And as for claws, You will get punctured many times over the years. Black cats (ours at least) seem to have high hunter/killer instincts, and grow the claws real fast to go with it:)

Yep, Tobey was quiet at first but now he is the instigator of most trouble around here :) He can now jump on the countertops like Damon but does less frequently.
there is still this stigma attached to black cats. Many still find them boring as well, and seek out more vibrantly colored kitties. However, you will quickly find theat they have incredible personalities.
As I think I said I had planned to get a black cat whatever :) I have heard they have a hard time getting adopted for silly reasons.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a very bad idea. Microsoft has given up on the antivirus, it's only designed as a built in security now, to make sure everyone has at least a very basic antivirus. Last I checked it's detections levels were around 85% (compared to all others over 95%)

Don't get me wrong, it's great that Windows 8 and 10 have an integrated automatically activated antivirus, too many people have infected machines with no protection whatsoever. I just wish it was clearer that it's really only a temporary solution until you can install a real antivirus.
I think I have three different ant-virus, anti-spam, anti-ad ware programs running behind the other essential stuff. Redundancy is always a good idea.
Depends exactly what you mean. Antivirus redundancy is NOT a good idea, as 2 different antivirus programs will conflict with each other. However adding anti-spam and adware programs on top is definitely a good idea :)

Microsoft's antivirus isn't a "real" antivirus, in that it has a rather low protection rate. Probably the best free "real" antivirus at the moment is Avira.

No, Microsoft has just given up the fight to be in the top antivirus products, realising that it's too much work. So now it's included in Windows to make sure everyone has at least some basic protection. Avira is free and is actually much better that most paid programs

Avira had a bad reputation in the past because they went a little mad with their ads. Now you just get a notification every couple of days, no big deal.
