Your climate, much more temperate than Ontario, must be perfect for golf and even walking
yes here the season is much longer than in Ontario but haven't played for more than 20 years
hubby doesn't play anymore, he never really was an avid player - he was more into soccer and baseball
I was a runner until I started to have surgeries. I loved it, more than skiing; it was like dancing (which I truly miss)
I would have loved to dance - it was frowned on when I was young so didn't dance until I was in my 20s so never really learned and hubby doesn't care for dancing
I was Lucky to have lived in NY (Young) and then in Miami, in both places there were lots of opportunities to dance
salsa was my specialty, but I could do ballroom etc.
also a good exercise!

that relaxes too, but on another level. You need to get in another brainwave modus for the optimal effects. I'd say, read first, then the exercises. You might find some spoken ones, with a voice that you like. All you have to do then is follow the voice.

I can understand why everyone is wary of Trump, but I just saw a bunch of women saying how wonderful Cruz is and what a great president he would make. Well, I haven't checked in the past 2-3 years, but Dr. God told me once he had no plans to make a program for macs.
It helps so much to have both the grid and the list on the same page. I get lots of clues for things like a plural that I missed or that I have to find a word that starts in pt or some odd combination I would never have thought of.
I don't have a tablet, Just and old fashioned, sit down at the computer spot.
I prefer using my computer for Babble; it just is easier for me.
Yeah it sure helps. Even when people post lists I hand write in the words to help me see the missing words

I'm not that compulsive about Babble anymore. I used to print the grid out & work on it throughout the day; but haven't done that for years.
I rarely finish anymore but this one had me intrigued with its overabundance of i's I had to finish it.

So apparently they don't teach resume writing in school. I know this because I got together with the librarian at our local high school last year and proof read resumes for all of the senior students as a special project.
What about the fabulous ones? any of them possibilities?
nah, don't even have any applications from local HS this go-round. But have a recent grad from a nearby town that can't decide how to abbreviate apartment, can't spell references, and didn't include any dates, duties, or contact information on any prior jobs.
They don't teach a lot of life skills in high school anymore. My son says they should teach how to fill out application forms (I suppose that's similar to a resume), budgeting, banking, managing your money, and taking care of your credit.

I think resumes are a higher skill tier than filling out applications. But they don't even appear to teach how to properly address things. At least half the kids last year didn't know where punctuation went in an address, or how to separate numbers in a phone number.

LOL! (She's actually my cousin; my aunt-her mom- raised 5 of us after our mom died. I call her my sister because we are so close) Her mom was a school teacher & county superintendent of schools for around 30 years up there; she taught 3 generations of kids in our small county). He office runs like a clock because family reputation may scare off any deadbeats & losers.
Heh. I'm trying to get to the point of scaring off all the deadbeats.
Well, she learned the hard way not to hire someone that she had a soft spot for. One staff member years ago ending up robbing her of thousands of dollars over 5 years.

like my receptionist slot - in 2014, my lead receptionist died.
then for like 9 months of last year, my next lead receptionist was (and still is) out on disability because she needed back surgery and the surgeon dicked around and didn't get to it anything like promptly.

Then the one who has the most experience currently's last day was today because her father's been diagnosed with serious health issues and she wants to go travel with him before he dies. so now we've got 1 mostly trained but only part time receptionist, and one just in training but really promising receptionist, and a new one starting next week for training.
How far will her father go if he has serious health problems? I suppose he has a bucket list....

Well, that depends on whether I get a new doctor to come up this spring - interviewed a few soon to be DVMs.
