Yes. He turned 50. The big joke in the past year since my daughter turned 40 was "gee honey, your daughter, son-in-law, and husband are all in their 40's - hahhaha

I guess I'm really lucky -- had just one awful nextdoor family many years ago (the whole street cheered when they moved away!) -- now my neighbors are all really friendly and caring :-)
I have always had great neighbours except for that one crazy man. Good thing we don't have guns up here
There is a cluster **** going on across the street. An older man being taken advantage of and physically abused. A house all out of code (I will spare you the details). Yelling and screaming in the middle of the night. Prostitution. I can't sleep more than 5 hours at night any more. But, I finally connected with someone in the PD who should be able to help.
oh that is horrible to live with, origami. I hope the PD can help the old man and get those others out of there.
I am actually considering getting a gun and a concealed carry permit.
The others are basically squatters who are abusing him. It is awful.
I hope he has family who can help. Please be careful with guns.
I will bugs. I grew up with guns. I have no plans to shoot anyone ;D but want to make sure that I can defend myself. After all, I am a 60 year old woman with a whole lot of criminal activity going on across the street.
His parents are both still alive and he has a brother. And has two grown children I haven't seen in a long time. I have filed a complaint with adult protective services and have had a long conversation with the PD about it.
