this is crazy - our well has a pitless, I'm sure they've been around as long as there's been deep water pumps....
of course I now see it isn't even the grid. But it did tell me not in the dictionary.
Proper noun?
Some names are, some are not
I suppose it's possible, though poking around online it's not capitalized
The adapter is named after John Pitless
hello all
Hi aslindy. How are you doing?
doing ok, how are you?
I am doing well.
Article in today's NY Times about Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever

Hi all. Anyone have clues and stats for the 9s or ten? I am not getting them from just stats below.
Ty
nbt and 100 left.
I have no 9. but the 10 is se. it's a plural and kind of an adjective.
no 9 meaning I don't have any 9s
89 for later. bye!
Ty all.
Any meaning to the ten harry?
se10 extends from the se6/18
Ty. I have se 6 18 and i hope i can find the ten
I have more than one se 6 18.
Guess you'll have to pick one
Oh my there are three se 6 18s.
Hello babble pals!
try the second se6/18
there are 7 se6/18's
Aaahhh, attack of the giant cookies!!

Lone N is the loch monster
lone n is the monster

Picking up again! I have had to back off a little bit...got bigger than I could handle. Now easing back into a good volume.

The lone E ends what you clean out of the dryer screen
ty Molly

Now for the ten. I already dont remember the clues or stat. Ugh.
se10/70
Ty. Any clues are helpful. Must have a meaning. There are three se 6 words and could be from any of them.
thank you ruru
yw amelu
Does the se 10 use an ending? Or is it two words? Or does it have the monster ending? Just not seeing it. Ty.
Oh gee guess it cant use the monster ending or other ending requiring two s’s. Hm. Sorry.
I just read an article that says pate and ri9 are two different things. Similar, but not the same.
it's kind of a country rough pate actually but very much alike Pate is smoother
we just had some in Kelowna and it was delicious
Of course you did. I am sure the dining was high end on that trip.
Really need help with the ending for the ten. Please. Ty.
Especially the chicken dish I made :D
I admire you for that. I would be too intimidated to cook with Ru around.
Got the ten. Ty.
We did have some terrific meals out, also.
we also could not find a working coffee pot in the house!
morning all
No working coffee pot?? That is a catastrophe.
I have to wonder what rental owners think sometimes.
she had this funky keurig machine that made water with a few coffee grounds in it
yeah, I learned to always make the smallest size cup on a Keurig to get anything resembling coffee, which meant two-three capsules every cup. so wasteful.
I'm not impressed with the smaller keurig machines.. the bigger ones work better
agreed with about the larger ones working better.
though Nespresso I think is better.
Actually Molly.. .I'm not all that great a chef. I am a pretty good cook though. I did make a really nice meal for us that was appreciated by everyone... Origami's was tasty too (although it comes with a really funny story)
I am so unimpressed with Keurig machines. Not for serious coffee drinkers.
i agree.. but we were really desperate until Ori found the small coffee maker in a cabinet in the Laundry room
Basic stocking of a rental kitchen should include a teapot and a coffee maker along with all the other essentials.
we had to buy a bunch of stuff at the store.. I think the owner spaced out on stocking stuff
like coffee, even!
Well, I have never had a vacation rental that provided food or beverages, just dishes, silverware, cookware, etc.
by the way two of our dinners were very casual and reasonable. (Tacos and margaritas on one meal) and then the other two were pricier but with the exchange rate not too bad
honestly I did not expect them at all except the owner said those essentials would be there
Someone needs to have a liar, liar pants on fire chat with the owner.
no pepper, no extra paper towels, no dishwashing soap, no extra TP, were the main problems
no bath soaps either due to Millennials complaining about soap in the house (preferring body wash dispensers)
It's really funny how expectations are so different. In the UK we wouldn't consider a coffee maker essential in a holiday home. A teapot maybe, but not a coffee maker. Also we wouldn't expect soap etc to be left in bathrooms. We'd expect to bring our own.
I have never expected any of the things Ru mentioned. Those are all "bring them yourself" stuff. A coffee pot is standard however.
if you're focused on bringing Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville crocs, you can't be bothered with Soap I guess
our house in qualicum the previous year had shower stuff (small containers like a hotel) and small high quality soaps.. it was nice. I will bring my own from here on out.
Back in the day when I actually could afford vacations, our MO was get to the vacation rental, unpack the car, take stock of what is in the house, go to the store. First stop, liquor store 😊
pretty well the same Molly!
that's exactly what we did.. although we hit the liquor store first :D
<--- has his priorities in order
Did I, or did I not say "first stop liquor store"?
You did; we did
There is no point in grocery shopping sober 😊
ha ha!
we hit the liquor store before going to the house to unpack.. being the professional imbibers that we are
oh geez Elon Musk has just killed the blue bird and put in an X instead
old news now I see, sorry
The headline was "Bye Bye Birdie"
Meta and X, hilarious
I guess the X is better than the Amazon penis
amazon penis?
You have never noticed that the Amazon logo looks like a penis?
um no.. it looks like an arrow
Well you are one of the few. There are a lot of articles about Amazon's phallic logo.
oh... I know Jeff Bezos shafted the competition..
someone got the shaft
I rarely use Amazon, preferring to buy from Stores (Very old-fashioned in that way)
snap Paul
it was brought to my attention a couple of weeks ago that the arrow in the amazon logo goes from a to z, because they carry everything from a to z.
I am just the opposite. I can't stand shopping and Amazon and Instacart are my best friends.
I am the same. esp since we moved. it's 20 min in any direction to a store, and some of them are 30-45 min drive.
back for 46 words...
49 here

krakatoa eruption?
yep
:)
I learned that krakatoa was a typo, it was really krakatao or tau (I forgot what they said)
oh
but the typo happened pretty early on, so they said you can call it either thing
I am done.
is that left E an EN?
congrats
I lost patience
well, I kinda have but have 76 left, so I don't have enough patience to list
ENs are from the top
but what's the left E?
lefts are ER and EE and ES
or when you say left, do you actually mean right?
wow. how could I miss EE
no, I meant left, but I have the bottom one gray so forgot it was there
and should I know the ze7/8?
any other help I can lend?
it's a mineral. that is all.
or maybe it's not. but it sounds like one
ok, will work on that. other tile I need help with is the H. only have 3.
7/7/8/7 all begin with waistbone 3 letter word
how could I miss the one 7 since I am blessed with it :P
thanks
bye!
bye
HOET finally (though I did look up the z's because I just could look a different direction)
Two of the z words are unknown to most
sill 22 words remaining
found a 9 finally

the 9 feels like a roast of me
ah, found the 10 finally
2-3-7-5-3-1
