I've been getting political text messages for Robert & Janie for over a year. Then in the last few months I've been getting them for R&J asking if I want to sell my house at ****. I googled the street address and saw there was one in Columbia, SC, but couldn't find any info....
then one day, I got one that said something about ohio, so I did some digging and found the owner of that one was named Robert & his wife was Janie and they actually live in Charlotte metro area.
Actually Robert just died at the end of August. But I really want to know why they gave my phone number that I've had since c. 1995 out to all these places.

Oh, I forgot to say they had a friend in jail at the time and were using my landline to accept charges to talk to him... that phone bill ($400ish) was never reimbursed...

Normally I'd read through the middle of a comment, but when people are clueing, I look at the first words and determine if it's going to be a clue and then avoid the rest as best as I can

When there's random clues being thrown out, I inevitably see the clues, but when there's this more intense set of clueing, it's easier to avoid

okay, got my camera card formatted. now to get it back in the woods. I will say the strap that came with this broke a couple of years ago so I just found a black ribbon about that size and have been using that. maybe I'll look for something else in my sewing room right now.

i had used a friend's Nikon to take landscapes for our eclipse expedition so he rebuilt one for me.
We have hognoses and garter snakes in the general area, but none in our yard yet

oh, there's rattle snakes around too, not that I've seen any yet...and my daughter and I have gone looking
not specifically for rattle snakes, but for snakes generally
we have chipmunks here. every once in a while I see them scurry around our pool, but have not caught any on camera.
it is being jmade into a video, hopefully before the next ecli;se or my demise.

When I lived in PA, I had this little barrel water garden, and I'd get chipmunks fall in and drown :(
yeah, we have copperheads here. and rattlesnakes in the state, I think they are at higher elevations though
oh no! i never saw a chipmunk until about 6 years ago, right outside Phila.
my aunts moved to NNJ near NY State and at the time it was heavily wooded and rocky. there were mines in the hills.
one day last year we had 2 teenage girls steal a golf cart and drive it down beside our house and get stuck in the woods and then the golf course people came in from the course (on the other side of the house) to retrieve it and I got none of that on camera!

I am teaching fully remote this year, origami, on the advice of my allergist. It would not have been a good thing if I caught this disease with my multiple health issues.

I am so worried for several of my colleagues with even more serious health issues who didn't feel they could request remote assignments, or weren't able to be accommodated. I wake up sometimes worrying.
If anything was lucky in this awful year, it was that I was able to work remotely with mcurl as back-up on the ground for me. Since I cannot be in the building much (have been there once in the last two months) it has been a comfort that she knows where things are and can help corral things for me.
I just worry that it's going to wear her out!

i had planter poles a while back. it was terrific. you braced it between your ceiling and floor. the hooks for the planters were counter-balanced. it gave me heaps of room, no horizontal surfaces used.
I have a plan though... I want to put some shelves IN the window wells so the plants get a little more light. The orchid like the area under the skylight better than the windows.

i have clay soil. years ago i laid down several layers of newspaper, covered it to about 8 inches thick with sugar cane straw. the whole lot composted down and now i have the richest garden baeds, soil wise.
some vining varieties do okay. bushes don't . we sometimes transplant wild roses from the woods.
Reston, a place i used to live, is n the grid today.
ours is brown clay. would lime help at all do you think? or am i teaching my garndmother (metphorically) to suck eggs.
