how are you doing, mel?
Doing great but only 20% battery so not chatting much ((hugs))
all good *hugs back*
Sonnet
Dang it
lol
{{hugs}} and good morning dearest sprite.
and g'day melia
*hugs rose* A very good evening, my dear friend. How was your day?
rather lovely. we had the jazz communion service followed by a brunch at the church.
ah that sounds very good
earpet - tame earworm
and an earpen is where you keep it.
oh! Of course.
*giggle* put them in.
added :)
mel had a fun one too. To unbo5 - to disembark
yeah, it's a good one too
monday will be fun... hospital most of the day. Bloodwork, psychologist and dietician.
is it all in the same building?
I hope so. My checklist says to ask at the reception where I have to go.
no eating from 10 pm the day before... all the way till about noon the next.
yeah, that will be for fasting blood work, and scans. they don't like anything in the gut to muck up their pretty pictures.
yeah exactly. All good, I can manage. Only, after that, I have to see one of them still. So what to bring to eat there... no carbs... does not make for easy take-along food
surely if you took a container of your soup and explained you were on a preparatory diet pre-op, the cafe there would heat it for you.
hm that is an idea, yes
or you could take it already in a vacuum flask. it should stay warm for quite a while
even better. Thanks darling. I was thinking how to keep things cool. Temps are tropical here atm. But keeping it warm is easy, lol.
glad to be able to help you. even from here... lolll
lollll you do, more than you realise
to keep cool, if it is a drink you want to keep cold, put it in a vacuum flask too.with lots of ice cubes.
yes, that is actually the best idea. I can bring a shake that way. Water, skimmed yoghurt and ice... and then put it the powder when I am gonna drink it.
yes, and you can shake it up in the flask. just make sure you put the lid back on firmly. don't want to share the shake with all and sundry
roflollll happened to me once. In the original shake beaker. Yes, I had put on the lid very firmly and carefully. Just forgot to close the drinking opening as well.
oh my. were you at home?
yes, luckily. I had to change clothes and mop the whole kitchen, lol
i bet. it was probably dripping from the ceiling..
it was. I have a talent for shaking :)
* giggles *
finally sent you an email, darling. Don't hate me for being so slow.
awww sweetie. i could never do that. xoxox
:D
brb, got a potty to break
np's
hello everybody
I have barely been on the computer, even to get my mail
{{hugs}} my darling ruby. i hope you are feeling supported. i am praying so hard for you. xoxox
I feel supported but soooo tired. They did the sternum biopsy on Thursday and now I'm just waiting for the results
are you in much pain still sweetie?
My son left today at 6AM and it was sad and touching.
Didn'ty totally make up for the "organize my mother's life"week
awww ruby. * holds dearest friend gently *
I am taking morphine, allowed 80 mg/day.
And I have to keep drinking water.
If you can imagine, a lady from the mayor's office called to see if we needed anything. I guess they're afraid that old people (LIKE ME) WILL DIE IN THIS CANICULE.
yes, that is to stop the side-effect which you and i know all too well.
back. Hi ruby *hugs* my dear friend
is it so crazy hot there too?
um.... hello?
here!! sorry forgot to say brb. went out to help sort out dinner. xoxox
ah, a kitchen squirrel :D
hmmmm, that doesn't sound too tasty. have you ever eaten squirrel?
nope, never.
neither have i? i wonder who has?
wth is un8 for a word! Jeez.
I am pretty sure someone will have eaten it. People eat everything if need be.
i know, it is absolutely nuts. for goodness sake !!
unb e
ouch sorry. Random space alert
unhat, ok. But this? Ugh, enable... a new low!
okay, timer just went off. perhaps you'll be here when i come back. if not, consider yourself hugged and smooched. * wicked laugh *
*hugs* darling, I am almost done. Enjoy your dinner!

I've tasted squirrel, but can't say I've ever made a meal of it. Hubby likes it.
Sorry I messed that all up. Didn't have light on and hit all wrong keys. Need to go badk to bed anyway.
I understood what you were trying to say anyway. :)
good morning
*Hands Annie a sparkler*
*waves sparkler and wishes everyone a Happy Fourth
Can you see the fireworks from where you iive, Annie?
Yes, I can see Macy's fireworks from my terrace, The view is unobstructed but in the distance.
Oh, but so nice not to have to fight crowds and traffic.
That is something I wouldnt do. The crowds get there early in the day for a good viewing spot.
Same here. People are on the Mall in DC all day. No thank you.
Good morning, and happy Independence Day to my American babble friends.
Im driving to New Jersey today. My niece always has a pool party and BBQ to celebrate Independence Day.
Thanks, crossy
That sounds like fun, Annie. Drive safe and enjoy.
Thanks. Laura has been doing this for years and it is always a blast. When the sun goes down, my nephew does the fireworks. Really great time.
They have a big crowd and they cater the party.
Bobby loves the party. You can't get him out of the pool except to eat. Enough from me.
I don't blame Bobby. If I had a chance to go to a backyard pool party I would find one of those floating lounge chairs and someone to fetch me drinks and be in heaven for the day.
I'm glad everyone is going to have fun today. Mr. Bich is in Costa Rica, it's raining and it's a long day of dong nothing
Aw, poor Bich
Daughter went camping. At least I'll be able to video chat with the CA kids tomorrow
Video chat is nice to have when your loved ones live far away
can I get a clue for in 7 please
Kind of a hillbilly word for guts
I found it just as you posted the clue....thanks, Molly that is a good clue
Ah, you got a touch of Peri Magic
It rubbed off on me
It's like Pixie Dust
:)
be back later
Not looking good for fireworks here. Rain now and it looks like it might rain all day. I can't even fly the flag.
morning, all :-)
more rain here too -- definitely won't have to water garden in the foreseeable future! :-)
ok . . . taking a break for my big bowl of peaches --- yum! back in a bit
Mmm, peaches. We had red, white and blue fruit with our breakfast (strawberries, blueberries and apple chunks)
A patriotic breakfast if I ever heard of one...
A little too fruity for me..
But soooo good for you...
*orders extra bacon*
Good morning all
I just had bacon and eggs for my breakfast :)
Hiya sukee
Waffles and blueberries here...
Hi ruru, how are you today?
Still sleepy
Waffles sound good
Carbs and anti-oxidants
One cancels the other. No harm done
Ha
mmm, bacon..
Hey crossy.
Howdy, Sukee:)
A little too fruity? Did you notice I said "with our breakfast"? We also had fried potatoes and onions and bacon, egg and cheese on English muffins. : P
Epic
Yum.
mmm...epic breakfast;)
Man does not live by oatmeal alone
He can if the oatmeal is in cookies :)
Well, you have a point Bojazz
Today i am making my version of home fries: diced russet taters, red and orange sweet peppers, diced mushrooms and diced peameal bacon all lovingly fried in heart-clogging butter:)
What is peameal bacon
Send some over here :)
Would love some of that!
Canadian bacon :)
Peameal bacon (also known as cornmeal bacon) is a type of back bacon made from lean boneless pork loin, trimmed fine, wet cured, and rolled in cornmeal.
The only oats i want are wild oats
Good day kiddos!
Howdy, scrabby:)
Hi scrabs.
And i have to sow them myself
Hi doc
Of coarse (spelling intentional)
I stayed up til 1am reading "The Girl on the Train." I finished it. It's the first book in a long time that I had trouble putting down.
good morning all. Peri Magic, I like that
Hi peri.
author?
that book is on my reading list, Scrabbs
*Makes a note: Peri doesn't miss a thing
Nothing finer than a book that holds you in its spell right till the end.
I just got here :)
Paula Hawkins is author. Devote time to read it quickly.
I took a time-out from Pillars of the Earth to read this book.
never read pillars of the earth, is it worth reading. it is very long isn't it?
I savour good books like a fine meal. i never, ever rush them.
973 pages, easy to read. I do enjoy it very much as historical fiction is my favorite category.
Ok, I just put a hold on it at the library for the ebook, I am 10th in line :)
I read Hawkins' book in 8 days. With total freedom I could have read it in 1 day. 315 pages.
not crazy about historical fiction
Currently reading Candice Bergen's autobiography.
Likes and dislikes--books, food, music, etc--are fascinating, aren't they?
the waiting list at our library for girl on the train was up in the 40's.. thats thru the whole system.!
With ebooks that will probably take about 6 weeks to get it :)
I love historical fiction
Just read reviews and excerpts - sounds like my kind of book. Thanks, Scrabbs...
I have been reading a few freebie books on my Kindle and I'm tired of them :)
Well, I have to run. Take care all.
Bye Sukee
The Girl on the Train is Excellent!!!
Is the sequel The Boy On The Bus?
Isn't it? It is so simple in one way yet a psychological thriller.
Maybe, Ruru. Haha.
Oh, Pillars of the Earth, wonderful. Have you read the Agony and the Ecstasy, about Michelangelo? For me it was similarly captivating.
LOL, ruru.
I loved The Girl On The Train, Godhaab
Michaelangelo ate twinkies
Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans, and a big hug of fellowship to our global community!
?? ru, don't get it. Twinkies, what?

nbt
Dan, are you going to the Mall tonight? A friend of mine is flew down yesterday for a week in DC.

For many years we went down to the river on the VA side, just across from the Lincoln steps, or under the Netherlands Carillon near Iwo Jima memorial
Had to step away to remove earworm, now looping Overture 1812. I am a fan of fireworks!!!
Hi Carlee and Bubba

Carlee that is too funny
There is something amazing about watching fireworks go off over the Iwo Jima Memorial
We are putting our TV outside tonight and watching the Boston fireworks from the comfort of our home!
well the river is swimable soooooo... (google any image of the Bluewater bridge in sarnia/ porthuron...then you will see how close we are)
internal is not in the grid
how are you Careee???
Rhymes with leotards, MLFAN.
MLF think more like removing them from a turkey or fish.
not outtards
but ends in d?
Molly it is pretty amazing. The first mrs2bit called it "living in a postcard"
Ends in an S MLF
"Living in a postcard"...I like that
It does sound lovely

HI Kate!
Kate, you will get a great show from Fort Erie tonight!
hi car :) how's the grid today?
Not enjoyable, Kate. Not a good variety of letters.
A little gnarly, but rather fun.
HI ScraBBS yES, i;M in Crescent Park, so I get all the local US folks with their fireworks, and the big show from across th lake.... it's quite a spectacle :D
wonderful!
So, since Im rusty, the grid will be troublesome... | can see it now... begging for clues at 10 PM when I'm too tired to see any more...
So, beg for them now while you are still fresh! :p
carleecat and I have the best of both worlds living on the border - though different towns :)
LOL...I just made my first cuppa.. not awake yet. Caught up on some much needed sleeep
My local hockey team is in the grid!
Some towns had foreworks last night so I heard some booms. I am having dinner with friends at 6 then will get out of that town before the crowds come for the show.
I found them, Car.

OK...must get moving. HAGD everyone! ((group))
Well, I've lost interest in the grid. I need to take my mountain bike to the bike shop and run af ew other errands, and finish up by 1 when the sun arrives. It is cloudy now.

Molly did a boo boo.
There is our ray of sunshine:)

It will be a crowded pb today.

Indeed.
I did the same oops earlier; both words are so close...

snap!!
Nice putt
ty ruru :)
if one can un -ursine.. why can't one unbone
tried that one too...no go
Viagra helps with those who unbone
a case where you would NOT want to de bone
wouldn't unbone mean to put the bones back in?
yeah.. like popsicle sticks or something
No, unbone would be to take the bones out
I was thinking chicken....
But if you bone a chicken you take the bones out.
ya, I guess people say bone a chicken, when the intent is to remove them...
I don't give a cluck one way or the other
just slang that has crept into common usage?
Julia Child once declared on national tv that Jacques Pepin was the best boner ever.
lOL
LOL
That would be a t-shirt
The prefix "un" usually means to take away from. Unwrap for example.
and folks think cooking is dull.
Julia Child "wished" she got boned by Jacques.
name that famous irish musician in the grid
i wonder if it got bleeped out later?
BONO
No I saw the show.
... or cher's old hubby
Oh wow, I would um, not call him a "famous Irish musician"
if i try parapet one more time.... grr
But he is, actually
why not?
Because he seems more inclined to the British.
He's Irish.
Owns a great restaurant in Dublin.
Right on the Liffy.
gotta start getting ready - I have a lot of errands to run today
Yes, he is Irish by birth. My feelings about him are personal and I won't go any further on that.
Have a good one Kate.
I shall return - you have been warned ;)
hahaha
I must get lunch. Later...
<waves ttfn>
<waves ttfn>
I didn't know that...
maybe because he pays so much in taxes to Britain ?
Well, all the people who live in countries usurped by the British have to pay homage to them.
you mean taxes?
No, I mean their country is not a country because the British took over.
isn't a vote coming up soon in Ireland like Scotland?
The Scotland vote failed. Not sure how the Ireland vote will fare. These people seem to forget their heritage and actually "like" the country that robbed them of that.
ok.. I thought that I read they had a vote coming up soon. I was surprised that Scotland didn't secede
missing two b's.. there must be a couple of weird ones
I would have loved to see Scotland become an independent nation. Sadly, they have been suckled at the teat of England for so long, many can't figure out how they would survive on their own. No independent thinkers left there.
Scotland does have a vibrant tourist industry doesn't it?
I sure want to go there
Yep, a vibrant tourist industry. That has nothing to do with their lack of interest in becoming their own nation though.
what a load of hogwash, so your saying Australia , Canada & all the rest who still have Lizzy as their queen are not really countries. The majority of Ireland is a Republic & of the bit in the north 41.5% class themselves as British. Maybe if you think like that you should have let your South break away, instead of slaughtering thousands. I think the Scottish would be very insulted with you negative attitude to their way of thinking.
clues for the sa6 words before the shawl?
s + Ms. Landers + not down
You are entitled to your opinion. Most of the British think that way.
and same but change final vowel
got both tx Une
yw and hi! :-)
happy Founding Day!
looking for the so7 and on7 to finish
so7 highest voice
on7...on + surfers tool
on7 not waiting on the dock :-)
hey molly :-)
just p's now.. probably should list
ty for so7
yw peri :-)
thanks Une
I have so7, on7 and in7. help with other 7's pls
what a load of hogwash, so your saying that Australia, Canada & all the rest that have Lizzy as their queen are not really countries. The majority of Eire is a Replublic with a small part 41.5% still thinking of themselves as British. If your so fond of breaking up countries maybe you should have let the south go when they wanted to rather than slaughter thousands. I'm sure the Scottish would be really pleased with your negative attitude to their way of thinking.
ruru, I have not tried any of the wines from the list you gave me but I will soon.
in7 your guts, what's inside
oh sorry -- you have that one!
oh good peri. I hope you can find some of them
I have that one Une.
Yeah, I saw that comment before. Again, you are entitled to your opinion.
Wasgij5 should be acknowledged
I hope so too. I did look around quickly recently and did not see any. will have to ask one of the employees for help
ta7 x 2 are plurals
I went to fireworks in my city on Thursday nite and remembered how much I hate crowds and am scared of fireworks
ok, I only have two ta4 will keep looking
all I know is that there are plenty of Irish who want separation. and it is a strongly dividing issue
I hate crowds too. I watch the fireworks on TV
I felt like I was on a bad acid trip.
I do find it amusing that it's considered "hogwash" that countries like Canada, Australia, Ireland and Scotland would want to live in an independent nation, free of British rule.
found a ta7ty
same here - could watch with friend downtown on roof of her highrise -- but then it would take FOREVER to get home!
And people bring their infants and toddlers who scream in terror and cry "i want to go out of this place!" and their parents ignore them.
small children should not be brought to outdoor fireworks and of course no pets
just change second vowel, peri
merci, Une, would not have thought of that
yw :-)
I went to be civic and because it used to be fun, but it is getting so huge (it's a Somerville MA pre-4th display) and I was sooo anxious. And yes, the dogs were barking.
poor dogs
I am stuck with 81 left, may have to list sooner rather than later
our fireworks display tonite down by the river is supposed to be the largest in the whole country -- eeekk
bbl
what a load of hogwash, your saying then that Australia, Canada & the others who still have Lizzy as their Queen are not really countries. The majority of Eire is republic with only a small part a the top, of which 41.5% class themselves as British. I am sure the Scottish are over the moon with your negative attitude to their way of thinking. Whats Britain done to you that your sprouting so much venom against us?
I couldn't find my husband and didn't bring my phone, and my back was hurting and it was awful. I had just sat with a client who was despondent and maybe a suicide risk, and I thought hanging out would take my mind off of it.
omg, kap,what a nightmare!
I know. My husband said later "why did you even go? You know you hate those things."
sometimes a year later we forget, eh? LOL
I live in a country that got rid of the British who tried to take over our nation. We are actually celebrating our independence of that today. I feel for other countries who have not fought hard enough to get that freedom for their land.
i'll be staying home assuring my dogs it's not the end of the world!
tx Une and Molly and all cluers - most appropriate day for fireworks!
however americans are now under the rule of the IRS
1776 was a REALLY long time ago. Current international issues are not the same.
yw dan :-)
Ha ha ruru. I wonder what it would be like if we had stayed a colony.
Happy 4th to the yanks. As for the status of the former colonies, Canada and Australia are members of the Commonwealth. We are very much sovereign nations and are not under British rule. Our systems of government are based upon the Westminsterian parliamentary system but we are quite independent and make our own laws and have membership in the United Nations as sovereign states. The Queen is a figurehead and nothing more. Three days ago, we celebrated Canada Day, commemorating our severance from British home rule as a free Dominion in 1867. Molly, you live in a country that was ruled by the British, against whom you revolted. The main difference is that you went to war for independence and we went to the negotiating table.
hey bonkler :-)
Wonder how the independent state of Bosnia/Hercegovina is doing now? Or Macedonia?
Hiya Une!
Well said, bonkler.
"Independence" is a relative term. Again, you are all entitled to your opinions.
Th locale 4th of July is always filled with unabashed militarism. People keep saying that all the wars were fought for our "freedom" but in recent years, a lot of it has been oil.
And yes, we revolted. That is what independence is all about.
We are revolting.
Negotiating table, what is there to "negotiate" about being an independent nation? You are either under the thumb of another country or you are not.
Actually, no - independence can be gained from the negotiating table, or over time. Most grown children hopefully gain independence not with open revolt. Zimbabwe gained independence relatively peacefully (though we know how well that's turned out). Also, the Colonies were not a country 'taken over' by the British - rather, they were a British colony, who chose (quite rightly) to form their own country. However, what's right for one nation, country or area isn't necessarily right for another
What if Texas wanted to be an independent nation?
It is difficult for me to idealize this history, because I can't relate to the "we." And at the same time "we" were fighting taxation without representation, "we" were decimating the native population and generally not doing nice things.
Is New Mexico 'under the thumb' of the US?
great.. good riddance
But I will always love Ben Franklin.
Ha - ru!
The facts are not relative. We are sovereign nations. Britain has no power over us or our laws. The Commonwealth is a treaty arrangement not a system of rule. We are no more under the thumb of Great Britain than we are Brazil.
Whilst everyone has the right to their own opinion, that opinion carries more weight if it's backed up by facts. I might opine that Jibbers the Lobster God circles the earth. Doesn't make it right.
LOL Matty!
thank you bonkler for trying to point out reality rather than opinions. It is clear that this person is patriotic but has no facts to back opinions.
I'm very proud of the people who came before me who fought and died to make this country a free nation. That is what this day is all about in our country. Happy "Living In A British Ruled Country" day to the rest of you.
Entitling someone to an opinion is a tad condescending.
Actually, I"m American. I've chosen to live in the UK. Make of that what you will.
Free for whom?
matty how dare you impugn the Allmighty Jibbers!
Yay! Someone got the reference. Have you watched the whole video?
Really Molly, a little bit of reading in geopolitical history would do you a world of good. You are quite simply incorect in your opinion.
"I am not a number! I am a free man."
Where am I? "In the Village."
"You are all individuals!" "We are all individuals" "I'm not!"
What do you want?" Information!
Nice lively chog:)
The new number 2
Um, no, actually I am not incorrect. I minored in American History in college. But you Brits can keep defending your stance, it's your right. Oh...was that condescending?
I'm number 6
You won't get it. "By hook or by crook we will."
Of course all my First Nation friends thing we are all insane--they are most likely correct.
I am the new number 2.
think
Whee! It's like The Boston Tea Party all over again.
Who is Number 1?
Everybody was utterly bolloxed during the Boston Tea Party - drunk beyond belief (apparently)
Apparently your minor didn't serve you terribly well. You remain incorrect and are duly entitled to remain so.
Ah, sure Bonkler. I bet you have a whole different "history" when it comes to the American Revolution.
This convo is getting really personal. I recommend Howard Zinn's The People's History of the United States.
I thought it was the British Revolution
I'm just going to agree to disagree with all you British and those who live in countries ruled by the British. Have a nice day.
The British Invasion broght us the Beatles and the Stones, and I am eternally grateful.
I recommend the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:)
I recommend chill pills.
42. And don't forget your towel
Yes, nothing better than a good beach towel
I haven't been on chat for a really long time, and I remember why.
Not at all. The American colonies went to war to gain independence and create a free republic. Canada gained independence peacefully and became a free dominion. Britain has no power to pass laws and has no part in rule over us.
ahh yes, 42--too bad we do not know what the question was lol!
Dare I ask how everyone is today? :)
And you have health care for all.
Greetings, all! Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Muricans.
You picked an active day, kaplan:/
The question was 7 x 9 (I think) - it was an error :)
wth happened?
I pledge allegience to Jibbers the Lobster God. One crustacean under de sea, mon!
Hear hear!
Usually it is moi in the thick of it all, but I am behaving today--for the most part:)
I think we need to call in the cops.
Does Jibbers come with garlic butter?
ha ha.
Blaspheme!
Now that is a deity I could tuck into:)
Elvis has left the building, and I am going to a picnic so there we go.
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
I thought Elvis was down in Alabama working at a Chick-fil-A
Screw the Boston Tea Party. Let's have a Bahston Lahbstah bake.
Who is Number One?
Wicked awesome, Judi!
did someone say lobster??
I never ate it.
Burrrp!
Given the rampant patriotism argument, is this the wrong time to mention I think Jabbers is more likely than God?
It's all ab;out the butter.
You've never eaten lobster? Shell fish allergy?
mmm, all hail butter!
Oh, Matty...
Love lobster. Wish it was cheaper.
on 7, anyone?
Well, at last count there are over 2400 active religions on this ball of mud. i am sure that one of them is correct:)
what ship captains say when leaving on a cruise hego
I doubt that, Crossy.
ty Ru
Jibbers. The correct one is Jibbers.
I stand corrected. seems the total number is now 4200 or so..
I think , maybe Buddhism might be the correct one.

To paraphrase the Dali Lama, "All good religions share peace, kindness, tolerance and love".
back again to find more words. I had a pina colada yesterday but I prefer my G&T. Cheers all. Happy Independence Day~!
Judi, tell me which religion does that.
Hi Peri
Happy Fourth.
I went to a BBQ yesterday; which was a good idea. rainy day here today
Ahh gin and tonic; the elixir celebrated throughout the galaxy according to Douglas Adams;)
and the Brits..
who is douglas adams?
A U.K sci-fi writer of some note. sadly deceased:(
ok
If you like dry Monty Python type humour in your sci-fi look up some of his works
I will, crossy
42!
Jackie Robinson!
oh I thought it was Jeopardy
you need to put it in the form of a question.
oh..lol.. shows you how much I watch that show
What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?
:)
ttfn....hit and run here.
I keep trying to type something into my tablet , but all it does is flash up the words "DON'T PANIC" in nice friendly letters:)
lying low seems like a good idea today.
grab your towel!
Well, that was interesting, but I will grab my towel during this intermission and perhaps search out a gin and tonic..bbl my friends!
Enjoy Crossy.

bye kate!
bye Kate.
bye for now, I hope it clearsup quickly.
Oh woe, everyone here is fragile and somewhat weak today. *Sniff*
4th of july is not a day i want to spend in urgent care! will leave those spots for people who blow off their apendages with fireworks and whatnot
I don't blame you, let's hope it resolves.
I miss having fireworks in the warm, I don't miss having to wait so long until it gets dark (the British have fireworks for Guy Fawkes Day. Remember, remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder treason and plot...). It's cold in November, but on the upside, all the noise is done by 7 at the latest generally.
but it has to be daek to see the displays.
op 5, pls
yes, it's light upwards of 9 pm now

Not me, Kate! I grew up once. I didn't like it one bit. I reverted.
perhaps i should revise my future plans... there seem to be a few nay-sayers in the crowd much averse to growing up...
it's definitely overrated
I will take it under advisement

it's not so much trying to exhibit shakespeare knowledge, as, having NO knowledge of that word in any other context...
That's true Hursh, there is no other context for that word.
And Ru, the "animals" I have had in my bedroom usually end up farting at some point, hopefully after the fun is over with.

Look towards the light, soodles, eyes on the light. do not glance around....

*Hears nuns, rolling over in their graves
What do nuns sound like when they roll over?

I am long overdue for another Babble meet-up:)
|I look forward to the hiking trail... and though having lunch bought by such an engaging gentleman is wonderful, I would be very happy to be the recipient of a Crossy's special breakfaass...
Ahh the famous crossy epic breakfast;)
Narcissism is someone who is in love with themself. Close.
The mrs will loan you one of her hiking poles:)
Not sure I will require a pole....at least not for hiking...hehehe...where's Ruru when you need him...
lol. I will keep it on a moderate trail. We have one where there is a large 40 degree incline and a pole is a must, but we will not start with that one:)
i feel exhausted just listening to this conversation.
I'm pretty fit, just need to have the appropriate footwear.
I am blessed to live in such a beautiful area.
Cool.
true...
true...
Well, when you are bored on day just give me a few hours warning and come on up!
you start on the Bruce trail.. then it connects to the friendship trail my way - we'll meet somewhere in the middle!
Don't tempt me... as soon as the stooopid black flies are gone...
crossy, do you live anywhere near Lac Blue Sea?
Just grab the 400 north and come to Collingwood. Our black flies never materialized this year. a few mosquitoes but not bad at all.
I live on georgian bay Penquis right on the south end
I know the way Crossy... I even goole mapped your place one day... easy to find
Yup. it is an easy drive:)
A nice hike, then some fish and chips at this wonderful place I know, then a stroll through our Arboretum and that will be a nice day and a nice introduction to my pace:) Our arboretum used to be the town dump untill the 1950's then it was cleaned up and turned into an amazing garden where people can plant tree in memorial to loved ones. it even has a boardwalk that runs along the shoreline:)
my place*
I'm coming for SURE!!! I look forward to it very much .. and of course, meeting Mrs. Crossy
She says she would love to meet one of my babble friends:)
I thought she went when you met up with JOso and Flosey?
She did:)
I meant another babble friend:)
Can never have enough Babble get-together.
:D I'm Crossy's friend, awwwww -now I'm all warm and fuzzy
:)
yes, it almost makes me wish I lived DC way... they seem to have a lot of Babbler meet ups within a 4 hour drive there
Life is too darn short to not enjoy the good things that nature has to offer in my neck of the woods, and I like to share it with as many people as I can:)
I think we have 5 babblers in Ontario, a few in quebec, and a smattering out west
I'm amazed there are not more from Toronto...
