and I went to bed early last night, but then my uncle & cousin called to tell me my aunt died. then I talked to my brothers for a while, then I couldn't go to sleep so it was after 1am.

thanks, she wasn't in the best of health but it was unexpected. she would go visit my mom at the nursing home and couldn't walk all the way back so would have someone push her in a wheelchair back there. last time I went she was in the room sitting in a wheelchair, so when she was ready to leave I wheeled her out to her car, which she got into and drove home herself!

she would've been 80 in Dec

not sure how to play this...... my Mom was an avid Babbler, and had many friends who also played. I am not as clever as Mom was, but certainly enjoy word games.... looking, in particular, for "helen keller", who left a lovely message on Mom's obituary..... nearly 12 years ago!!!

you click on Rankings over the chat box and just look....i scrolled down the first column until I found her name...tedious process but effective... ;o)... if you click on her name, you can see her profile (what she wrote about herself)...
Hetty, just make words 4 letters or more and you will then see how it is played. But this is a bad grid to start on since there are very few words. Sometimes there are hundreds of words. I suggest that you wait for tomorrow and hopefully there will be words that are common and simple.
Oh sorry now i see you are hettys daughter not hetty. Apologies.
