hope mine keeps going for awhile -- has a cd/dvd drive and 2 flash drive ports as well as a port to connect the tv and one for a printer - also runs win 10, which I prefer over Win 11
well this one has a lot of ports, but do CD drive....i have a portable one that I can hook up if I need it...and printing is bluetooth here....
have wireless also , but doesn't always work
I'm afraid if I go to a new laptop, I will also have to buy a new printer -- mine is ancient in computer speak

mr. homie's oldest brother died a couple of weeks ago. I think he was 60. he has a daughter a little younger than my youngest. and he didn't seem to do any estate planning, so one of the sisters was trying to get everything sorted.

I always watch to see if it's green or red on the bar under the box. sometimes they show up out of order there. also I always have a lag on the chat here. no lag on other websites, and it's been this way for as long as I've been playing, no matter where I lived with different ISPs.

well, neither therapy nor medication will get rid of managerial nonsense, but medication makes it easier to focus the stress and rage.

in my case, the lack of energy has literally been lifelong. i didn't really run around and play like other kids. i've done lots of helpful talk therapy, and it's just not related. it took me a long time to even think about my constant lack of energy as something that was really not normal and ask if there might be something that could be done about it. i decided it was worth broaching the issue with my doctor, because i've so dreaded the idea of returning to full-time work, as 40 hours a week has left me feeling completely spent in the past. i wanted to feel like i could handle a life that is considered "normal".
did they get a diagnosis, hursh? or empiric treatment?
there's no diagnosis, no. hormone stuff is all "within normal range".
but i don't like being so far at the low end of the range
40 hours a week leaves me spent on a regular basis. And yet, the mortgage payment is still due.
well if you are content to live your life as you are living it, then i'm happy for you.

40 hours a week is so much harder now ... but I also have an autoimmune disease that carries heavy fatigue with it.
i take a multivit with both of those, and methylated B because the one abnormal thing they did find was a genetic variation that means i don't absorb B vits unless they are methylated

I feel for people with fatigue, and I know a few. Hugs to all of you. We never know what another is coping with, all we can do is listen and wish each other the best--unless a specific need is voicesd and we can meet it.
