Think I am coming down with something. Had a very sore throat last night and this morning I have some aches, throat is less sore. Hoping it's a 24 hour thing.

I do have to worry about 2 cats though...
The biggest hotbed for germs is an elementary school. It is unfortunate how many parents send their kids to school when those kids are sick.
i'm not very good at being a nurse. I pretty much wish to be left alone when I'm sick. but Hubby...when he's miserable everyone is miserable!
school is the ultimate baby sitter (of all ages). can't afford to stay home and take care of sick kids so send them to school. let the school take care of the whining, sniffling, snorky kids.
And on top of it all, my prescription reading glasses broke this morning. Thankfully I have store-bough reading glass that work.
But, good news, I heard I won a raffle at the senior's center yesterday. I get a basket of goodies. Don't know which one I won yet.
love the good news, sukee! bummer about the glasses, but good to have a spare! hmm, what was in the baskets?
There was a selection. Some had coffee, one had a nice t-pot, mostly food and drink related.
I have been buying raffle tickets there for years, first time I won anything.

I did end up worth a c-section, but I made a good old-fashioned college try at a vaginal birth. Lil guy was just TOO BIG.
It is all in how your OB/GYN decides to play it. Me, I gave vaginal birth to an 11 pound baby. And yes, all my parts worked just fine for other things after the fact. (Everyone always asks about that)

I was in labor for 24 hours, but he wasn't dropping.
Yes Ru, the "other things" you use those parts for. People assume that once you give vaginal birth to a baby that big you are not a contender for "getting busy".
A 24 hour labor before finally having to cave to a c-section is a long process Eva. Glad you and Wee Evan made it through okay.

it was a pork tenderloin roasted served with five spice carrots and a Asian pasta salad with a sesame/ginger homemade dressing

I seared it on the grill with sesame oil (toasted) and then oven roasted it for 35 minutes at 325.. came out pink and perfectly tender
