I am all messed up on dates and days. There was talk in the chat of last Sunday being Palm Sunday so I thought that this Sunday was Easter. All a week ahead. Wednesday is halfway through the work week, cause for celebration.
And I will now go to the PB and make snacks for all the people who use ch4 in ch4 today.
That's funny because l regularly mix up Wednesday and Sat-Sunday. l use Grey's Anatomy to orient myself.
My excuse is that l'm old!
Are you a long time watcher? I'm wondering how they are going to end that story, if they ever do.
Right now they are showing two seasons on two different stations. on one of them Derek is gone, on the other, he's still alive.
l've only been watching for a few months, but l love it.

They had some really good holiday episodes, back when TV shows did holiday episodes. They don't seem to anymore.

i'm not sure if Car.eeyore has said or not, but it is a very, very sad time for her, kadresa and I. Our mother is near the end of her life's journey - its really any day now. She went into hospice this past weekend, and we are taking it day by day.
not to bring down the chog...just...sharing.

the first time I walked into hospice, what immediately caught my attention was the pediatric area to the left. In that moment I realized there is something WAY worse than what we are facing.
Such a sad time Trif. I know you will come to appreciate what a special thing it is to be with your parent when they pass. Lovely for your Mum to be surrounded by her precious children as well.

she has been succumbing to Alzheimer's for years now, so this is not unexpected - but no easier either. I swear, the first person to say "really, it's a blessing" to me is going to get a throat punch. I get what they mean - she will be free of the disease and at peace. but DO NOT tell me it's a blessing my mother died.
It's not a blessing, her death. I was lucky to have my mon till she was over 90.
a beautiful, beautiful oasis at the ER was when I was sitting there, and got an email from work, saying a coworker had her baby the night before. I LEGGED it up to maternity, and I got to hold that beautiful little rosebud of a baby girl, and it was the best. therapy. ever.

your being a teacher, and your triumphs and trials, have been of great interest to me. I am doing today what some might consider foolish--a friend is driing to milwaukee, I will rie along, get off at my daughter's, he'll pick me back up tomorrow, so I'm taking a long long trip for just an overnight. But I will see her, and possibly a great grandson I have only seen twice and he is walking now!

Trifioso, Car.eeyore and kadresa - you were all blessed by your mother's life and she is blessed with yours. We are all so fortunate to have loving people in our lives for whatever time we have here. Remember all those great, good times - laugh and rejoice and she will live (and love) on in all those memories.

Sad news this evening. Trifioso, Car.Eyore & Kadresa’s mom passed away. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam usual. (Irish language version of RIP)

They are sisters, Nan. Their Mom’s passing was expected - but as we all know, that doesn’t make it any easier. Difficult days ahead for all of them. I have met Trifioso in person, and she is one of the warmest, nicest people I ever met. My heart is breaking for her right now.
