Morning all. Is the io related to the charged particle, the element in salt or something else entirely, please/
It begins with the charged particle, Matty, and ends with om 4/5
Thanks Soodle - got it now!
You’re welcome Matty. How’s things in Windsor?
Re8 clue please?
Past tense of the guy with the whistle at the game Une
Tx!!!
You’re welcome Une! How’s things in Nashville?
Sweltering
Ugh.
Gotta go. Hopefully be back later. Po 4/7. 😉
Byeeee
May I have stats, please, for the D in the lower left corner?
Ah, Soodle! Things are good - we came back yesterday from 5 days in Devon - it was lovely trip (the Airbnb had cats!) but the drive back was epic - what should have been a bit under 4 hours was in fact over 7
Found that D. Strange word.
do7/52 it was.
Obscure, obsolete Middle English variation of the lower prison part of a castle. Typical Babble word.
I shall try to drop it in conversation.
I try not to drop words like that in conversation. It makes people look at me funny, and back away slowly.
Fw!!
People do that to me anyway, I'm used to it
that do7 sounds like a Port-a-Potty
It is the name of an east coast port-a-potty company, not spelled the same.
not getting the do word at all
me either mlfan. maybe it's strictly on the coast.
two men's names, then pluralize
i googled it and nothing came up
not that specific at least
the men's names rhyme
thx, scrabs
ty scrab got them
I couldn't see past "doody"
i did try that too just as a word
I need to go. Enjoy the grid.
If you do a Google search on Virginia port a potty company it comes right up
well you didn't say VA
Like I said, it is NOT SPELLED THE SAME
I forgot there was a movie named that with joseph gordon levitt
It's also a misspelling of the prison in a castle.
still never heard of the port a potty
I wonder what my two missing 7s are...(I have the weird DO, the re7/8 combo and the io7...)
I have a pe7.32
I only have the do7. how many points is the io7?

May I have a nudge, please, on the PE7?
sy 5 clue pls?

It's a churcy word, mlf
church-y, I mean
pe7 ends with charged atom
does the io7 word have a chemistry start to it - either the purple element or a particle?
Thanks Bea!

That re7 is a more than, Carla.
All the 7s done - 2 more sixes to find

hi lynxx - been watching a show called escape from the city -- interesting to see something of your country.
can't get over the prices though -- and I thought our market was high!
Hi. Yes I catch that occasionally - nice to see the country. House prices here are very high, hard for young couples to buy in to. Even the country ones are sky rocketing with everyone wanting to get away from cities and COVID - and now that it is easier to work from home with better broadbacd
The house price increase is happening here in the UK too.
yes - ours have increased considerably in the last 2 years. We have been doing really will with covid until the last 2 weeks. All of a sudden we are the worst area in the province. Things opened up and all the tourists arrived bringing the delta variant with them. The ministry of health has upped the restrictions again, so hopefully things will improve.
* between reinstated travel restrictions and wildfire smoke maybe the tourists will stay home.
The World seems to be struggling with Delta - lieterally half of our population has been in lockdown in the past few weeks
Tourists ? what are they?
i'm coming next summer nan
to the Okanagan, ru?
. Goodnight all
no.. going to Tofino and maybe Point Renfro
sleep well, lynxxx
have never been to Tofino, but our kids like to go there
really lovely there..
I'm taking a few friends
I guess the last thing you want to see on holiday is more vineyards and more wine.
i will do the Okanagan some day for sure.. I maybe when I'm staying up near the border

sorry : io 7 = io + alaska city + consonant
thanks nan! except my io is an io 7, got it from your clue though
Snap nan!

nan I am so sorry to hear your husband is unwell. hope you have some peace and lots of help.
10 4's and 10 5's -- you would think they would be easy to find

Any clues or stats on the non-plural fo5? :)
I swear I went through every five-letter combo I could think of, but apparently the game doesn't recognize "fojds."
the two fo 5 words are both pl
both 5/18
Okay...I thought there was another that's not.
(Note to self: coin the term "fojds.")
i need two n words
I have five and they're all no4 and no5

Got another one. :) I'm 6/7 on the Ns.
same here
I'm at 45 and am stepping away for the time being. Hasta!
do yo u have no 5/12?
The NO 5/12 looks kinda like Spock's real last name
hi iggy, are you still here
Hi, Frenchy
are you talking about the actor's last name
yes
hmmm
got it, but that's a stretch
you mean "great clue!"
ha! no
how would you clue that weird word?
French-ish for not me
"not me" in broken French
no + French for me
I thought Spock was more interesting - make people work a little for it
i actually googled Spock's last name, the character not the actor. If you want a good laugh, take a look.
what the! Hurt yourself trying to pronounce that!
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
so Spock is actually his last name (?)

I had to look up Higgidah. Apparently it's Hebrew for "jubilant" - but maybe Molly just meant it as a funny way of saying HAGD?
Mazel Tov

Hi all. Any clues for the 8 or the 7s?
Got sevens. Just please send stat for the 8 and a clue if you have one. Ty.
do7 - old word for mispronunciation of deep places prisoners were once thrown into. Io7 - a type of plastic.PE7 - a French father and a charge particle.Re7 - more Barrier sea thing like.2 re7 - the man who sorts out what is what during football or boxing matches.
*chargeD particle, that should say.
An re8/60 word is the past tense of an re7/40 word mkg.
Hello there Jacula & mkg! How are you guys doing today?
re8/60 is the past tense for what the sport sorter outer does.
Hi Min. Long time no see! I hope your are well? x
A sport sorter outer? Hmm. Notg sure what that is. Anything else to help me jac? And hi.
mkg - who sorts out if a free kick is needed or if it was a goal in football?
mkg,re 8/60 word is past tense of people in striped shirts on the field of a football or soccer game.
The re7/40 often says it's offside or gives a red or yellow card to players.
Ty. Now i know who they are. But isnt that with a U?
A U? Nope!
GOT IT. Wrong term. I was thinking umpire. Sorry. Got it now. Ty.
There is no U in the re 8/60 word. I will play re 8/60 now and send Jacula off to the Penalty Box!
That's probably down to referred pronunciation from wherever you are from.
Need two more clues. For the O and the D first column please. Stats and clues please. Ty. Unless they are 4s.
What have you put in the penalty box for me, Minver? Anything nice to eat? ;)
A re 7 can send you anywhere right?
A do 6/36 eotf sort of sounds like Do* *uan DeMarco mkg.
A do6/36 word sort of sounds like Do* *uan DeMarco mkg.
Ty. Got the do word.
Any clues for the o word for the o right on top of the D? Ty
do6 and 7 are what I said re old mispronunciations of de4/6 cellars to put prisoners in. The O woord you seek, (o6.27?) is probably from Willa Wonka & The CHocolate Factory - the little blue people. I would mention brass bands to you, but since you are not Britishthat probably wouldn't work.
I got it jac. From your clue. So ty. Even us americans sometimes gets it. Ty.
I remember those people well.
Ty all and see you tomorrow.
Well done, MKG!
Everyone done now?
Conratulations mkg on your fireworks display! Good for U
Since mkg just got fireworks, I will enter my last one now
I am finished! I have fireworks! ha 6/24 was my last word
Fireworks for MInver. *~*~*~*
I do not think anybody needs clues, but there is a story in my profile in case anybody needs to read in next 30 min.
Thank you Jacula!
I'm off to dreamland! Bye Babblers! See ya when I see ya!
