Sue, please forgive me for calling you Rose last night.
I think I'll go to sleep now. Happy babbling, y'all!
night, seain
good night, seain
Rain - you brought back some pleasant memories, so please don’t apologise!
Thank you Sue !
HOET
What memories sue?
Of the days when grannyrose and sprite chatted on here, ru.
What happened to gra
What happened to GR?
I’ve seen her on here recently, but not sprite.
seems like I've seen sprite in the last 6 mos
Oh you scared me. You scared me for a second sue
Apologies, ru!
It is ok. Whew
and i am here my friends.
Hey Gr
i haven't been chatting as i wasn't very good company for a time
hey ruru
my 37 year old son, fit and, we thought healthy, had a stroke 2 months ago.
Oh. I hope things are better
Oh, rose - it’s so good to see you!
oh, rose, (((hugs)))
he's on the improve.
hey Sue, rbud
Rose, that’s dreadful. How’s he doing?
That’s pretty young for a stroke
I'm glad to hear he's improving, rose
no physical deficit. but his brain is taking it's time to rewreite itself.
with all the x-rays and scans at the time, they also discovered a hole in his heart.
and the tumor near his hypothalamus, close to his right optic nerve.
You haven’t had your troubles to seek.
Yes. My friend has the same issue. They can plug it
he's been to hell and back, and took me with him.
oh, geez. Sorry to hear all of that
they have ruru.
Oh good
wow, sounds like he's had a rough go of it. my mom had a stroke in Jan or Feb so I understand the brain thing.
at the time i was on here, and asked for someone to talk to about it. i'm afraid no-one responded so i felt pretty deserted.
oh no! I must've been sleeping
Oh, rose. I’m so sorry.
so sorry we slacked when needed!
when i came in, the last message had been about ten minutes earlier.
you're all here now. and i did have sprite via whatsapp.
does your son have children? I see a handsome fellow in your FB pics, would that be him?
I have to sleep. It is 2pm here. Hugs gr
anyway, i am going into hospital for my regular Rx tomorrow. rbud, that is Simon, middle son.
2am here. where in the world are you, ruru?
NYC hokie
Ah! I see. best results for the hospital checkup. ((((more hugs))))
but I need to sleep too so I can drive up to my mom's tomorrow. best wishes for your son's recovery, rose.
for some reason about 6 weeks prior, i was compelled to sign over the family home to him. he and his wife have been living in it since their marriage.
hugs ruru, carla. hope you both sleep well.
it was like a greater being than i was aware of what was about to happen. at least they don't have any issues with home loans etc.
That's a good thing in the midst of the difficult, indeed
That’s so good of you, rose. It must be such a relief to them.
so..... how is everyone else doing?
speaking of signing over homes, I've been trying to manage to transfer this house to our son, as I'm not in the best of health. So far I think it's going okay, I've filed paperwork so that it transfers to him upon my demise. He seemed pretty unexcited about the responsibility until I pointed out how hard it is to actually own/buy a home these days.
Probably better than I deserve, rose! Thank you for asking!
good for you rbud. and Sue, of course you deserve to be doing okay.
so now he's all excited about "going off grid" and installing solar, stuff like that - I told him he could do that ANY TIME and save me all the monthly bills I've had a hard time keeping up with! :P
I ought to get out of bed, but it’s so good to hear from you, rose!
i wish you luck with that rbud. i hope he does do it for you.
thanks. he lives here, too, it's the least he could do, haha.
thanks Sue. i'll pop in every now and again. try to catch up with you all.
yes, very good to hear from you. it
it's so quiet in here most nights.
it is 8am here and i have fireworks - will keep you and your family in my prayers rose - and happy mothers day to all
yes i noticed. maybe i'll give sprite a poke and get her to come in.
oh thank-you ursh.
oh, oh, before you all disappear. my eldest son, who only recently let me back into his life after 20 years, today told me he loved me. was the best Mother's day gift i have ever received.
oh my gosh, that's wonderful!!
apparently my ex's mother has spent 20 years filling his ears with utter lies. thank heavens she has died, otherwise i would have to commit murder.
sounds like someone who might have richly deserved it! why do some people get so much joy from putting down others, I often wonder.
i don't understand it either rbud.
time for me to go. need to pack my bags ready for tomorrow. ttfn.

nice to see the ainu people here today.
Hi everyone - Happy Mothers' Day :)
The Ainu are the indigenous people of the lands surrounding the Sea of Okhotsk, including Hokkaido Island, Northeast Honshu Island, Sakhalin Island, the Kuril Islands, the Kamchatka Peninsula, and Khabarovsk Krai, before the arrival of the Yamato Japanese and Russians. These regions are referred to as Ezo in historical Japanese texts.
Obscure, didn't know that. Happy Mother's Day Nan.
