long story but two weeks ago I was found on the floor of my bathroom unresponsive and barely breathing; was in the ICU for 5 days, then regular floor in the hospital, then I came here (rehab with hospital-level support) a week ago. Turned out to be too much medication prescribed for my headaches. I have discovered that when you are slowly slipping away from reality you have no idea that that's what is happening.

I am almost back to normal, just need to work on balance and endurance, and some strength issues in my right arm. But no permanent damage, thank goodness, and I've gotten off almost all my headache medication and haven't had any headaches

mlfan you are exactly right. My plan in the future if I get a headache that won't go away is to get a nice massage :-)
or at leawt buy a bottle of medicine on your own no going to dr for it!
Eh. I don't want to take anything, really, not for headaches. I'm sure I can manage them with the occasional massage and maybe a nice warm bath. They're not migraines or anything, just tension headaches.

we had a backlog of 20 years... with my handicaps from the pregnancies and the depression and all... we just never decluttered. When we started with the sales of our house, we HAD to get rid of stuff. We were thorough, lol.

and with tiny houses, there are so many smart solutions to optimise the use of your space. We will go to a workshop on selfcontained, off the grid housing. Some guy has done a LOT of research on that and is willing and eager to share his knowledge.
Living in a tiny house sounds like too much work to me.

Lots of work with tiny houses, what with the plumbing situations and lack of space.
ah, right. We will have to take that into account, yes. Make smart and easy cupboards to hold it all. And do away with everything we do not really need.
it is definitely not for everyone. My love and I will thrive in a tiny house, it is exactly what fits us. But I realise that is not the case of everybody.

I imagine it would be like living out of a very full suitcase, where you have to put everything back where it belongs immediately. I supposed I would like it after I got used to it!

I think I "might" be able to live in something that small, by myself. But not with another person. No matter how much I liked/loved them. People need room.

well, we are not newly-weds, ofcourse. We have worked through a lot of differences and found a good balance between us. We also learned to really communicate. Those things help.
or they help us, anyway. We are following our bliss with this move. But I realise not everybody would feel blessed in a tiny house, with a partner always close by.
I think it is great that you two are so comfortable. I just know I can't watch the same tv shows as Mr Bugs all the time so I need my own space to read, play Babble and get away from the noise of what makes him happy.
