After the latest round of scans dr visits, consults, adjustment of med, etc, the conclusions are: new chemo starting Mondays (one nasty pill two weeks then skip a week; address the pain, above all;
The main thing I took away from all that, per the oncologist, is that we now treat my cancer as a chronic problem, but that the bone tumors will not kill me
I'm glad you have a treatment plan in place. I hope it is making you feel better.

So sad. Yesterday our K-9 officer Cooper was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is to be euthanized Monday morning.
His human partner and family are devastated.

He is a Belgian Malinois.

Turns out, a K-9 officer that dies in the line of duty or must be euthanized gets a funeral befitting any officer. So, we're going to have a big send-off.

Yes, very sad. K-9 officers live, train and work with their partners. They are a family member to both the officer's family and police department.
I know....the husband of one of my mom's caregivers was a K9 officer......such a strong connection
there was a Belgian M. K9 near us that ran off on July 4th during fireworks. luckily someone phoned in a tip several days later and they found him.
