hokie, when you motorhome a long distance, do you ever use harvest hosts or boondockers welcome for overnight stays?
mr. homie has signed up for harvest hosts but we haven't used it yet. you can't really use it for planning as you have to wait til the day before to see if there's any availability.
I've seen a lot of people like it though
some let you book ahead of time
i signed up, but found that, at least for the time being, it's not really compatible with the canadian routes we're planning
interesting. he must have just seen it on the ones he was looking at.
