sorry about that
{{hugs}} and good morning dearest sprite.
*hugs rose* Good evening dear friend. Just read your email. Men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah! lolllll
how are you today sweetie?
pretty good. Which is nice, since I have to shop and cook today, lol
take it easy and slowly, right??
I have installed an app on my smartphone and programmed all 6 eating moments and the medication in it, in a way that I never have to take meds along with food... quite the puzzle, lol
yeah I will. First babble, then figuring out what to cook. Will make a soup and throw a couple of portions into the freezer for after op.
good id4 sprite. start getting some meals ready for yourself post-op.
yeah we are working on that. Most will be yoghurt etc, but for dinner, I will mostly take soup. Homemade and full of meat and veggies. I don't fancy pureed meat and veggies much.
oh I know! I'll make soup and an extensive salad today. Tadone!
nice one, sprite.
always a pleasure, and it is smart cooking, because I will have to cut veggies for the soup too. *grin* It so pays to be smart when you want to be lazy.
phantom: harrumph
lol... someone else said that at flip time. they were quite put out.
lol! And rightly so.
please could someone clue the 2nd ha7
ha7, straw + sit on to be transported
hi Jjenny, it is a compound. Start with dried straw. End with a journey by horse or car
or what rose said
*giggle** or what sprite said
lol
thanks got it at last
wtg :) Compounds are the pits.
I um begging you for murcy...
huh????
murcy is not a word in enable. I say it is, it is too!
in swaziland maybe
with all the internationalness of enable I would at least have expected muir to be valid
is internationalness a word?
hi Ray. No it isn't. But you get the drift.
*giggle* in babble it is
Hi and hugs, ladies - email just winging its way to you.
Hi Ray, too.
*hugs Liz* Hello there :)

Hopefully the pool gets its compliancy certificate on Monday - it's been a long road to get there!
ugh indeed! It is amazing how easily they find fault again and again.
And they charge for each visit and the certificate needs to be renewed in 2 years!
omg... such money leeching
It's purely about raising money I think.
fireflies
WTG SPRITE!!!!
yeah it certainly seems that way, Liz. Absurd.
Congrats, Sprite. 16 left here.

Where is everyone? It has been over 1 1/2 hours since anyone posted anything?
Busy doing the grid for me :-)
Down to 14 words to find.

This grid can bite me.
Good morning, happy Saturday.
Joanie's boyfriend is in the grid.
good morning all. help with the lone e pls
A rim, Peri.
Good morning, everyone:)
hi crossy :)
((mrp))
how's tricks?
Hi kids.
hi scrabs :)
How has Saturday been, mrp?
saturday has been lovely scrabs :) you will enjoy it too!
nearly sunday, only a couple of hours away
Howdy scrabby
You aussies and your time travel...
ah yes! and the weather will be fine :)
Haha. Time travel.
well, why should they be the first to experience tomorrow huh? Why are they the only ones to be given this gift? lol
oh no no no crossy, the New Zealanders are already in sunday!
On the other side all the hubbies who put off chores till tomorrow are buggered:)
Those Kiwis!
Ahh yes, forgot about them
yes, they can be forgettable LOL!! our neighbours across the sea
This grid is forgettable. Not fun at all.
It is not bringing me great joy at the moment either:(
capri
i regret starting it now
give me a real one babe
Trying to:)
Don't regret starting it, but you could regret wasting your time on finishing it.
ooooh got all the ch's in a fatal swoop
Name the famous John of the National parks that is in the grid!
Muir!
indeed scrabs... trying to watch Judge John Deed and find crappy words that don't fit in with my monkey
Ding!!! ding!!
Scrabby wins a free trip to any park for a nice paddle!
Acadia NP, please.
my brain is melting
My sister is visiting form New Jersey and we paddled yesterday at a beautiful lake. Today will be cloudy so I think we will do a long hike. Tomorrow will be sunny and we will paddle again.
There is an amazing mini-series on Netflix called "National Parks: America's best Idea." I highly recommend it.
Nice.
Some say the series it too lyrical and reflective, but I loved it
Not so much filled with hard facts and data, it is, rather, filled with the history of the people behind the parks, and their emotions, sacrifices and ultimate victories over a government that at the time would have rather used to parks as a mined resource or to construct dams
Darn, I am having readability issues today:)
In the end, only one was lost, the Hetch Hetchy Valley
Anyways, i ramble... time to find some tea...
I am reading another book on Adirondack history,; this one was written in 1859. Fascinating.
There, kettle is on. One good thing about living in 900 sq feet is that everything is at hand:)
Would be a real interesting read written in 1859:)
and am about to watch the end of season 2 of Penny Dreadful
The language is different, so that makes it interesting.
What is that about, mrp?
I love the older, more formal language, but if you can read Dickens, then there is no problem
featuring Dorian Gray, Frankenstein, Joan of Arc, Van Helsing, ... absolutely bizarre
My issues arise when I have to read the Bard.
it is about a group of 5 people who are all very different, in Victorian London, trying to stop the evil.
In high school I used Monarch Notes for every book and the only book I truly finished was Catcher in the Rye.
Interesting, mrp.
all the people that come together are somewhat evil themselves, but not
is a very interesting series
it did take me a few episodes to get used to the language... as in the violence of language
it stars Timothy Dalton and Josh Hartnett... excellent acting
it actually has 4 James Bond alumni
Interesting.
help with mo7 pls
I have no 7's yet, Peri.

sorry peri, not yet
Start like the heavy sedative, end with most of frozen water

lol hi all. happy saturday
... Glenn ford, Raymond Burr, Lorne Green, Mary Pickford
we have enough trouble with our own lousy selection of politicians --- and our campaign is only lasting 70 days --- don't know how you folks put up with it
no kidding cyber
I think we can all agree that Bieber is the worst thing Canada has done to us
<--political junkie but would prefer we wait til Jan at least.
I think we're going to go on a vacation next year right before the election.......
Just wish we can just enjoy life not a continous campaign
so will Obama harp you might run into each other
we have to do a mail in vote this time -- leaving the country before the advance polls and not returning to our riding untill the day after the election
In our county mail in votes are the only way to vote now. Kind of sad.
... what about David Frum ... couldn't make it in Canada despite his mother's position ... so he wrote speeches for W Bush
I still enjoy going to the polls. But then, I reminisce when I see a phone booth.
that will never happen until you decide to elect your house of reps for more than 2 years
I like going to the polls. Makes me feel like I'm being patriotic. Voting by mail is a poll tax IMO since you have to pay for the stamps
they should have polls at starbucks.. so you could vote and get a latte
... you could delegate a proxy to vote for you cyber
pr5, not the numbers?
pr 5 the best in hawaiian
thi s steak is pr5
What steak? Is there steak here? I love steak.
thanks, new word
not to trifoso
although why would anyone make an introductory statement about steak?
no idea what the best in hawaiian is
they would if they had a beef with someone :D
... what about in Italian?
omg, it's geeting GOOD in here
have the number with the last vowel changed - is that what you are clueing?
in Italian it ends with an i
"I would like to make a declaratory statement---this steak is BETTER THAN SECUNDO!""
guess it is
... alright then ... it's a brand of spaghetti sauce
prchefboyardee
damn it
we're messing with the pr's nan, the last pr5 is a introduction.....
i just gave up on the chog and monkeyed it!
*chog is offended*
chog will have to re-read the knock knock jokes from last night and get over it.
*chog now has abandonment issues*
3 to go then LAKE TIME!
I'm here
Yeesh, now even the chat log gets offended. We need a HIGHLY SENSITIVE sign in here.
wonders if there are chog therapists?
Molly was that intended to be amusing or not?
yes molly .. it is best to include the joke in the same sentence
we're just joking, cos
Oh of course, I forgot my (meant to be humorous)...wouldn't want to be accused of being critical. LOL! LOL! LOL!
Oh I know harp.. its an inside joke :P
ah
for a good time go read the last hour of yesterday's chog.....
I can teach you how to be more like me molly
my6?
:D
See I can say "Cos, you can bite me" here and Cos knows I'm joking. But since everyone else seems to think I'm being critical, I have to include a disclaimer. Ru, I will take lessons from the master.
I'll start lesson one today for you :D
Because everything Ru says is golden. ♥♥♥

I would rather walk across hot coals barefoot than go to Costco on a Saturday.
they have enough free samples for a good saturday lunch though Molly
I try to avoid shopping anywhere on a Saturday
*signs molly up for a Tony Robbins luau *
If I shop on the weekend, I get up very early and go. I can't stand crowds. Cos, yes to the free samples. But those people look at you funny when you keep coming back.
Ah, Tony Robbins. Now there is a guy who has made a fortune teaching people common sense.
someone gave me a bottle of chucky nan.. I put it in my wine cellar to shock and crack people up
2 Buck Chuck...I am not even a wine snob and I won't drink that stuff. It's the Boone's Farm of 2015.
***Sorry, not meant to be critical***
My feeling is if some people like it and it works for them.. that's fine with me.. I guess if it doesn't kill you it's a good deal
it's actually four buck chuck nowadays I think
we all have Harvey Posert to thank for Two buck chuck
Agreed. Whatever works for you is a-okay. (Attempting to be harmonious)
(feebly attempting) :D

I'll be careful how I say "Hello" -- tiptoeing into chog
<-dweeb
you damn well better ruby
Hello Ruby
what is all this humorlessness about,. anyway? Nobody is forced to read the chog
hi ruby!
As Bette Midler once famously said, when she had a "clothing indicent on live TV", f*** 'em if they can't take a joke"
We are having crazy weather, not like the usual August
But, hey, I'm alive!!!!
Or, as a friend of mine says, joke 'em if they can't take a f***
hahah
I love bette midler's tweet yesterday about the debate
What did she say?
He also uses the term nuckin' futz which I find amusing.
Greetings, all!
*!* ta da *!*
there was a big blow up about Lenny Kravitz' penis coming out on stage and Bette Midler said "big deal.. the republicans put ten dicks out on a stage"
hagd everyone
congrats nan
hellow juuuuudi
Lololol! Actually, there are 17 dicks, but they can't all be on stage at once.
lol - love the tweet
And I say that in the most pro-republican way, of course.
I'm still laughing about all the fuss regarding Trump's comment about Megyn Kelly. Anyone who spells Megan...MeGYN deserves what she gets
that would be megyn's mother and father then
megyn Kelly was weird in the debate.. it was like she was aggressively coked out
I don't think 10 politicians on one stage can even be called a debate. It's more of a show-and-tell, 10 minute flash mob. Now, when they make it an enclosed cage death match... that's when things will get interesting.
I have to think that naming your daughter a misspelling of a name that includes the abbreviation for a doctor who examines vaginas is unfortunate, to say the least.
*snort*
... and this is my sister, Virgynya.
ca 6/24 pls
Don't have that one yet, bichon.

What the birdy sound is, rather.

Don't listen to Ru, Judi. He takes his dog for "walkies"
**All in good fun, humorous and non-critical*
<---ru's dog is offended
*Goes to the CRITICAL corner
*puts up wire fencing around corner*
My, don't you look fetching in your scarlet letter??
have to get going.. you all have fun and good humor
See ya, Ru!
Down to 13. Geesh. This grid is a pain in the ass.

I was on vacation. When I got home I found my TV, internet and land line all dead: Someone 'accidentally' cut the wires. A handyman who wasn't so handy. So all I have is my laptop and my neighbour's WiFi. Not used to roughing it LOL
How do you get access to your neighbor's WIFI?
