But thanks for the TMI!
Numbness is better than pain.
i'm sorry
I'm still uncomfortable...will be for a day or two
My mostest favoritest 5th grade nun, Sister Marie Timothy. She was awesome.
that doesn't seem fair - I wanted you to have instant, blissful relief
no...going for longterm relief
Hope you both feel better soon, car and Trif! I can personally vouch for the pain relief here in the Babble chog, though, helps me get through some rough days and nights. Rulers and purple hats indeed!
:)
we do Everything together - even illness :)
Back in a bit. HAGD all!
Trif...text if you need me or Matt

Clue for the en7?
lol molly....at the ER this weekend, we were singing that song, with the regular lyrics, of course
it is a French word, judi
Ty. Silly of me not to be thinking in French.
Really Trif? Were people looking at you funny and backing away slowly?
Around here, unless you were singing "Hermanas" no on in the emergency room would understand your song.
Bon Jour mes amis
No one
Firebirds!
Comment allez-vous, ruru?
Yay, Judi!
je suis bien..
Oh my, all the Ruru groupies are swooning at the Frenchspeak.
(wonders if Judi yells Camaros out at other times)
ca va, ca va :)
Mustangs!
Camaros?
I love mustangs
That's a car, right?
Got it in one, Judi!
firebirds and Camaros are hot rod cars judi
Oh I'm so sad that someone had to ask if a Camaro was a car
Judi lives a sheltered life
Oh yeah. Oy. Slow on the uptake today.
Actually, my husband drove a (very old) camaro when we first started dating.
Thinks of the Springsteen lyric...I blew that Camaro off my back, and blew that little girl away..."Racing In The Streets"
her cave paintings are wonderful to see
Coffee snort on 'cave paintings', oh my
It was once my dream to have a Firebird. Back when I thought I would have money when I was older. Hahahahaha!
I got passed by a Camaro yesterday going over 100 on the highway
it was an older one too
Whaaat? The Audi let him get away with that?
Cave paintings of mustangs..
<---practices safe everything judi :D
Every time I see one now, I can't help but think of "Joe Dirt".
the question is... how do you have a bunch of kid and have money?
It was all our dream, Molly - not the Firebird so much, just the money :)
kids
in high school if I had a firebird....
it is amazing how much money they seem to inhale, ruru...whenever mine happen to be away at the same time, I MARVEL at how little I spend
Off I go to ea4 a living. See y'all tomorrow! *POOF*
11 to go
18 here, Trif, and really slogging now.
I hear that, jbs
This is truly an effen grid!
So wait, only people with no kids have money? Who knew.
Well, not me, Molly!
There are people who post here who have several kids and appear loaded.
"appear" is the key word there, molly
It's the Internet, Molly, they *could* be dogs...
Um no. If you can regularly travel for leisure, you are what I consider "loaded"
But yeah, what they are posting c
could all be fiction
I think after a basketball game and a bottle of wine.. I appear loaded :D
Hopefully those are the games you watch at home.
Well, gotta go work on those cave paintings of mustangs along with Judi. Back later to finish!

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you are welcome
i am wondering how much of that dinner will end up on the floor or her husband's lap?
good question
You know, for all the venting Ruby does here about her husband, I think it's very hard for her to watch him sliding into a mental no man's land. And I think she is nicer to him than she lets on.
well he does sound difficult.. but then.. all men are
I wonder if he has always been the one who was looked after and he cannot cope with the idea that his carer is now ill as well?
Ruby's husband has what sounds like un-diagnosed Alzheimer's. That has been going on for years now. Not sure there is any caretaker loss thing going on.
Is there any reason why they have not got a diagnosis? A friend of mine has been worried that her husband has dementia as he has been very aggressive etc. It turns out it is sleep apnoea and he has been woken up 85 times an hour every night.
Hello again
sounds like he won't go to the doctor jaxx

If you dripping sinuses are drama, then some peoples thresholds are too low.
on the other hand, I'm Going to eat micro wave POPCORN
mmm... popcorn...
((ruby))
Maybe there is a hint out there for the en7?
{{CROSSY}}
Yes, husband is undiagnosed, but at his age *89), hat difference would a seciic diagnosic make.
From what I have read online, he's in the middle stage.
Better way to make popcorn made in the mircrowave. Mix a half cup of popcorn and two tablespoons of oil in a bowl. Put that in a brown paper lunch bag. Nuke for 3 minutes. Season with salt, butter or whatever you put on popcorn. None of that gross fake yellow whatever and the bad smell of store bought nuke popcorn.
I still make mine the old way with a large pot on the stove and shake it up by hand;)
U made Paul Newman's popcorn for the first time ever last eek and it was fine, just added a ton of melted butter at the end
I make popcorn on the stove too. But I have made it the homemade mircowave way and it is much better than what you buy at the store. And much cheaper too.
The I add just enough butter and salt so i feel guilty about how much I have used, and it is perfect;)
I can't stand the smell of those microwave bags of popcorn that are mass produced.
The only popcorn I could find here was in the imported foods aisle. It's better than nothing and French butter hides many sins
With real butter and bacon, anything is possible;)
eactly
I like bacon with breakfast. Adding it to everything else under the sun doesn't appeal to me
You could eat your bedroom slipper if you put enough butter on it
that would leave a margarine of error wouldn't it ruby?
That is what I say about blue cheese dressing Ruby.
<---loves blue cheese dressing
I can take or leave butter but anything is better with blue cheese dressing
I like butter.. but don't use a lot of it
Aaaah, blue cheese -- salad made with fennel, endive, tomatoes from garden (not yet)
beet salads with blue cheese dressing is a great match
you can even find pre-cooked but unseasoned beets here, makes it very easy/ I cut them up and pickle them with onions, turnip and pickling spices (from the US)
I cook beets from scratch.. much better that way
I steam them generally.. not boil
At this point, I'm looking for easy solutions
sure.. I bet
I better get to work.. good luck on all the tests and results ruby.. I'll be thinking good thoughts. I am glad your son is stepping up to help.
Beets...ptui!
He is really coming through and I am very lucky. He is involved with this and is researching everything. His step-sibs are both French -speakers and are helping him with translations. He has even hired a Fr tutor
Molly, you would like them chez Ruby
good.. best of luck and everything rubes
thank you ruru
I doubt it Ruby. Beets are on my blech list
My best best friend (long gone now) felt the same way.
The only thing I don't (wot) EAT ARE TRIPE AND RAW SQUID
