Aw, how bad is the nerve pain?
Pretty bad, but I don't think it's the worst it could be. The rash is just spreading now.
i read that yesterday, sukee. how are you doing?
I have some oxycodone/tylenol to help with the pain.
There are some bigger blisters on my back today.
The rash will dry up but the nerve pain is what gets people.
I've had the pain for almost a week, it came first. I thought I had pulled a muscle. The worst right now is on my stomach.
It feels like pins and needles
Often the nerve pain precedes the rash.

sukee there is a topical ointment you can get here.. most often used with diabetes patients... it $ ..comes in a tiny bottle you need to put it on with gloves..but works to ease the pain
ask the pharmasist for it
the bottle is about the size of an aromatherapy bottle and is about 30.00 abottle... but you need only a bit ...
my DXH used it for the pins and needles inhis feet when he was first paralysed... eased the sensation until he was able to cope with it 24/7
