Last time I upgraded Excel, it took me forever to figure out simple things, like "FILL DOWN"
I try to keep my Office Suite current. I exchange so many documents with other people and companies that it helps if my system is compatible with theirs.
Fortunately the college doesn't change their programs that often that I have to upgrade my stuff. I usually just play around with what they have and figure out how things have changed and go from there.

A lot of those tech support people work from a script and telling you to reboot and clear are two of the first things on their script.
You always start with the easiest fixes first
wants me to clear cache and cookies just for their mail app which is intermittent.
I try to get those basic "fixes" done before calling support. THen I can tell them I did this and that, and it still doesn't work.

have you tried online.... or can you get 2 4 footers and tape them together? (not duct tape - the real duct tape - shiny silver like metal...) Is it gas or electric dryer?

as long as you have a proper dryer hose, the taping is fine for a quick job until you get a new one...if using an old hose make sure it's clean inside... lint can build up and that can cause fires - not the joining of two.

I understand.. and you're under pressure for it to be done yesterday... if you have proper duct tape, the fix will last as long as you want it to... screw one end into the other for some overlap and tape your little heart out :)
