I think ages 12-15 are in current studies now. Pfizer vaccine is for 16+ now. The American Academy of Pediatrics is pushing for testing on all kids rather than in 3-year cohorts one at a time.

I will be eligible on st. patrick's day.
In NYS, Tdap is due for 6th grade, MCV4 (meningococcal vaccine) is due for 7th grade, and HPV is not required but is recommended.

I have to double check but I think we did Tdap early because she had to get a bunch of inoculations done for our trip last year to Ethiopia and Egypt. We got back RIGHT before everything shuttered

the same Saturday where all the flights from Europe had to get extra screening and people were in those huge lines we had landed direct from Cairo and just had normal immigration/customs checks. In retrospect it was cutting it super close

Good news, I finally got into affordable housing and I'm moving in June. Just in time since I turn 65 this November.
I was on the list for 5 years.
Great, sukee.
My rent here is almost $1,000 a month and this will be a lot cheaper.
Very good.
And It's a ground floor apartment and I know a few people who live in the building and in the neighbouring building.
Now all the stress of moving next...
What a project.
I passed halfway so I am done. I have to work this afternoon. Enjoy the day.

Just read the chat -- are you folks getting vaccinated on a first come first serve basis? or have all the health care and essential workers and super seniors already been vaccinated? We are just starting to get our first shots after all of the above and assisted living/nursing homes. The 90+ year olds can get their first shots next week

Hi cyber! In my state (MN), they started with people 70+, then added some essential workers (health care workers, teachers, etc.) Now that those folks have mostly been vaccinated, they’re opening it to larger groups of people. It looks like it’ll be available to everyone at some point in April.
elderly and esential workers are done here i dont know what group they are doing now
in az it is 65 and older, all essential workers, all medical, all teachers, all nursing home and assisted living.
there are several 24hr vaccination sites in the state
our teachers are not included in essential workers, neither are cooks, taxi and bus drivers, grocery store clerks and I think they should be.
our biggest problem is getting enough vaccine

Teachers are essential enough for people to scream about them to stop "being lazy" and get to school. My company is making us work from home until at least June; guess that makes me lazy
The teachers are demanding shots before going bak into the classroom, but it is tough. There isn't enough vaccine coming in yet and the elderly and those with health issues come first, as well as hospital workers and in some cases, indigenous people as they are more susceptible
yes, my son's company has had all but their retail peronnel and essential technicians working remotely for over a year now.
very small county in KS,,,, they started with our LTC and health workers, anyone over 70, now I think that age has lowered.... the schools have been open all fall and up to now,,, no outbreaks,, maybe 2 or 3 kids were infected, several teachers, the teachers are being vaccinated I think it is a lot easier in smaller communities and even in smaller states

I have not heard anyone referring to those who work from home as lazy.
both my daughters ~ one at Children's Mercy in KC and another at a Tribal Nations in OK have worked from home for a year ~ they both say they are more productive working from home? I guess less distractions
I've been working from home and I have definitely been more productive at home. I can get 8 hours work done in about 6 - not having to share copier/printer, no coworkers interrupting me, and I can choose what time I work - when I'm most productive is early morning before anyone else is awake. I'm not planning to go back to the office.
in Virginia all essential workers (similar definition as other states) and seniors 65+ have had the opportunity to get the jab. Now we are also inoculating younger adults with underlying risk factors that could make them get it worse, on a first-registered basis, based on supply of doses.
Covid has changed so much, but working is one of the good changes....the daughter in OK is moving to Colorado and is going to be able to keep her job ~~~
I switched jobs last May and have never been to my company's office or met my coworkers in person. I am looking forward to some chances to do that, but won't be trying to regularly commute to an office

Maybe whilst you have babble open if you use the mouse pointer and go onto the top of the page where it has babble home page and drag it onto the task bar it will save it on there. All you would have to do is click on it to open babble.

Well to create an icon on your windows desktop - assuming that's what you have - then go to your desktop, right click your mouse, do "New" then "Shortcut", then type playbabble.com in the "location" box. You can then rename your icon and change the picture if you want
