I would like to know who proves they are trolls. I don't chat much but I do read much of the chat, and I certainly know the personalities of many in here. I agree with you, Samantha Joy. Hannah was very different, VERY smart, if indeed she was a youngster, but I never saw one instance of disrespect.

Kate, the weather is really weird. Have the heat on part of the day and air the other part. Halloween was really quiet...not one treater. I think the parents are taking the children to parties or sponsored events where they can get treats. I do think it is for the best....due to all the bad stuff that has been happening. Wasn't that way when I was a youngster.
NOt much h appening up here - we had decent weather for the trick or treaters and much needed blue skies today )

Yes, I do think it's climate change... too much info to discount it at this point I thnk. Our weather has been markedly changed - even accounting for the minor cycles within the larger historical ones.. things are moving too quickly.. and that is part of it - once the warming - OR cooling cycles start, they are self-feeding and the pace speeds up. What we are seein now is literally unrecedented... so sad to see. Ihope we can get it fixed.. gonna take generations.

Never even heard of it.... BUT it runs opposite NCIS Los Angeles... so no wonder... bad time slot for a show that might be worth olooking into.
I watch the station TLC quite a bit. Unexpected is about teenage moms and their boyfriends in real life.
They also have quite a few "real" family shows, the ones that have sextuplets, and special needs families like "The Little Couple".
Lots of reality on there now... when TLC first started out, I watched a lot of it - but it was "The Learning Channel" then.. lots of good dino shows, history etc. I son't have cable now, so don't see it at all
It seems that lots of stuff I would like to watch is all now on special extra money tiers/choices for cable. If my wifi and ancient PC were better, I would look into Netflix or something like that...
Did hear about one shoe about ladies who didn't realise they were pregnant until they were in labour... hard to believe there are enough of them uut there to support a series that has been running for (years?)

Hand placing sequins for hours.....one of the challenges of this job is that they have never had an adult costume supervisor before, and the young lady who VERY much considers herself "head of costumes" somehow doesn't get that I am a) older and b) know what the hell I am doing. Listening to her give me lectures on how there are two kinds of scissors, one for ONLY paper and one for ONLY fabric, and her asking me if I know how to adapt a pattern has been....interesting, to say the LEAST

Numbness sounds like if might be a nerve thing (leaning on it while scrubbing floors on your hands & knees can cause a temporary numb feeling in your hands....

Yeah, me too. It kind of teaches you not to lean over it so far (or stop doing too much hard core cleaning)
It is a nerve thing Nef, but didn't talk to doc about it when I was in recently - thnk it's the "funny bone" nerve just below the elbow... I am just trying to baby it and ibuprofen or meloxicam... see if that helps...middle finger - baby finger "work" but a re numb... index finger isn't good either. Think it's because the right arm is resting on the edge of the table for mouse and keyboard - table too high for keyboard work... I should get an etbow thngy and see if that helps it heal.
No scrubbing floors - JUST got over nasty back spasms since June... it's bad enough that I have troubleopening things like jars and pill bottles - can't grasp a hari clip to pin up my hair... good thng I'm a little bit ambidextretrous...
So sort of like a carpel tunnel at the elbow then
I'd be happy to just get the dishes washed at this point... floors? ahahahah
That's my guess Nef... it may not actually be coming from the elbow at all - just a hunch...but it came on suddenly with no known direct injury to hand/arm elbow...
