yeah, lighting is problematic. We're having severe drought on the west coast - so lighting starts fires :( I was supposed to go to Lake Almanor next week, but it's engulfed in the Dixie Fire. And more lightning possible in the next couple of days.
We get one or more storms a day here this time of year.
and the pole was hit yesterday and fell.
that's unfortunate
i grew up roughly an hour from where i live now. At least one tree a summer always got hit.
