The pain killers help. Everytime I think I can stop taking them the pain comes back.
I asked about it and they told me they haven't decided if it is effective for people who have had it. I will definitely think about it.

haven't had shingles, but have seen some horrid outbreaks, and patients complain a lot re how bad the pain is
I think I was luck, mine is under the left breast to my ribs and a couple of spots on my back, one on my spine. I haven't had any weeping. We got it early.
