60 left after first pass. no HOET due to both R's and bottom E.
189 left...ZOET
hmm, good thing you said 189 left, that could be interpreted as meaning you have zero left on each tile
true
AOET?
yep, but surely it's no longer true. you probably have less than 60 left by now.
yep 51 to go now
P's again...
yep, barely got half and moved on
on the middle. just have one of the upper P left
nm twas an easy 4

no, a B
i got those too.
still 10 p's left but I have the scary ones and am clutching my pearls
what's the stats of the big p's?
a 7/8 set I assume
do you have the p7/8?
no
Don't let those p's trigger you, Ru
not me.. I'm on best behavior..
*Puts on some Tom Jones
ha
ha ha ha Molly
so, back to the p7/8...
carla pe + some times vowel + three of woody plant plus cons.
tough to clue
Combine manning with a bird
It is an obsolete word meaning part of a horse's breatplate
Combine Manning with the Chicago transit
phantom repulse
And stick a consonant in the middle
Repulse is a good word
went outside because I saw mr. homie running and a bee chasing him
probably a wasp. did he get stung
he stepped on a nest and got stung like 3 times, then went back to try to kill them and got stung again. and he had already gotten stung on his bike ride this morning
he said yellow jacket
yes, they are assholes.
oh bummer, keep an eye on him
yep
aren't they bothering him?
we don't seem to have any benedryl. not sure if zyrtec or the other allergy med we have will do anything. they both say hay fever and respiratory allergies.
they are puffy but he says they aren't
my doctor says a claritin and a benedryl. absent hives or breathing difficulty, that is.
I keep those on hand.
and carry them to festivals/
i also use that for miscellaneous bites. i tend to react strongly to all.
the other one is a generic. I don't think it's claritin but I will google.
yes, i use generic. loratidine i think
that pe6/7 is probably alternate of the sea bird.
yeah, I think that's claritin
we have levocitirizine, which is apparently the generic for xyzal. and whatever the generic for xyrtec is.I talked him into taking the xyzal one.
i don't know anyone else who used zyzal. i was thinking of trying it. but i have the kind of allergies that come at the drop of a hat. like on the train riding home yesterday
I tried the brand name when it first came out but it didn't do a lot for me
didb;t know there was a generic. thanks, i will try it if fall season gets bad
I'm having runny nose right now. I have non-allergic rhinitis so it seems like I have allergies year-round, and the pills don't do a lot. but the sprays help some, like flonase.
I usually stick to generic OTC because they are usually clearly marked gluten free, whereas the brand names are all secretive.
flonase stopped for me. but i use it to keep sinuses open with the others. and if i get a cold/virus same reason.
and I combined all the clues below and got the pe7/8, thanks.
dr. says it keeps swelling and blockage to a minimum.
do people here actually know that word?
which?
pe7/8
doubt it. but i know the 6/7
I don't think people here know a lot of the words they clue.
i love it when the word is new to me. i love having to look them up.
I'm just wondering if the flippers got it. But bea gets stuff like that. Did she get it on her own?
I do not have a pe6/7
that is a sea bird
my friend in baltimore named his yacht that
My favorite part of the flip is when people call out stats after the clues go up. Hey, I can do that. 😊
I just assume/hope they've actually found it and not clicked the list. Sometimes I have done that, but I do hesitate, thinking people will think, yeah, sure.
time to go do some indoor work. i have had it with yard work. later
The flip was a lot better when the ageement was no cluing in the first hour
NBT/NBS!
What happened to the chat? Wow no one is on?????
Petier
Ooops
Sorry
Would use a clue please for the E word bottom row. Ty.
en5/12. like to follow. "and then chaos en5/12d". and I am in and out, working on other stuff.
en5 to happen after something else
Ty
Ty all
Got it. Super clues.
Would love to get the pe words the 6/7 combo but just not seeing it. Any help welcome
it's a bird! it's a plane! no, i was right the first time, it's a bird!
Ty but still dont know it. All i know is pe is the first two letters. Sorry
I have pu six a chicken. But cant find the pe.
less domesticated, more marine
yeah, I don't know that one either
and can't think of a chicken
but found an et6 I usually miss
A kind of chicken is a pu 6. Rhymes with the bu six that you shoot out of a gun.
thanks
The pe6/7 sounds like the British word for gas
Great clue gillie. Got it. Ty.
went to list and had just found that. where were you earlier, gillie? 😜
mkg, do you have the 7/8?
if not, add the sometimes vowel in the pe6/7
There were a lot of easy clues for pe7/8 earlier
anyone have the pe6/24? just tried looking it up and can't find.
yes, its the start of the word meaning next to last
yeah, but I didn't know if she saw those and since it's almost the exact word as the 6 (and somehow I missed that), I thought I would drop one.
ah, thanks, nellie.
Again, how do people know these words?
well, that one I've seen before
i can't speak for everyone, but i know words because i've read a lot of books.
phantom: replete
okay, last word I can't find. su6/27
phantom supplier
nm, looked it up
Am curious about su6 27... wasn't watching chat
ohhh
from "Throw Momma from the Train" The night was... su6/27
I've read a lot of books too, but I don't remember all the weird words that may have been in them
Not sure if you are referring to my comment, but I mean the movie with Billy Crystal and Danny DeVito. One of the most memorable moments of the movie was when they were trying to come up with a word to end that sentence, and Momma woke up and said "The night was SU6!" That was when BIlly Crystal agreed to kill her.
Thanks, nrkii :)
huge thunderstorm where I am.
Not referring to your comment. I am very familiar with "Throw Mama From The Train"
Owen!!! Get me a coke!!
Down to 8 here... I don't think these last 8 will be any fun though
:) :) I should watch that movie with my brother while he's visiting
It's been too long
never seen it {ducks}
It's not too late, carla
And it is very very funny
I quoted karate kid this morning at tennis but everyone's like 20 years older than me so no one ever gets my quotes or songs I sing
I am more than 20 years older than you and I would get a Karate Kid reference
I pulled up the original KK for my grands the other night while I was grand sitting (they aren't babies anymore, they say) Their parents weren't even born yet when it was released!
Grand sitting?
yep.....they don't like the word babysitting any more
yeah, my tennis partner was 17 years older and I thought he should've known it anyway
I've never gotten the whole "sitting" thing
clue for the lone e on the bottom row?
follow in time, as a consequence
I was once informed by the parents of a child that I was going to watch that I could sit on him if he wouldn't stay in bed
thx gillie
yw
I assume Sophie's grandkids object to "baby" rather than "sitting"
That was made clear earlier. I was wondering about the sitting part.
I think it's just short for "sitting with the baby"
There's a pe7/8 pair that I don't remember seeing before. Looks like a different spelling of the pe6/7 pair, but it actually refers to a breastplate on a horse.
fw - going now, unless anyone wants clues
going...
going...
gone!
help with un5 please
nm
It's the one minute Peri thing
dun da dun dun done! laters, all! ♥
phantom: trellis
