Hi Owl
i sent you an email last night.
I saw it. Thanks.
you're welcome. i thought it might interest you
Yes. I made something similar to the first one.
are you working on your creations for next market season?
The farmers' market closed 2 years ago so I make projects as gifts or upon request. I need to set up on Instagram or Etsy.
I am focused on some home renovations now. Well, paying Mr Handyman.
lucky to have one. i am looking for someone new.
how are the bunnies taking the disruption?
I have to keep their gate up. Fiona likes to exit the room and explore. Also, it has been noisy--flooring, etc.
ah, i suppose flooring is a major disruption. i need the entire house done.
enjoy your day.
Could I please have a def for ra7?
I don't have that word. I will look.
... unusual word ... meaning the state of being loud and noisy ... ... the adjective form of the word is usually used to describe "laughter"
... monkeyed it
that's where rowdy comes from
ra7/44
actually I lied
but it sounds like it :)
That will give me a good start. ty
got it
... well done ... phew ...

missing 5 from that
4 vs 31

I made it up to 18 and moved on
too early to speak hokie for me this morning
There are a lot of big S's around here 😊
well, I'm 3 hours ahead and it's too early for me

hi Josh.. great to see you here again.
hi ruru, I definitely recognize yours and other usernames here :)

phantom: tuesday
uh-oh, do we have sy words?
vnope
phew
need 8 more S words and was afraid
... a sound state to be in
... three quarters was relatively not difficult ... but the rest ... I could live without
is that a clue or just a comment?
... comment
well i found 2 more
... I'm probably missing the same 8 s words but I've listed
and another 2 more!
down to 4
phantom: satisfy
five
phantom: astute
phantom: artifice
okay ... esses done ... but sixteen others still to get ... maybe later ... luck to all
as 6/21, pls
... to give confidence ... to remind someone that they're doing something well or correctly
ty dose
hmmm, bottom F seems hard
... a couple of what I'll refer to as french for "fire" babblets
... a 5/6 which I usually think of as using an s but here they don't
.. sorry ... there should be an "and" at the start of the previous comment
any guesses on my last top F?
not fatify, which is what desserts do to me
... fa5/22 ... a "fairy" word I'll guess ... sounds like something the little old ladies in the Gary Cooper version of "Mr Deeds Goes to Town" might have used
hmm, will look, thanks. not sure I've ever seen any gary cooper movies.
.. oh I tried all those fatty words too ... twice ... but none of them are there
... 1936 Mr. Deeds Goes to Town ... with Jean Arthur ... directed by Frank Capra ... ... It's where I learned the word
... learned the word "pixilated" ... which contributed to my thinking of the fa5 as a "fairy" word ...
well I am still looking ðŸ˜
... in the past
good morning - don't have an fa 5
... I have no idea what it means ... but I'd guess the meaning is something like "to have been turned into a fairy or at least fairylike" ...
mmm - thought that would have been spelled fe*** if it means pixilated
ah, a past tense, thx
... oh I'm sure that no one has used the word since 1936 ... I've never used it or heard it used
it used to describe someone who was somewhat whimsical or flighty
well the present tense is here too
... much like the little old ladies in Mr Deeds ...
... must be off ... sorry if I've confused everyone
lol, no. bye
it was also a term for someone under the effects of alcohol. Can't yoo just see it? "I'm sorry officer, but I am pixilated right now"!
back and on the march to fireworks!
I like you're can do attitude. still 55 left here and found one word on my lunch break, so back to work.
carla I see you are from SC. I am from Charlotte originally but live in Toronto
I just moved from Charlotte last year after 27 years there
and no idea why I used you're for your
terrible
I'm headed back there on Monday for the holidays with my family
I was mostly always north, near concord mills
well if we're being specific, my family is in Belmont/Mt Holly
now I am between Asheville and Greenville, only a 2 hr drive from CLT
I have a good friend in Taylors and I frequented the Shriners Hospital in Greenville throughout my childhood
well, I spent a lot of time at the whitewater center not too far from there
after all these years it's so nice that lickety is still doing the clues thing
yep, I remember the old days before he made that site. someone would post a list and then I'd use Excel.
BrandyJack was posting a list when I started playing
There was no list in 2005? I thought Lickety had started it by then.
no - it was after 2008
Can someone tell me when I became a member here? I can see on others' profiles, but not on mine.
Your profile says 2008, up at the top right.
Dec. 5 2008
April 7 2008 here
thanks!
definitely played for a few years pre-lickety
thought I had started playing in 2008, but it was 2005, so maybe lickety was running his list in 2008
well he has a web counter on there that says since april 18, 2006 so maybe wasn't as many years as I remember
maybe he just had the list and not the ability to input so that's why I used excel
the bulk add was added in april 2007
You should be able to see your own start date in your profile. I can see mine.
are you talking to me? I can.
I thought we were pondering when lickety started the list
Lickety came on board shortly after I started playing, so I would think 2006 was the start date.
off for breakfast - 54 left for later in the day
It always makes me go "huh?" when Nan goes for breakfast at 2:15 in the afternoon. I know there is a time difference, but isn't it 11:15 in British Columbia?
