I have never been to Florida, but curious about why it's considered a retirement paradise, because of hurricanes, tornadoes, gators, swamps, bugs, extreme humidity, etc. Florida is often in the news because of extreme weather issues.

especially in southern florida, you can wear short sleeves almost year round

we are painting trim, which is horrible on its own, but I taped the walls so I wouldn't get trim paint on them and for some reason the paint in my sewing room all peeled off when I removed the tape. I wanted to cry. then I noticed 2 of my coats that we had removed from a closet managed to get paint on the sleeves, so then I wanted to cry again.
that sounds terribly deflating for sure
and we ran out of trim paint so I had to go get some more today.
all that work, and then to find the coats
I think my car knows how to drive to the local Home Depot and Lowes by itself
and I have to figure out how to fix my sewing room wall
generally I have to make at least three trips to finish a project

yeah, at our old house we are very close to Lowe's but here we have to drive 20+ min to get to Lowe's or HD

I painted my movie room a fairly dark purple
painted a light lavendar/lilac dining room in Florida, also a darkish turquoise bedroom
I'd love to paint pretty much every room in this house...daunted by the work it would take
the previous owners had all the trim painted in a very yellow darker neutral and it looks horrible. I found a can of SW crisp linen, so I think it's that. seems to match my color deck. but it is super yellow and looks horrible. so i have to paint it.
the bright fuschia pink hallway though, that got repainted
