I have been having a very rough school year, and being sick for most of Feb and March did not help. However, my students are wonderful, I am catching a "third wind" and spring break next week will allow me to visit my grandfather with Tom for a few days. :-D

How are you, bugs? Did Mr. Bugs make chips of the old apple tree, or decide to use the wood for more decorative things?
good news then. Our kids just had Spring Break since we do it in March every year.
He did take it down and chopped it for firewood in a future year. I am spending this summer getting the outside of the house and yard tidied up. I hate living in dogpatch so as soon as I said I was going to hire someone to come chip it up and get the root out, he was on it in a flash to save money. ;)
:-) He's like Tom's twin... only a bit taller, older, and more familiar with boats. Please give him my love.
As soon as I figure out the allergies a bit better (last summer's and then autumn's scares have me a bit nervous about travel)... I miss you both!
I will. He made us a beautiful rowboat this winter. I love rowboats.
