No, she didn't fall. She has been doing some chair excersies and she thinks she may have pulled a muscle. But, she has severe osteoperosis and you know how that is in the elderly.
scrabs, my daughter has been appointed to the clinical guidelines committee of the emergency nurses association - i'm very proud. AND, she'd been accepted into her first choice phd program!

I bought some tiny pawpaw trees last spring and put tomato cages covered in netting around them. they are like tiny twigs. my game camera caught a deer sticking her nose in the netting to eat that, when there are twigs everywhere!

I saw my mom yesterday, her gait has really worsened, she walks terribly knock kneed even tho she has had both knees replaced.
Mom has been using her walker a lot lately because her knees have been bothering her.
Does your mom do any exercises? Can she walk around her facility?
Yes to both.
She walks around with her walker or a shopping cart. She goes to balance/gait class with a therapist 2x/week.
I went to balance class and they told me to cut back on drinking
I tripped over her walker last week. Fell hard on my right kneecap. Still difficult to climb up or down stairs.
if you went to drinking class they'd tell you not bother balancing. Who you gonna believe?
