Hi Scrabbler, question for all, how long does it take to finish? Seems all I do is sit on this computer too much.
It depends on the size and difficulty of the grid, Mary. I usually don't finish grids, unless they are under 100 words.
With my personality, I have to finish. It's just not an option.
I try to finish when I have the time. And when I wake up in the middle of the night I get on the computer and start the new grid. I think I'm just spending too much time.
When I started Babble 10 years ago I compulsively felt the need to finish and stayed up til midnight, and begged for clues. Now I try to pass halfway and find the big words. Babble is just for fun, not for stress.
The OCD behavior lasted maybe 2 yrs, then I recovered.

i'd create a sticky note and paste the list there. when the grid was done, i'd just delete it. it was the best for resizing and placing it to the side of the grid

Welki, I steamed the parsnips, then fried them in butter. That's DH's Grandmothers' way of fixing parsnips; and they are delicious. (And we very rarely fry anything; nor do we normally cook anything in butter; so it's a very rare treat
when you have a moment, click on the finder icon - click on Dorens' MacBook Air (or whatever you have) - and the application folder is there - and that's where the stickie note app is
they're handy because i'm lazy, owl - it's an easy way to create a list, so i can see what words i'm missing
i like parsnips. rutabagas, turnips, not so much.

yes, last month we got a big snow and COLD temps but at least it went straight to snow from rain with no ice in between -- that's what I do NOT enjoy LOL
it was a beautiful snow . . .
I like snow & cold; but I need to be eased into it. Most of December (that I remember, anyway) was warm, we didn't have snow for Christmas; it came 2 days later.

How big is Shelby? (My daughter has a dog now that adopted her. She woke up one day & this starving dog was in her fenced in yard; she's a cross between a German Shepherd & ???
Xmas was nuts -- it was rainy all week and in the 70s -- then wintr hit the following week :-)

Anyway, this dog is 76 lbs and HUGE; 2 years old and a very sweet dog.
