82 left, be back in the morning good night all!!
May I please have a clue for te6-18 the last one? Thanks
is it te6, plural?
I don't have it yet, dear one.
plural te5/10, tropical, freshwater fish
I have all 5-10's except the last one.
te6/18: sounds like 80s video game
Thanks, crayola.....I don't know video games.....though.

Thank you both for trying to help me.....brain is tired....will try to come back later.
morning babblers
morning dear one. how are you feeling today?
*hugs rose* Mwah. Still very weak and rob has decided we are moving to the camping this weekend, so lots of things to do. And a little panicky as a result. How are you doing? Glad to be back home?
sort of glad. still in lockdown. what Rob is proposing he wouldn't be allowed to do here. at least not at this moment in the pandemic.
the campings are opening here, but the toilet facilities will remain closed.
phantoms: contest(ers) and content(er)
i am feeling very tired. and lost my appetite. can't finish a meal.
ugh, not good. *healing vibes to you* my dear friend
the ketamine was hell this time. i have an appointment with doc. john re the implant thingy.i'm too ,much of a coward to go through that again. it was really nasty.
I can imagine.
so now you have to pack up your camp site and move on. how do you feel about that? anyway that the kids can come and help? i guess not. what restrictions are you under?
still quite a lot of restrictions, but Tim will come and help as best as he can. We will need to stay 1.5m away from eachother, so that will be a challenge. Taking down the annex and building it back up will be the biggest task and I am hopeful the two men can do that together. I am not yet allowed to do much physically.
and how I feel... panicky and overtaxed, and at the same time aware that that is the exhaustion speaking and not the reality. It will work out. Won't be bad to be in the new place, that is for sure. Great view.
very hard task ahead honey. will pray specifically for this weekend for you all.
much appreciated :) Things are pretty stressy right now. Anyway, I think it is a great idea you go for the implant. Even though there is a risk, but this is terrible and the implant sounds promising.
i think so too. i have the utmost trust in John, you know that. we are going to discuss if we can put it through workcover seeing as it will help with the chronic nerve pain in my knee too.
that would be very good.
oh and have i story to tell you. hang on while i get it down.
sure, am not going anywhere
already did quite a lot of work this morning... talked with my sponsor and two of my sponsees and sorted out two crates of stuff. Enough for now :)
unknown to me Dr John had put in the paperwork to have workcover pay for the PEA med. and i received a letter to say it had been approved. so...i lodged my paid documentation to them, and got a letter back saying not approved. so i rang my vase manager. she was confused and sort out the advice of her medical team. yes, that med. should be paid for by workcover. so i lodged the claim again. and guess what?? another letter to say not payable. i talked to her today. she is quite cross now. with the payments te4. and she is taking it up with her supervisor. really, the left hand doesn't know what the tight hand is doing in there.
they are truly lousy in sorting out their stuff. Am sorry you have to deal with it the whole time.
it amuses me as i didn't know that John had lodged the request, and it is such a bonus if workcover pay for it. and my case manager is trying very hard to help me. it's sort of nice to know that they are the frustrated on4 now.
very true :) And about freakin' time too
eek. just read what you have already done and your day just begun. slow down you hear??
I will! Already have. I just thought, I'd better get it done before I run out of juice.
rob is doing the lion's share of the work.
and how is Rob? still happy with his job? he seemed happier when he wrote his email.
oh yes, he is very happy that it is being definitive now, and it feels really good to be wanted and appreciated for a change. He was due.
wonderful !!
am off to lie down for a bit, honey. *hugs* and lots of love. To Don too. But more to you ;)
lots of love to you both, and a special hug for you sweetie. rest well.

not understanding the te8/9 clue sorry?
Do you know the fish?

the fish is also a prefix meaning "four"
The fish it a te5.10

Good morning, Carla. All doing well out there?

only it wasn't fudge
(mangled movie quote)
I love fudge
yes we know it wasn't fudge
wow, where are all these c's?
If they serve fudge at your mom's salon, I'm there.
I love fudge as well. I bet I have ingredients to make it.
I'd eat a big bowl of it for breakfast with my coffee
(and this is why we don't have fudge in the house)
4th column middle e stats pls?
Mmm! I might have to make some old fashioned fudge for Mother's Day.

Carla, do you make a lot of handbags?
I have made a few. not big ones or very complicated. I guess the hardest one I made was The Cube by Quilts Illustrated I bought at my LQS. I have a few pdf patterns I want to try.
oh, and I did make a bunch for girls in Africa through Sew Powerful
those were just simple crossbody ones though, no hardware or anything
I have a tote full of men's ties. I want to make a messenger bag from them.
there is a lady who has a lot of different style handbag patterns, some free, and her website is so sew easy.
I threw away a ton of neckties back in Jan when I threw away all my panty hose :D
anyone have stats and clues for hte 9s? ty

easy one, I know
unlike the top A
I have finished the top A. lower A is a problem.
all i have is a charged particle
and phantom, ancient
there is an9
al4/4, al5/12
I am those 2, I really meant lower a with 24, sorry
completed the M, Z and the N over in the 5th column...but that's it so far
hmm, what are the 2 z's I'm missing?
ah
I have a, n from top row, c from far right, and e from 4th col. that's it.
zo 4 and 5, easy words
oh, and now the A on the bottom row
ze4/9 and zo4/10 I bet, carla
and now the e on the bottom 4th column
thx, dan. those are the ones. found one, looking for the other
there's a non-ordinary am6/7 combo
wow, the ze took way too long
this bottom row is starting too look pretty complete...L's done :)
def don't have am6/7
still need 2 L's
if you need a clue, let me know on the am
I can guess which Ls you are missing too
what's the point total on the am6?
6/24
oh, please
The L's...think lava flow
got the am's
am, think of forgiveness
stuck ln sa 8 45 ??
don't forget the 7/8 on the am
ah thanks mool

second 7 that is on the am

tx hoke
hurshy sorry...
everyone likes to clue the pretty words
but i still need the other three top A besides that and the charged particle so there is plenty of room for glory remaining
there is an5/6/7
thanks hokie!
which vaguely sounds like one of the British Queen's daughter's ice cream holder :)
well, I hate to miss all this good teamwork but have to get ready for the bike ride. BBL for last 60.
42 left here hoke...just saying
Oooo thanks Hokie
not surprised moo
you will be finished when I get back. and I will be impressed that you finished one this big.
well we'll see, not sure I'll get this one finished
I'm sorry, I'm laughing at the bike ride that is never going to happen : D
what have we got from the top T besides a group of four related TO words?
oh wait i found another, gin and to5
but still wondering bout the other two
yeah, those are the 5 I have so far
oh, the other ones are related too
just longer
a's done - not so bad once you list
The other two sound like diminutive Bennetts. (I Left My Heart In San Francisco)
ty
diminutive Bennets...I left my tiny heart in little san francisco
weren't they a plastic recorder that were used in school music classes aeons ago?
I assumed they were a backing group for a motown era singer :)
so many 6 letter words left
i'm still missing a lot of 8's
the Cs seem hard
having a problem with the ce 8 at the moment
have 6 c's left
ce 8 - a birth
ce 8 is a birth method
thanks
tx cad/bich
had tried the abbreviated, but not extended
Looks like I will be working from home through the end of August. They just extended the campus closure order through then.
mm - not caesarian, unless extremely distorted spelling of that
think american spelling nan
or alternative at least
yes, leave out the second vowel
was on zoom with my daughter yesterday ori -- her uni is doing the entire summer session online with the exception of chem labs
anyone know what the C on the RIGHT is?
It's probably the best thing to do in light of the current situation.
don't have it hurshy, sorry
ce 5/14
thanks nan
yes -- now that she has everything set up for her students it is a bit easier for her. She was upset that 21 of them had cheated on the final exam for the last quarter --- probably not so much that they cheated as that they thought she would be too stupid to catch them at it!
Wow, that is a high number of cheaters. That's awful.
bad kiddens, naughty kiddens
it was in one of the math courses she teaches, so that probably represents 5% of the students if it was a first year compulsory course
ty for the a clue for the ce 8
haven't found it yet, mlf
you had two typos in your guess nan
found it
thought it was spelled cae though
it is in the "english" speaking world
in the american it is not
cyber i was a bit questionable about its spelling so i googled it
i think even in america we use the A a lot of the time
it is true hursh, but generally speaking the ae and oe gets contracted to just e in most cases
yeah, but there are some where we still use it, like we mostly do put amoeba, not ameba (cringe at the very thought)
first co 7/36 please?
well, this will show if mine is the first or not
people who mint money?
lol
it ends in a ce word for money
hurshy i have co 7/36 x 3
ok, i need all of those
lol
got one
got another
ty - didn't even consider that one
got the third!
but the one i clued was 7/32
only 3 i know
the first 7/36 looks like a misspelling of giving co7 to a medical procedure
yes
OC 5 clue pls?
it's a babblet
no idea hurshy

oh gez ty hurshy
ea 9 please? direction extended from the 7?

if you start to get up it might move
well i know she will move
that is the problem, i hate to disturb her
i hate doing it to my cat too
you have to understand how extremely cute and lovable this kitten is. she's just a little angel.
is that really a reason hurshy?
:)
i love her soooooo much
sucker lol
i gtg will be back..
21 to go, into the tough ones now...especially considering 14 of those are 6+ letters long
se 7/32 please?
nm - monkeyed it
Latin gets me every time
it would have helped to be a botanist
I would have loved to become an arborist, but I don't think I could have hacked the Latin involved.

Hi all any clues please for the ea7/28 s
The Importance of Being Ea7/28
well they stem off of a 4
I always wondered why it was so important to be Ea7. Isn't it important to be Thomas too? And William? : D
Thank you
Just like I always wonder why people want to be Frank with me :)
*Wonders if Hurshy peed her pants for the sake of a cat
I guess it's just some wilde idea some irishman came up with

plural of musical performance
Why do the heavens go to Betsy?

yw!
LOL Molly!
I guess one can only speculate why they go to the john
meaning to disrespect to present company, why does only Molly get coddled?
I don't know, but Johnny is often on the spot
And what makes Lolly gag?
: D Ding ding Pastor J
Yes, but for some reason we don't know Jack
I meant "meaning NO disrespect!
Why is Parker so nosy
And is Bob everyone's uncle?
Perhaps Tom knows, he's always peeping
Why isn't Ru chiming in? He'll Ru the day he missed this thread!
One could also wonder why Paul always gets Peter's valuables
Is Peter ever in? Or is he always out?
And why were Tom, Dick and Harry singled out....
why is Jack always on by back?
Is Robin fat? Is that why she's round?
Stan is making so many plans
Is Riley the only one with a life?

still 56 left. will only pass you when I go to the list. 12 left is pretty impressive
tx, been a grind as you'd expect
can't believe I missed the musical show(s). had been trying to make the 2nd syllable of that a word all morning.
stats for any of the 9s pls
an9
ea9...and the last one is te9, though I don't have that one yet
the 2 upper t's I'm missing - are they related to the gin mixer or the to4?
to the to4
yeah, seems the te9 goes with an 8 and I know how they start based on earlier clues but haven't found.
although I guess that could be a "little" misleading
not seeing, is little a clue since you have it in quotation?
I seldom say things without meaning
and what are the stats?
to7/28 and to 8/40
ok, was definitely not trying to make words that big. :D thx
indeed
it's funny to make it little you have to make it big
still not seeing anything. moving on!
will your last comment bring ru out of the woodwork?
he's missed other opportunities today
oh boy, got that sa8 finally...
do tell
sounds like a former middle eastern culture fishing utensil
uhh, moving on!
apologies for being obtuse
hard word to clue
probably need to look for a different angle
that's acute idea
right
well to a certain degree anyway
well let's do a 180 here - did you finish the i's?
perhaps try a new tangent?
still have an i to go
I still have 4 but not seeing them
probably should just go to the list
well it should be easy with 4 i's
still have 55 total words
all the i's I have a regular words
7 4's, guess I'll work on that
one remaining 4 for me...11 words overall
if you melt icecream do you get icestream?
icesteam that is
definitely on a co4
oh, my answer was for your 1st ?, not your revision
just found 1st ic4 - eye roll
heh
hey, finished the o! :D
I scream?
still need 9 c's :<
1 c for me
might be a couple of c4s that you're missing perhaps
or maybe you already have them...depends if you like the anagramming
prob since I have 6 4's left and IDK where they could be.
just found length x width - hard eye roll again
oh yeah, there's the other a4 that I often miss too
still have 3 a's to go
also didn't have ar5/10
because I can't look backwards
they often go together those two
I have 4 a's left, 3 from the big tile and 1 below it
all three of mind are from the second column
mind=mine
ah, there's the last n
noice
yeah, just the te8/9 combo to go for the longest words
I think I'm going to the list so you better work faster ;)
hah
still have 10 to go, 8 of them are 6+ in length soooo
make that 9 and 7
well, I have stumbled over the first 2 a's on the list
and...another hard eye roll at one of the a's
indeed
were you lost on that one?
lost out on a boat
yep, was tempted to clue that one
only 1 of the missing c's was a 4...the rest look impossible.
and I still didn't get 2 a's, but moved on
well, found 2 i's while trying to make up c words
nice
amnic
thank you, that was one I couldn't find!
well aj, that helped me to one of the words I was missing
8 to go
and a second word...7 to go
and that's the a's done
still not seeing the am6 that you just found
got it
was about to clue it, glad you found it
finished the c. spent way too long on a real word
because I can't read backward
heh
in9: innersent (opp of guilty) enable says "innersent" was not found in the dictionary
well, my missing 2 L's that you tried to clue for me earlier - that is new to me
:D HH
oh, well you need to study your volcanology ;)
I need to study a lot of sciences for this game
yes, anatomy is very popular, including of non-human creatures
botany and chemistry too
and of course botany
and global finance
the anatomy gets me.
the front pincers of insects, in particular
yes, and letters from various alphabets
well see your leg bone is connected to your ankle bone
boston's longest serving mayor is in teh grid
inventor of the radio too
yes!
former talk show host
letterman?
paar?
carson?
conan?
oh he's still going :)
arsenio
oh yes, and if you modify that slightly....
ah ty carla for ar6
conan has a podcast that is one of my favorites
and don't forget the poison with old lace
looks like HH found it :)
and ar7!
yes, nothing like a bit of heavy metal while playing babble
I thought I was able to make an adjective out of that, but guess not
that would be arsenine :)
yeah - tried it. 3 times.
I swear I have never found te6 (part of seesaw) without a list. why can I not see that word?
how brits spell assanine ;)
I still have a 4 to find
I guess the "what happens when you assume things" joke doesn't work for them
I still have 1 4 as well
nm, found it
still 83 to find here. including 18 4s.
6 to go
of course, my nemesis
I'm surprised bea didn't point it out to me this morning
btw, the te8/9 comes off the corner
yeah, I know the first 5 letters and still haven't found it
ugh, first pass through list and moo is still beating me - 8 to go here
6 to go...sorry hoke
have all the 4s and 5s tho
same
80. bbl to list!
bye HH
5 to go
I'm never going to get these 2 t combos that you have already. going to have to look them up.
want a clue on the top one?
well you gave me a bunch earlier but I am too slow
Different angle...promise
think french small
or diminutive
but start with the stem you already have
no french here and small makes me think tiny which is not to. just too slow. are these real words?
sometimes used for feminine
especially with smurfs
the ending that is
ok...I think I've got it. just have to type it in.
ok, whew. thx.
:)
no worries, sometimes it takes a different angle
easy to get stuck in a particular line of thinking
if you had just said the end or smurfs earlier :D
thank,moo
yes, that's why I wish we could rotate this board too, so you don't get stuck looking at the same things
i want "sentence"
5 left now. all 7+ letters
gtg,yard took a cou
I also wanted sentence and concrete
yard took hours today. i'm beat. bbl
bye
I have two 6s, a 7 and then the 8/9 combo
I thought you had found the 8/9?
nope
haven't been looking lately
I have a 7, the sa8, and the 8/9
just looked up my 7, botany of course. never seen it before
is that the se7?
yep
someone mentioned a botanic se7
I'm missing it
and now looked up the sa8
yeah the 8 is the one I tried to clue before
and looked up the last 2 for fireworks
#noshame
congrats hoke
thx. don't like to look up that many but oh well.
4 to go...
can i have a clue for the an 9 word please?
I only have one an word so ar
Do you still need the se7?
far
I could use that se7!
i have 2 se6, but no 7s
an 9....family history adjective
AN9 family descendents.
ends like actor del toro
se7 that is
thanks, I'll work on that...
Se 4/4 before it + most of the italian word for goodbye.
ah, thanks!!
yoicks, well 3 to go
and when I say "ends like" I mean, it is the entire word except the first letter
sorry, moo
s'ok, probably not getting that without the clue anyway
and I knew the starting letters anyway
guess I should work on that 8/9 combo
once I looked it up, I realized I should've gotten the ending, if that helps
science-y
got the se! thanks :)
Nice one!
hello all....can someone please clue the en 6/21?....
sounds like a mad movie that had Brendan Fraser in it :)
where he played a caveman who was brought forward in time
California live oak.
or rather he was thawed out from some ice
hmmm....
spanish feminine ending if that helps
EN + first three of where you go to watch the movies + vowel.
ty, zooz and mool.....found it...
TITT.. ;o)
have one c6 remaining....
how many ce6 do you have?
have one
maybe the one that looks pl.
oh, it's archaic, what a surprise
I have the plural
the other one is a latin pl. there is a vitamin brand of the sing.
well the latin plural one :)
the co 6 that sounds like the movie barbarian but with a vowel on the end?
the poison? have that
ok, then you are missing the archaic one that looks pl. but doesn't have a sing.
never mind, found the other one
well done!
so now I'm just left with the te8/9
oh, thought you were finished ;)
nope, not quite :)
tough grid for me
102 left and stuck
te8 is a fish + french for the sea.
lot of oddish words in this one fr sure
think chemistry. four of something. ending is same as an is- word we have quite a bit.
oh geez
well was going a completely different direction with that one
well fw with some assists at the end there thanks
now kudos!
well still, pretty decent showing, about 5 clues on that one, plus starting letters on a couple
oh and the accidental one that was placed into chat..which gave me the other word as well
ah yes, I was thankful for that one :D
yeah, was a twofer
Im not getting the te8 fish clue lol
there is a common aquarium fish that is here a lot. te5/10
got it lol
yeah, that's how I felt too
holy cow... lol
same
that makes 2 9s that I have, hte an and te...
or should I say sa4
then you're looking for the e9
which at least is an ordinary word too
I guess you could say I am one
lol
I'm about as e9 as you can get on this planet....
although not right now
only where I was born and grew up
I'm more the opposite now
me 6 anyone?
someone who takes pity on people? :)
ugh....another TITT...ty....
and you may want to explore adding a letter before it
just in case
and then you might to take that word and maybe think of the action versus the doer
just to be thoro
yes, ty, mool....i did have the other similar word....
cool
is the SA 8 a compound word?
ars
mare
No.
no, pen. I had to eventually look it up. not sure how to clue.
ty....can someone please clue the ce 8?
crusadee fishing utensil?
lost me....sorry....
ce8 is a type of birth,
sorry the one I was clueing was the sa8
ah....ok....ty, carla....got that one....
i am done....your clue worked for me, mool...ty
thanks pen, glad it did...a bit of a stretch, but best I could come up with
well i am heading out....goodnight all.....
night pen
good evening!
There's the other Maryland girl. Are you enjoying this nice day?
well, I enjoyed my drive home... And I had a nice walk in the morning prior to going to work. It was foggy then, but still nice.
How about you, Molly? Have you enjoyed this lovely day?
well, my county has come up with a solution for high school graduations. drive-in movie type of ceremony at charlotte motor speedway infield. then each car drives to the finish line on the track for the processional and receive your diploma.
That is a clever idea, Carla!
Our state has decided no going back to the class room for the rest of this academic year. Not sure about any graduation decisions
my husband & I both think it sounds awesome and wish our junior was a senior. LOL. of course there are complainers on the social media posts.
No way are you going to make everyone happy! It is too bad
yeah, NC is not going back either
help with re8 pls
I have no 8's yet...
think of old albums being re-done
... to re learn an old skill again ....
.... actuallly it means to take an original recording and redo it by bringing the original reocrding upto current technological standards
not getting either clue
.... then ... re + head of the household
do you have the MA 6/21?
I have two ma6/21 but I think I know which one to use
got the re8 ty both
woo hoo! I just grayed a box! the N 4...
lase
opps. So sorry
No problem, though next time add a word I don't already have, if you could...
It's sad for all the seniors who will miss prom and graduation and all the traditional rites of passage. It's not a brave new world, it's a sad one.
It'd be great if they were offered something similar in a year's time - not quite the same but it'd be a closure or rite of passage of a some sort.
me 6/7 pls?
a dealer in fabrics. also if you're familiar with cotton thread, sometimes it is me6ized
Thanks :)
I guess I should've found that as I have a similar word beginning with an a.
yes, the A one took me a while
Funny - I remembered that one from other grids, though I thought it might have a double m.
yippe! a 2nd tile grayed! the E 4. lol
WTG! Good to read that you and your family are all well now, phan.
Thank you, Liz! Apparently at work all the employees, (I work in a nursing home) will have to be tested. I wonder if that includes ones that have previously been tested. It will be interesting to see if I still come up positive.
That would be interesting.
phandmd, are you having an antibody test or the nasal swab?
my friend that had it tested positive still after recovering. not sure if she is back at work or not. she is a speech path. at or near the hospital with like rehab patients
Fireworks. Any clues before I go?
problem is, we are already a CoVid positive facility and if an employee tests positive, even if they are asymptomatic, they will have to be sent home for 10 days! We had a patient test who had no symptoms, test positive 30 days later!
I guess it's possible that many people will always carry it - even if they
CH1212, When it is available, I would be happy to be tested for antibodies.
they've recovered.
I think so too!
WOW - I did not realize it is possible to still be positive that long. My husband and I were just tested for antibodies yesterday. We were both sick with classic COVID19 symptoms in January, but didn't go to the doctor. Our health department appreciates as many people as possible getting the antibody test so they can figure out where the virus has been, and saturation rates for the county.
Yeah. The patient went to the hospital for surgery, so he was tested and it came back positive! It is crazy! He never had much in the way of symptoms, but was positive 30 days ago.
Have a good day everyone. Or evening if it's that time where you are :) Stay safe.
you too.
bye bye
I want to get the antibody test when it's avail. and more accurate. I was sick in Feb. with a bad cough for a week, then I was okay for a week, and then sick again for another week. my friend is convinced I had it, even though it wasn't supposedly here yet.
hokie, ours was free through LabCorp. We just called our doctor and requested it be called in. Easy peasy!
that's cool!
I kept seeing on local news commercials "where to get the antibody test now" but then I didn't see the local news. :D
that's annoying.
There are a number of home test kits, but there is also chatter about unreliability. We read that LabCorp would do it free with a doctor's order. Turned out that both our doctors (different clinics) offer them. My doctor uses LabCorp, so that was a bonus.
Wine on the patio is calling. Have fun! Be safe.
good night!
too cold here for outside drinking today, oddly
Here too, there is a frost warning in place for tonight.
I got to 97 words left. I am thinking of ending it now...
Don't end it Phan! Don't jump! Life is worthwhile! : D
was thinking of a similar joke - sounded dire indeed
I have 120 and I am starting to lose the will to live :)
lol.
*Sends out life lines to Phan and Sukee
It looks like it should be easier :)
hello! Figures - just getting to babbling now, and it's a biggie!
At least I found the Zs

That stinks
she was looking forward to it
We loved it there. Have thought about moving back various times in the last 25 years.
