He is installed in a hospital bed in our bedroom and I'm organizing more help around him.
I thought he wasn't to come home again at all?

He is better off here and I'll keep him here 'til the end as there are no places available anyway and at least I know he's not being neglected

Trif, I wish I had some really great news to report... I am getting by as best I can.. I have started practising "gratitude"... not writing a journal or anything, just trying to think of something every day before I go to bed that I am thankful for.. science says it helps... there is quite a body of work out now.. Ifind it helps...
I do care trif... and I know many Babblers care too... bring us your burdens, it will help lighten them jsut by sharing what you're comfortable with.. and I'm sure Crossy sends you another big bear hug too...

There is no specific way to bounce back.. and there is no short cut to grief,,, whether death of a loved one or death of a long relationship, they are equally painful and you jsut muddle through as best yo can... use that support network of friends.. they are jsut waiting to be asked, because they don't know what to do/say.....
I had just spoken to my beloved friend Steven Friday morning. He was coming off the late shift as I was heading into early work. He planned to meet a friend for coffee, then take a nap. He never woke up.

It is perfectly fine not to be strong...that is the beginning of the healing. It is an unrealistic expectation society puts on us...what soodles said.. tea and sympathy is in order.

The baby's mother is 26 and her husband is 29. They are both level headed and will be excellent parents. The pregnancy was planned and this baby was very welcome.
