the Zaanse Schans for one, lots of windmills, the first grocery store of Albert Heijn, stuff like that. The Verkade museum, with vintage chocolate and biscuit parafernalia (Verkade is a famous biscuit and chocolate brand here). The city hall, which I think is ugly as sin but okay, it is famous too with tourists now. Stuff like that for today.
Windmills - typical scenery :). I'm fairly sure I know that brand of chocolate and biscuit. i've seen it in speciality sections of supermarkets here. Yummy!

I went down to Victoria to see a granddaughter playing the second daughter in Fiddler on the Roof. She is only 14 but has such stage presence and a beautiful singing voice. I was a proud Grandma.
