Our SIP started on March 30. I know my mom and husband had been staying home longer than that and I was only going out for groceries and the pharmacy. But yes, It does seem like forever.

This past weekend I cleaned out two "junk" drawers, and set aside several pairs of shoes and some clothes to donate to Goodwill. Geesh. I swear that stuff spawns in the closets.
People who live around me seem made of money. I have never seen so many home repairs going on. Roofing, window work, etc.
I don't see any repairs going on in my ratty neighborhood but my grocery store is on the same parking lot as Lowe's Home Improvement. It is always packed!
I think those who are working from home are taking advantage of being able to babysit contractors - and stimulous money.

Tilly was due on 5 May and weighed at birth 7.2 pounds, but, because of the fetomaternal hemorrhage had to be resuscitated and cooled. There is a chance of organ and brain damage but again, the signs are encouraging

LOL! My friend shared that she had finished a puzzle. It was missing two pieces. The dog had eaten them.
to be honest, I pulled 3 things out of the dogs mouth while working on it. 2 of them were circular and much thicker - I'm pretty sure they were the little dots on the bottom of the chair legs to keep them from scratching the floor. the 3rd thing though could have been a puzzle piece but was unrecognizable
but that leaves 3 missing pieces. every time I knocked some off I picked them up.

Yes, I just take scraps and sew them on a muslin foundation. I've been sewing them on the diagonal. Then square it up to 8.5".

from my experience with this one, you should finish one before using your stash with the pattern because this one ended up a little busy since I picked stuff before knowing how it would go together. but it's blues and flowers which my mom likes.
Yes Bea - I am getting lots of stitching done. Mostly wool appliqué - I took what was supposed to be a lap sized quilt and turned the individual 8 squares into wall hangings to give as Christmas gifts. I'm also working a wall sized piece that is all wool.
My string quilt is down in strips of brights...pinks, greens yellows, oranges.
I have one from 2019 that I haven't even started and I wasn't in the FB group so I don't know what this finished pattern looks like.
