I'm still under the influence of deviled egg smell. =)
ohhh, don't know whether that's good or bad. could be good, like well-made picnic food - or bad, like foul bedwinds
ooh, deviled eggs. yummo.
I don't like the smell of boiled eggs.
welp. i just realized i forgot to turn on the crockpot before i left the house. :|
Don't you hate that!
luckily i am picking up groceries on the way home, so i can just make tomorrow;s dinner tonight + do the crock pot tomorrow.
I love deviled eggs
me too, MLF. i could house a whole platter of them.
technically they are for summer only but I could eat them everyday
I've finally got my recipe near perfect.
bzz recipe for what?
psh. eggs are for always!
No, they are for any time you have a lot of eggs. These went to the luncheon for some men in the org. where my husband volunteers.
im not always the best at PEELING the eggs. but once thats done, mine usually taste pretty decent!
My deviled egg recipe, mlf...
bzz ohh going a bit fancy are ya ?
I just found ca9:)
I always run them under cold water while peeling.
I find if I plunge the eggs right away in an ice bath, they peel more easily
most of the time i stay pretty classic, but once in a while i like to do a little twist.
natasha yes that is what you are supposed to do to make them easier to peel
I love using my instant pot for boiling the eggs. that makes them easy to peel as well.
isn't that a bit more word though?
Bzz -- i have used mine to make boiled eggs, but i have tried deviling those yet. must try!
Not more work.
I boiled 1.5 dozen eggs in about 10 minutes.
Eva, I make a lot off egg salad too. Hubs loves it.
I gtg will be back
i actually enjoy a good egg salad. i just dont tend to make it very often.
All the vowels grey...Easy ones today...Must go do some house work...

Hi, Carla.

the Okanagan Valley, BC
the 10 is easy. find mo5, damp and you will get a ton of words
... unless you live in the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario or on Pelee Island in southwestern Ontario (i.e. in the middle of Lake Erie)
have mo 5 damp word. looking. ty
en
sorry, dos - we in BC don't count those ;)
GOT THE 10! TY. GREAT CLUES.
got it. BC.
... as we in the east don't count the Okanagan
oh that is quite evident -- don't count us in politics either
... well you did vote for a guy named Wacky for thirty years
yes indeed - the best premier we ever had
... of course ... we're voting for an ex-drug dealer now
I don't think Trudeau even knows we exist though, despite the fact that his mother was a Vancouver girl
... of yes he does ... you'll just never forgive him beause of his father's NEP ...
that was Alberta not BC
... he's desperate for BC support because it lets him say his is a national party more than the Tories who can't get a vote in Quebec and have a habit of shooting themselves in Ontario
he needs to work on a softwood lumber treaty then
... okay ... you just want the pipeline and Justin is trying to keep the first Nations happy so that he and we can stay out of the news a bit
pend
sorry
... ah well ... we can't keep everyone happy ... (anyone happy?) ...
no one will ever keep those hereditary chiefs happy -- give them an inch and they want a mile
... yeah but they've got the support of the United Nations where they make us look like truly evil folk for our treatment of them ... they're winning the puiblicity war big time
I think we should grandfather all of their privileges -- gee they might have to go to work for a living!
mo 8-9 please?

One fish? It's not a tetra...=)

break time
and now I'm stuck on the mo7/8 combo
.... big fat ugly things that usually aren't good for eating ... at least not around my grandparents' summer house
I get it eventually...
no idea but that made me LOL
My grandmother lives in an aged community...wouldn't dream of eating any of them
... sometimes the word is used to describe the action of whining and complaining incessantly about something
oh, you're talking about the fish? I thought you were cluing my mo7/8
... my grandparents had a summer house on Toronto Island and the lagoons and shoreline were filled with big ugly monsters
ah yes, me too
mo 7/32 8/45 ... take the mo 5/12 which make one think of climbing a hill or the original Let's Make a Deal gameshow host ... and add the first part of a short word for propelling a small boat with oars ... and then plural
tx again dos
gracias
de nada
thought I had the first 5 letters right but couldn't get the other 2
and now comes the hard part ... finding the one "mo" I've missed out of the thirty nine
I used to have a mitsubishi model named that word
... I couldn't remember which make of car used the name or I would have clued it
took me a sec to remember which make it was as well, but the alliteration helped
I was also going to say it was a model of mitsubishi in australia, but wasn't certain enough
hi mool!

sorry hokie, auto correct kicked in.
we get asked it a lot, usually in a derogatory manner, but there are all kinds of college mascots I don't know what they mean. boilermakers, hoyas, crimson tide, etc
no prob, aeb - it happens to me too, even though I type the word a lot.
I know KU Jayhawks are a mascot, but it is also a name for a person born in KS, just like if you were born in NC, you are a TarHeel. Oklahomans are Sooners.
I don't think there is such a thing for VA
Will you watch the football game tonight, Carla?
I think in some or most of those examples the state nickname came first and then the university used it, but I could be wrong.
I'm sure it will be on here!
PS - I was born out of state because that's where the closest hospital was.
Go Clemson
I taught third grade in KS. State history was on the curriculum. I know that Jayhawks are KS born...=) I can even sing the song we had to teach.
I'm not sure who I'm for, maybe LSU
