yes and protein is what your body needs. Eliminate most carbs, make sure every meal contains protein, and eat 6 small meals every day. Lots of water/tea.

fruits are carbs. And the low carb thing depends on combining low carb with high protein.

My students try and skirt the plagiarism issue; they have a 4 paragraph argumentative essay. It should top out at 3-5 pages--tops. What they do is put in these big, long quotes that eat up a half a page so they have to add as little creative content as possible. :)

I'm sorry to say that this time I'm back because I find myself with a lot of extra time. My husband passed away on Dec 21 at age 48. no its fine soodle she would have been 87 in july. for the last year she has been in a nursing home. she was doing as well as can be expecte (alzhiemers)about 2 weeks ago we saw a rapid decline.she passed away this past monday. we drove thur a blizzard to get there but we were too late.

ivesy, when my mom passed about 5 years ago (also in a nursing home, with dementia and a broken hip) I felt (at any given moment) sorrow, relief, guilt at the relief...hugs

I am well, thanks. It has taken 2 full years before I feel as if my badly broken ankle has healed completely. I never would have imagined it could take so long to properly heal. I hope your bones have the same experience.
:-) so do i... yeah it was about 2 years before i felt that my ankle was properly healed. even so, because of the hardware still in it, cold weather can give me some grief.
I had the metal taken out because it turns out I was allergic to it. I haven't paid much attention to the weather, but just having the confidence to go up and down stairwells without hanging on or stepping out of the tub without having to think about it first is HUGE for me.

your troubles just seemed to go on and on and I sincerely hope that one day you will wake up and feel like nothing is difficult any more the way it did for me. There is always hope.

thanx bugs. doc found out why my hips are so painful. the ruptured tendons frayed edges are aggravating the muscles. simple arthroscope with debridement should go a long way to relieving a lot of the discomfort.
oh, I so hope they can do that for you and that everything goes well. Chronic pain is SO debilitating
who knows?? i may well be able to go back to dancing....lol
