rob called my mother yesterday and told her off. When she began some other lie about Caya still having long hair one year ago, and that being why she did not recognise her, he cut her short. Said her behaviour was absolutely unacceptable, and that he was through and done with her.

today has been quite busy. not for me... but for you know who. i did have to write shopping list, so that involved checking cupboards and frig. then i realised the bathroom linen hadn't been washed yet, and i was about to wear my last pair of decent knickers. so i had to sort, spray, soak 3 loads of washing.

you know the cupboard space in a trailer is very limited... yesterday rob was trying out some ways to put it in most effectively. Big space-uptaker is the annex canvas tent. So he was checking under the beds, check, big space. But also handy for clothes etc. So he went outside, found a service hatch, bingo, storage room behind it.
carried the annex tent from under the bed through the trailer down the steps into the hatch storage space.
went back inside, opened the bed storage space... and thought, darn it, another part of the annex tent? How big IS that thing?
took it out... somehow thought it looked familiar... finally realised the space under the bed is also accessible through the outdoor service hatch :D Same space!

we are still giggling about it. Neighbours almost peed their pants. One of those birthday party stories that will be told again and again...
