pretty good, all in all. How about you?
Fine, I am usually pretty healthy and happy as I hope you are. What do you do for xmas?
nothing much. The kids are both away, it is just me and my love. Cuddling up together on the couch, methinks, with a nice movie, or music and a good book. Maybe an irish stew with lamb for dinner. And you?
The whole family is going to Perth to spend xmas together at my mother's place. We have a traditional xmas dinner and usually about 18 people.

It is a lot of work and my mother is 89. However she is training me to take over so I do help her a lot.

We always have our lunch first and open presents afterwards - that way mum gets to see everyone open the pressies. This year my grandaughter is two so she will understand xmas and this will add a lot to the day

my love and I both come from very dysfunctional families. No traditions at all that we'd like to keep. We introduced some of our own, and one of those is that we don't insist on a certain date to celebrate. That way, our kids can go to their 'in-law' families or friends on Xmas, and we will celebrate in january with them and their friends.

thanks my friend. It is quite an intensive process. But I am amazed by how strong and stable I feel through it all. Guess I really did enough preparation over time. And Noud is a wonderful therapist for me.
like me post-op revision total knee. i can still go up and down stair with no problems. weird, huh? i thought it might be all the physio i did after the first knee replacement. and you... you have done it all and become very experiened.
I guess we are both survivors. We are stronger than we would have been without any troubles.

yes we are survivors. but today i felt such a wuss. felt like bursting into tears which i did at one stage. no boohooing, just a gentle weeping. i am so tired of the pain and aching.

sadly it is getting smalller every year because it needs to be watered constantly in the summer months. Just a dribble, but constantly. Now that we have water restrictions and can only water twice a week for 2 hours for the whole garden, it didn't even touch the roof this year

it is so helpful to so many people. not me mind you .. i'm sort of anti-drugs.. but it should be legal
certain people can get prescriptions for medical stuff but it has to be grown by the government or some foolish thing. Our new PM is working on it. I love the medical value it has for so many things
me too. I don't have glaucoma or severe pain or a lack of appetite or going through chemo.. but it is so helpful for things like that
I used it a lot in high school to be able to live with my parents :D

years ago when you could still go to prison for having a joint, my lovely MIL came to visit me and her son when we were still users (before kids). Her brother was suffering terribly with cancer pain so she was trying to ask us if we knew how to get some for her brother. She was willing to go to prison if need be.

sure is a good thing. if it snowed there you would park your car near the road and hoof it to the house.
Actually when we moved here we had to do that in the winter as it was so wet and boggy that we bogged our cars - now we have buildt some roads
Thank goodness for neighbours with tractors who pulled us out often enough
I like to visit snow, but I would have a hard time living with the logistics of it. And the cold. Brrrr. We think we're dying here when it is in the 20's C.
