We are in summer and in light lockdown - masks and sanitising of hands is mandatory and no large gatherings of more than 100 people - but winter will come again

Job losses are very high and I think worse is coming as businesses just dont cope with the financial losses during hard lockdown - very worrying

same here urshy. a lot of small traders going under. i wish we could do more for them. the government has instituted huge payments by way of financial support but it is still not enough. i feel utterly heartsick for the young struggling families.

i wouldn't want to be one of the world leaders at this time. so many decisions to make and no guarantee that that is the correct decision. people in my state are likening our premier to a dictator. he is only trying to keep as many people safe as possible. granted he has made one colossal mistake which cost us nearly 800 lives, but he is literally flying by the seat of his pants.

no, min. we have just re-opened. we have had no new cases for some time. one small cluster on the other side of our Melbourne.
kids thrilled to be back. re-building their social networks is doing them so much good. our senior students start their final exams in 4 weeks.
