medusa, i have been so ti5 lately. we had a 60th birthday party to at5tend on saturday night, so late to bed, and yesterday, we had our parish 'christmas' dinner, on st nicholas' day. we ate ourselves into oblivion. we both had a 2 hour nap in the afternoon, and fell into bed by 8:30pm to sleep through to 9am.
indeed, rose -- queen size bed. It only gets a little crowded when the chow/german shepard/border collie blend joins us.
good grief!! does that happen often??
at night, only once or twice thus far.
But that dog's getting old, and usually needs help getting up on the bed.
Sounds like you had a good time Rose. My sleep has been backwards recently. Been sleeping the day through and awake all night! Actually went to sleep at about 6 last night and just got up about an hour ago at 6 so hoping it is all sorted out again now for a while at least.

you can have the Expert open with babble, and firefox with other windows. Or chrome or IE or Opera or whatever you want to use
i have , usually,2 tabs open on one window of firefox, then enable dictionary on another, and lickety's list when i need it on a 3rd one. once i have finished the grid i close lickety, and if i close the enable window that's when firefox freezes.
the Expert browser allows you to have babble open, plus the Add box in which you type both the words for the puzzle and the sentences for the chat. Plus the lickety clues if you want them. Plus the resources like enable, morewords etc if you want them. All in one browser window.
but if i open lickety and enable in the same window as babble i can't see them unless i click on them. with the 3 windows open and shrunk down i can see all 3 at once.
with the expert you will have it all in one window.

it is a shame no Mac user has stepped up to adapt the Expert for Mac. It works like a regular browser, only especially tailored for babble. Best feature is the Add Box. You just type in words and chat. When you add a single word, it goes to the grid. When you add more than one word (using space bar) it automatically knows it has to go to the chat and posts it there

Rose, not sure what you mean by right column. If you put a word into the Lickety add box it will automatically add it to your word list and the Lickety word list. It cannot be wrong so no need to delete anything.

Sprite said something about on the right hand side of babble expert you can click on resources maybe, Rose, might of done something in that. Although I do not have expert so do not know myself lol
Can a non babble expert use babble expert?

On the right side of the expert screen you can open resources where you have a choice of help programs, one of them being Morewords. There you can find words that you need. For example you need a six letter word which Lickety shows as (for example) de6. You can type in the Morewords search box using de----. Each dashh represents a missing letter. Morewords will then give you a list of all words of six letters beginning with de. Easy.
Oh I have used Morewords on many occasions!
I have used babble expert a while back, TheByzantine, and I am no way an expert at babble!

Okay, thanks for clarifying Marc. Some people indicate that they think it's "less than" to use the list (which is getting help) but ask for lots of clues in the chat. I've never understood the difference.
