third letter please
Nancy...those are the clues for the he6/24...either make it plural or add a straight line to make it more so for the 2 he7/36's
And since I just started, I will send myself to the PB cause I probably used at least one word grid word in that explanation...orthis one.
TY VM DAN, I got it now.
YVW Nanct...and becausethat's the kind of person I am, your bio says you like mostly in Florida...do4/5 that mean you spend part of the year elsewhere, or that you have one foot in Alabama? I kind of had to ask...but you don't have to answer.
(I blame Pasternak for all those typos...his knitting Coozies in the PB is jostling my elbow...)
I have lived in Florida since 1984 and I am here full time. I lived in Michigan up until then. One of my kids still lives there with 2 or my grands. I go up to his lake house in the summer for a visit but cannot tolerate the cold or snow or ice or sleet. Not a winter person. Have learned to tolerate the really hot days but find it much easier than shivering in the cold weather.
of my grands.
That seems nice. I'm in San Diego and the farthest relative I have is my son in San Francisco. similar weather but more rain and fog. He is always after me to come visit, but his work schedule means I would be on my own most of the time I am up there so I only go every other year. He comes down for Christmas, my Mom and Dad's birthdays, and one other random time a year.
love San Diego and San Fran both. Good places to be in California. Have not been there in many years but remember it well.

don't know why the double post, maybe one for each place. lol
I like both also, but I am a fan of seasons and miss snow. I was in the Northeast while in the Army mumble-mumble year ago and lived in snow for a season or two, but not enough to get tired of it.
Danf63, my daughter who now resides in the northeast would gladly give you any of the snow that they keep getting. Thought she would be glad to get out of the rainy pac northwest when they moved! She seriously wishes otherwise!
lovely chatting with you dan, must go now, almost time for Cobert, he keeps me sane.
g'night Nancy. And mcurlschool, I don't miss snow enough to be under a dozen feet of it! And I have a couple of friends in the Seattle Tacoma area, and they are afraid of flooding rivers right now. One lives in Renton and the other in Seatac itself. All three conditions are scary
I'm about 2.5 hrs southwest, near coast. We are having flooding as well but it's typical every winter for our area, so nothing new. Just have to be careful driving for standing water but we're used to it.
Happens here in San Diego too...the "River" through Mission Valley floods every year leading to a couple of days of news video of people who drove around the barriers because their car floats...OOPS! No it doesn't!
*muses on what it would take to simply make a car float, as opposed to a true amphibious car*
Hi Hursy! You can muse all night, but it never seems to work here.
yeah but... how hard can it be?
based on the video for people stuck in the water and being rescued, pretty hard
either that, or people in San Diego aren't very inventive. I'm 50/50 on that. I know they can't drive very well when it looks like rain, much less if there is actual liquid on the ground
i was hoping you'd recognize the quote :D - something Jeremy, James, & Richard always say on Top Gear/Grand Tour
