Hi Annie
hi sukee
sukee, how is Bautista today? Quite a punch!
Tough as ever :) Stinky is now enemy number one in Canada :)
LOL
Should be interested to see the suspensions. I don't believe Bautista should get one because he didn't start anything and was held back from hitting him back. Maybe a fine for the slide, but we shall see.
Yes, it will be interesting. On that note, I am going to put up a pot of coffee.
Just got the 9, with help
I got the wa9 along time ago but I cannot find out what it means?
Me neither :)
It's a Belgian soup, kind of a cream of chicken thing. Chicken soup with heavy cream in it.
Just put a hold on Anderson Coopers new book, I am 49th on the list :)

my vacation brain is still sluggish LOL... found it
Dee, don't you usually finish the grid in the early morning hours?
I have been for the past several years, but am trying to re7 my sleeping pattern... not sure if it will work or not.
Thinking I may need to be up an around earlier in the day when grandbaby comes :)
Much earlier in the day and often. Does your daughter live close by?
We'll see how that idea goes LOL
About 8 minutes away now. They moved to our town a year and a half ago; they were 2 1/2 hours away, so have had lots of changes and lots to celebrate!
My Mom lived over 2 hours away
2 hours is not awful, but 8 minutes is heaven :)
She stayed for the first two weeks after he was born
Bet that was helpful! I think her m-in-law may come do that, since she is farther away. I will have to share more in the beginning...
My Mom had the 1940's view on baby care. It was all about sterilizing bottle and always calling the doctor.
LOL...I understand that. I am re-learning already... babies are even placed in cribs differently from 33 years ago.
Do they even put babies in cribs anymore
Some start with bassinets; which is what I think our daughter is thinking she will do...
We were taught to lay them on their tummies; now I think they lay them on their backs. I am going to need a manual LOL
ma 7 new word for me
certainly a strange one, Dee
a fermented milk product, similar to yoghurt
yogurt
seems like a normal word I should have seen before, but it's new to me
How is your family, Flosey?
great thanks Dee, first grandson graduation HS in June so we'll be going back to Toronto

Sorry - typing too fast and badly
I play iron sudoku!
I cant really believe the wa9/108 is really a word!
"internet" is NOT a word??? Hmmm...
Nor is drey but in the UK it is where a squirrel lives
Wish we had a common list we could all at least add words and why we think they should be in the dictionary used here....sett, like drey, is very common in the UK, even if it isn't here in the States...I lived in the UK for several years, and I enjoy learning the words we don't use here as much.
et6/21 clue please
Greek letter then opposite of max et/6
ty
Clue for that Wa9, please?
Hello? Bueller?
Hi Judi
I will try to clue.

There's an echo in here...
Sorry hego

Ty. Good clue.
Can anyone clue the Z7 Please
I never would have guessed that the Wa9 was a food.

Z7: more of a trendy suit.
lol. I hope it tastes better than it sounds.
:D
Thanks Judi :)
z7 is dumb
I am disgusted with this grid. 65 Left. I quit! *POOF*\
Awwww.... sorry Judi
Love the wa9. First time that I have seen it in a grid :)
Hi Crossy
Howdy, Hero :)
Hego*
i love auto correct. lol
I can't make up my mind whether I am more irritated or amused that we have zo7, but not the adjective that is the source!
On tablet so typos will be worse that usual--if that is possible...
agreed!
no problem Crossy
I am typo tolerant.
Positioning letters in an order Enable will accept is a means to an end.
First, I must position letters in such a way for people to understand :)
So, with my two-fingered typing skills and spelling prowess, I write stories-- naturally. Have one about a haunted typewriter that should be ready soon. :)
Problem with this particular machine is that it runs on more than ink and writers tears of agony and despair ;)
hi everyone
Howdy, Jen
hi crosshair
I need help with 3 "z" words, I have ze4/9, zo4/10, and zo4/9

back. the manager of the music store just stopped by my chair to drop off some items I had to order... ;-)
I am exhausted still... wishing I could just sit back and drink wine and pretend I am an heiress en vacances. But, no. I am just a third grade teacher wishing I had the ability to take a day off and rest.
so you are eating out? even more spoiled
no, just at home. You know, Grant's the manager... LOL he had to come home to change his clothes before he goes out for his evening. (must be nice to be young and have that kind of energy)
sometimes you have to take a mental health day, especially when you are exhausted. It is better to sleep and refresh than to snap at someone unfairly.
oh I am sorry. I knew Grant was the manager now but had not pictured the change in family dynamics. hand delivered items in your home is sure good service!
oh, it wouldn't be unfair... LOL but it's not bad at school really. It's when I get home in pain and have to rest, and then cannot summon the energy to get up again without help. :-(
just finished and must go find food before the last NCIS with Denozzo comes on. Hugs to everyone. poof
Indeed... I am very grateful for it. Had ordered a new folder for my music for the orchestra (leatherette!) and a set of kazoos for the kiddos to go home with over the summer. :-D Now they are here, we can spend some time personalizing them that last week of school and creating a bit of a third grade orchestral marvel.
enjoy, bugs ((hugs))
ne7, please?
