Yes and no, Mo. Summer time is murder with traffic.Especially as they are doing vital road works like pothole so adding more to congestion.Winter time almost nothing is open so no where to go except pubs which I am not into..lol...But on the whole a beautiful place.

Hello, Nef. The summer here this year has been rubbish.And it will not be long before winter returns.i do try and be positive about our weather but not this year..lol
I was complaining to a group of people today about the weather when one of them said that we'd only had 2 days above 90 degrees (F) here. It isn't so much the temperature to me this year; it's the heat and humidity combined that's bothersome.
Oh I agree the high humidity and heat makes you sweat like you look like you have just stepped out of a bath fully clothed..lol Not nice.
Yesterday was 78F with 83% humidity. Sweaty pleasant temp. It was different. But beats higher temp with that humidity.
That is here where i live :)
Although saying that I very rarely sweat that much no matter how hot it gets.
I don't know how people can live in that high humidity, seain. It just makes me melt

Sadly we have 5 openings and the state has not yet approved the hiring process to begin so.. very short on dorm staff :( and we cannot use most of our subs since they have worked 9 months already they must not work for us for 6 months to give other subs a chance but ... what happens if we have no subs? ugh.
The States and the counties have the most bizarre, takes forever hiring process there is. It's ridiculous.
Its weird I applied for the job the day it was posted, got interviewed a week later, offered job next day, start day after that
I thought it was crazy I got hired the day before back to work day for staff
State and county hiring is all dependent on fiscal budgets that have to be approved before they can hire. And I don't need to tell you how legislature futzes around about such things.
Ah thats right. FY starts 7/1 I got hired end of July.

Last year my team mate died early in the year so I had to deal with sub after sub after sub. Subs do not have access to computer or personal info so I was stuck doing all the paperwork
