hello everyone

12:07 am

hi, nan

12:08 am

2 words, gillie

12:08 am

ru7

12:09 am

It's commonly used as one word to describe bathrooms, for instance (Although it is 2 words in French, of course)

12:10 am

But maybe that's recent usage

12:11 am

or just a really common mis-spelling

12:11 am

In French, ensuite (one word) means then or later.

12:14 am

Yes, but "en suite" means "in the suite", and it is commonly used as one word in English

12:15 am

I've never seen it as 2 words in English either.

12:15 am

I have never seen it as one word

12:17 am

Lots turns up in English if you google either one (including the question "Is ensuite one word or two?")

Clues are up

12:20 am

ty lickety

12:20 am

thanks, lickety

12:20 am

not doubting you Gille, Was just saying that I had only seen it as two words

12:22 am

Sometimes I give up on the grid because I find too many French words that of course are not accepted.

12:22 am

annoying isn't it? especially when so many other languages are accepted

12:23 am

I was also hoping "clutzy" would be accepted, although I admit I've never seen that spelling

12:23 am

major annoying

12:23 am

snog

12:24 am

uh oh

12:25 am

Rain - I recently used that word to my g/kids and they had no idea what I was talking about ?!

12:26 am

I was in Germany with a choir when someone in the group commented that "kaput" seems to be a word that's understood everywhere. Then somebody else said, what language is it, anyway?

12:27 am

Snog - I didn't know either till a few years ago, lol.

It is spelt as en suite and not ensuite.

What do you suppose my missing top E is if I have the needlecase(s)?

That'll be the one - thank you!

5:59 am

I can relate

5:59 am

You're grand, it happens.

5:59 am

So weird and worrying

6:02 am

Well, I can procrastinate no longer, I need to put my bits of shopping away. It's snowing at the minute but it's actually warmer than yesterday. Enjoy babble!

6:17 am

Lots of early shoppers at the grocery store today. People are trying to get ahead of the snow/ice storm that is on the way. And pick up a few things for Valentine's Day ♥

6:19 am

And I will go open the PB bar now.

7:03 am

hello

7:06 am

7:19 am

Place your bets. How many times will the term "en suite" be discussed today? (Already twice, I think)

7:20 am

And I am already in the PB tending bar.

7:37 am

I'm not going to discuss it. Probably won't have the chance with the electro on and off...

7:38 am

electricity problem or a storm?

7:38 am

we have rain here

7:42 am

i have tr 8 the plural of the tr7 ..clue for the other tr 7 pls?

7:46 am

There is only one tr7

7:47 am

And if you have the first tr8, the second one is not hard to figure out

7:47 am

Good morning, Molly.

7:48 am

Rain or ice for you, Bea? It's hard to tell from the radar map

7:48 am

Both.

7:49 am

Yeah, it is creeping slowly our way.

7:49 am

I was going to spend the day in the kitchen. But Iguess I wont.

7:50 am

When I took the dog out, I could hear transformers blowing all over. Ours hasn't gone yet.
