well they are linking it to sinus inflammation near the eyes....was horrible feeling..am now on antibiotic for 4 weeks and a nasal spray.. the feeling of room spinning is gone...oh and i wear a transderm scop patch behind my ear i was a mess lol
how wonderful that the spinning has stopped.

Geez, you'd think that they would resolve the fact that you are disabled and move on! I know you wont get 100% but what do you think it should be?
doc has found out i have torn and retracted tendons in both hips, probably due to the fall. workcover have approved the funds for an ortho consult re this.
i feel i am now well over the 75%. my hips are pure agony. i am actually considering using bilateral crutches to walk.
well, i hope you get more than just a consult.
the treatment for the bursitis will never work until the tendons have been repaired/debrided.
have you talked with a physical therapist?
Ugh, bursitis. had that and pt was painful and delightful.
i am so glad i didn't rush into the autologous platelet injections. they were very expensive, almost $1000 out of pocket expense
my pt tried to help me...but i have gone beyond getting up at 6am every day to attend the hydro sessions.
did the pt say anything about crutches or any other prosthetic to help you walk?
lololol about the crutches. already thought of them on my own. also a friend has offered me her dad's old walker, on wheels.

thanks - i left a message for you in chat a few days ago. we're trying one last diet, a different royal canin - anallergenic, a bit different than the venison HP, and he's back on antibiotics and increased vanectyl. the vet read about CADI - thinks it might address the actual itching, more than the cause of it. but he's also asking his Pfizer contact about it

I read it.. but here's the deal Welki... it's nearly impossible to get to the cause of the allergy. I have spent thousands trying to find it. You can do allergy testing.. but you'd find like me he's allergic to a million things... by eliminating 85-90% of the itchiness you can eliminate secondary issues

the vet agrees, partly - and is ready to concede that it's not a food issue (after we try this last ditch diet). he also agrees about the testing, said we could bring bax to the dermatologist/allergist, but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. (in retrospect, i should have saved the $$ on the vet visit and just waited to speak to you - but he was sooooo uncomfortable.)

i've read about kangaroo dog food - there's one that's grain free and has lentils

it's impossible to figure out what the core issue is. I saw a dermatologist and spent a fortune that left me back in the same place I am. This new drug is a game changer for me. He's actually 60-80 more comfortable
and it doesn't suppress the immune system as other drugs do
what i don't quite understand is how the allergies morph into bacterial infections - is it from the scratching?

i checked with the breeder - no allergies in the past with any of her dogs. only issue was with her very first golden, decades ago, and it wasn't an allergy, but an autoimmune condition

breeding is often a crap shoot. some times it is perfect and amazing and sometimes it doesn't work out
Dylan's Mom has similar issues.. but none of the previous litters had an issue with itchiness.

Une, I was floored when I read that Natalie Cole died. Ru, I just chop the cabbage and sauté it up with some onions. Sometimes chopped ham, but there is ham in the black-eyed peas.
