Hi Nan
just found one ho 8 --- wonder how long it will take ru to find it?
finding this really tough -- heading out. Good night everyone
same here, 157 for tomorrow, good night all
hello all - was the 9 called ?
No, Ursh.
nan, I have three ho8s, and they all have the same first four letters. I think it'll take ru seconds to find them all
hahaha! :D
Hi...Does anyone know how Kam is doing?
The 9 is an A and to honest, I monkeyed it.... then I had to look it up because I had never heard the word before.... I saw its ending first....
This puzzle is a mean one....like the weather and such in the USA....we had 18" of rain yesterday and our county made it on ABC Evening News with bad flooding.
Should
thanks for the A 9... found it.
:)
good morning all
hi, sprite
Hi, sprite!
*hugs rbud and jai*
Sprite... you may want to return to bed... this puzzle is bizarre. IMO.
lol! Well, I am kinda partial to bizarre puzzles. Gonna give it a try.
Hi all.
From the grid... R.N.ise: to hire a nurse....(possible new Babblet????)
*hugs Liz* Hello dear one, how are you doing? And your beloved?
lol jai :D
Hugs, Sprite. We're really fine thanks. And you?
down with the flu, sigh. But otherwise pretty okay. Doing lots of throwing stuff out.
Sorry about the flu. De-cluttering is good. Something I'm not so good at.
Or Or "O-liza: The Star of "My Slow Lady".....
lol :D
Get well, sweetie. Yuk. Flu. Yuk. Cleaning....
we didn't do a good job of it either, over the last few years. Now, we are being thorough. Downsizing already.
thanks jai :)
Should've said that :( Hope you feel better very soon.
That is very wise.
thanks Liz :)
I just would rather chat than hunt for mostly weirdo words like A9....
good thing that babble caters to all, Jai ;)
Yup...lol...
No, Jaiannah I have no idea how, Kam is. Sorry was hanging out my washing. Hello, Sprite, Liz, Jai and everyone :-).....diving back to the grid.
Hi Zooz :)
*hugs zooz* Hello dear man, how are you and your parents doing?
I mean... sometimes, I wonder. If I was Dr. God or whoever, if I would be able to see a word list like this one and be able to post it without feeling sadistic....haha!
what about Kam?
I am well..Mother not so good..Father hanging on in there lol. Sorry you have the flu, Sprite. hope it goes as quick as possible.
Sorry that your mother's struggling, Zooz.
thanks zooz. Sorry to hear about your Mother. Best wishes for her health.
Many thanks :-)
I am really worried for Kam. Have not seen her here. As I said, we had 18 inches of rain yesterday and friends of ours in Benton, PA, lost just about everything yesterday due to flooding. So West coast burns, and East coast gets flash flooded to death....
drJ never checks the word lists, jai, lol. Most of babble is automated.
Hope Kam is OK. Time for me to go. Half the grid completed. Can't say I like it! BBL. Hugs
I know...
Bye, Liz. See ya later. If I don't float away first....
Stay safe.
Always.
she seems to be online, jai.
bye Liz, have a lovely evening and a peaceful night
Actually, my biggest problem is all the mold in the air. Our mold has mold....
ugh, that is nasty
Maybe she'll pop in and update....
Yes. I have never had such bad allergies in my life. I feel dreadful, but am not sick. It's weird. And feel awful for complaining while others are losing homes and lives.
others' suffering does not lessen yours any, jai. Feel free to vent, and I for one will take you seriously. Allergies are nasty.
My ears itch inside.
Lol
arrrrgggghhh I know that feeling! Trust me, using a knitting needle is NOT the way to go
what am I doing up at this hour!
I'm ok, closest fire is 50 miles away. I always have babble open along with 4 other permanent tabs that I use every day. So, I guess it looks like I'm always here, lol!
melon! Finiding words and chatting with us, of course. Sorry you cannot sleep, though.
And I'm gone again...
yayyyy *hugs Kam* That is very good to hear. Did your beloved make it home alright?
Thanks. I did take a nice swim and a walk this evening. On break, but I'll miss the morning cool, alas.
{{sprite}} {{lizgirl}} {{jai}}{{zooz}} and now {{kam}}
I am so glad you are okay... been thinking of you. We are seriously flooded...we know we are doing bad when we make ABC evening News....
*hugs rose* How are you today, darling? Did you sleep like a baby last night?
((Rose)) hope you are feeling better after your infusion :-)
I heard about the PA floods. Scary!
sprite, you poor love. *gentle hug extra* and hands out the tissues treated with aloe vera.
Sprite, no he didn't come home. Dad has to go to eye doc now, he failed vision test. Hopefully hubby will be back tomorrow. Sorry to hear you have flu, that sucks!
thanks my friend.

Good to hear, Rose. I might not chat much but I do follow and care on how you are health wise :-)

I think that would be "fhonz" - haha
Oh..that's even better!!!!

We can get co creator credit....lol....
Yup...
Fiona is a member of 4-H....
*fhonz....predictabitch....gotta strike at least once a night....sigh. lol....
I am going to bed. I am really tired tonight. Maybe it's the allergy stuff....
But at least we created THREE Babblets. Maybe.
hope you can sleep, jai. *hugs* and sweet dreams
Thanx. *Poof
oh, haha, was wondering who Fiona was... night, jai
Bye, Jai

oh just ignore me please
And she goes down giggling....

Nice one, Sprite. i only have three 8s no 9 yet.
I wish, rose. But thanks :)
the 9 is a weirdo, zooz. Want a bit of help with it?
Not yet,Sprite. But thanks.

WTG SPRITE !!!
Get well soon, Sprite. Lots of naps and plenty of fluids the order of the day :-)
{{sprite}} rest is good honey. honey, lemon juice and aspirin in boiling water, right?
oh, good that you tell me. Totally forgot. Will do!
First run through and I have 84 words left for later. Happy babbling everyone!
nice zooz. hope the rest of your day is just as smooth... loll
Thanks, Rose. Have a wonderful evening!
So about that weird AN9...anyone care to nudge me, please?

I am just trying to provide comfort and reassurance.
By this time tomorrow, all shall be revealed!
and you are excellent at it
Is Mr Harris a clue?
Is that Mr Harris, plutocrat?
he introduced 6 white boomers to us all and yes it is a word
am I too young to understand that clue? :)
what is a white boomer?
a white kangaroo
I googled that. I think of ro4 as a massage technique
"Mr Harris, plutocrat, Used to givemy cheeks a pat, Is a Harris pat meant a Paris hat, OK"
the only Harris I know is Ed Harris
he is the aussie that brought "tie me kangaroo down" to North America
google the songs, mael
Always true to you, darlin' in my fashion....."
I found it but I still don't get the clue or the kangaroos :)
lthink l'mmuch older than everybody, but ldon't mind, lucky to have lasted thislong!
the man's name is ro 4 harris --- 6 white boomers and tie me kangaroo down are two of his songs. He is an aussie entertainer (or was - not sure if he is still alive).
Now I can't get that song out of my head! Gee thanx....;)
the song comes into my head every time I see the word in a grid

I am okay thanks for asking. Glad you had a good time with your friends! Are you in the top section of sudoku yet?
not quite there zooz...am almost within 50 points shy...it's a struggle these days...
tks bojazz, will work on it...
Much better than me! I am still in the regular section haha!
thanks bojazz, got it !
i could never get into sudoku i find it frustrating more so then this lol
i complete most babble grids zooz...but rarely do the same for sudokus...luckily, we have the archives to work them at our leisure ☺
Yes I like that about sudoku. Nice when the babble grid size is very small. I too try and finish the babble grids each day. Did take almost two years off at one point though.
i had a 6-year hiatus with sudokus....then i was waaaaayyy behind...
Oh with sudoku I played it just now and again so like you had plenty to catch up on. But I am still way behind. Babble first for me then sudoku. Good on you for catching all those years up though! That took a lot of time and dedication to do!
Babble comes first for me too and you're right, it takes a determined effort to catch up: i'm on my third such effort...that means i've already failed twice to catch up lol
Ah but once you are there you will only have one puzzle to do each day!
that's right...some day...un jour...un dia...maybe this year...
ஜ۩۞۩ஜ F.I.R.E.W.O.R.K.S ஜ۩۞۩ஜ
Off to do todays sudoku. Happy babbling everyone!
wd zooz - nice talking to you - take care
I watched my husband play sodoku for 3 years (I used the newspaper method) and thought "what a time wasting event!" Next I played and did not like being 3 years behind my husband in scoring so of course I payed the fee and once in a while I get behind when we are someplace without wifi - but I always catchup. Sometime with in the year I just "looked" at babble. Now babble is first and I try to learn at least one new word every day. Kudos to those that have had babble fun for years.
nice cig47 ! i have been a babble addict for years ...and only now am catching up with sudokus - welcome to babble !

Peru???? Sorry, Peri
The beautiful purple mineral in this puzzle, the io6, is one of my favorites, It exhibits pleocrism, which means it loses color when turned 90 degrees. The Vikings used thus quality to navigate their ships.... the io6 turns grey and loses its gorgeous indigo.... btw, I love geology. I am such a nerd.....
could you possibly give another clue for the io6
I'm stuck here, love the colour purple though

When I first started playing Babble , 7-8 yrs ago, I would make a note of words that everyone called babblets. I had them all in a little notebook. We moved about a year ago and I am still unpacking and tossing. I just started playing again in the last few months and I cannot find my list of Babblets!! It must still be in a box somewshere. But many of them are coming back to me in memory just from playing ; )
I have seen the news reports of all the bad flooding. So sorry that you are part of it.That mold can ber very nasty and bad for your respiratory. Be safe.

The history of chocolate begins in Mesoamerica. Fermented beverages made from chocolate date back to 350 BC. The Aztecs believed that cacao seeds were the gift of Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom, and the seeds once had so much value that they were used as a form of currency.
