I hear ya! We emptied out our sea container where we had our stuff stored. For the first time in my life, I have asked for help and did not lift a single box. Also forbid my beloved to do any lifting, the kids did all the lifting and our son did all the organising. Amazing.

1:34 am

i’m going to take a shower and launder my clathes in a few. Then sleep.

roflol

2:40 am

did you like my Midwinter drawing?

2:41 am

loved it sweetie. almost magical.

2:42 am

yay :) Zentangle is a magical method. You do not plan, you just go with the flow and something wonderful just happens

2:43 am

the release of restraint allows the creativity to flow. i can see that.

2:43 am

*happy sigh*

2:44 am

hi

7:04 am

hello kiani

7:15 am

how are you?

7:16 am

meh. didn't sleep well.

7:16 am

me either. Ended up on the couch bc Hastur was snoring so loud

7:17 am

not looking forward to the weekend.

7:17 am

no?

7:17 am

I am! only two more days of work for me this year!

7:17 am

at the cabin

7:18 am

ah, the good old extended-family-in-confined-space time

7:19 am

at least we don't have to sleep there, another family is letting us use their cabin just 4 miles away

7:20 am

oh that's nice tho

7:21 am

plus there's a snowstorm coming today, we won't get much but north of us will likely get a good amount

7:22 am

yep we are due a chunk as well

7:22 am

only 1-3 inches here

7:22 am

but I have to go out first thing in the morning for labs

7:22 am

I asked my cat Blizz if he was to blame. He didn't respond, other than to happy-drool

7:23 am

yes, blame the cat

7:23 am

I am looking forward to new furniture today though!

7:24 am

yay!

7:24 am

something comfy to sit on, hooray

7:27 am

I use weather underground to get my forecast. the people behind us have a weather station called Bunhouse.

7:28 am

maybe they have rabbits.

7:28 am

Good morning, Babblers. :)

7:29 am

hi cross

7:29 am

lol

7:31 am

it's snowing here already but not hard. and good morning cross

7:33 am

Snowing here as well. Is only 2cm/hour, but it is lake effect stuff and is supposed to go all day.

7:36 am

I am losing my enthusiasm for this game today

7:37 am

Some hints for the N in fourth column, please.

7:37 am

I don't have those either

7:38 am

you're not required to play, or all at once, you know :P

7:38 am

what? are you sure?

7:38 am

well otherwise I've been doing it wrong this whole time

7:38 am

I suspect the no8 comes from that n but don't know for sure

7:41 am

The no 8 does come from that N and it is a dumb word

7:42 am

aha, got 2 of them

7:42 am

Well, I will just save it for my last word then. :)

7:43 am

molly, is the dumb one plural?

7:45 am

it is not plural

7:51 am

just started snowing here

7:53 am

ne7/28 from the fourth column N

7:54 am

7:56 am

At least those are words people are familiar with.

7:57 am

what are the stats for the no8?

8:02 am

no8/55

8:02 am

ty

8:28 am

that finishes that n.. thanks molly

8:33 am

good morning everyone

9:11 am

Good morning

9:12 am

yay there is life here

9:13 am

I am sort of here, keeping my dogs contained while we have furniture delivered.

9:13 am

And I'm not abolishing A's and terminating T's

9:13 am

According to Merriam-Webster, the no8 is an adjective, meaning either not included in or subject to the (last part of the word), or (2nd definition) exceeding it.

9:16 am

Anyway, ty Molly for the clue

9:16 am

i'm doing well on each tile except for the p

9:17 am

The P is troublesome, but I've managed to get all but 5 without using the list

9:22 am

I think it should take the superlative of or6/18 (3rd one?)

is the no8 a not word? and is it from the 4th col N? I can't find any of those.

9:37 am

Two of them you have heard of. The no8 is a whack job

9:38 am

Like, literally a whack job or the word is whacky?

9:41 am

Ah...Contains the double letter tile.

thanks bea

still need another N there for HOET

11:25 am

I need that too please.

11:26 am

Negative prefix plus qu 5/16

11:28 am

Ty, Soodles. :)

11:29 am

Waiting to be chastised for giving away too much. 😉

11:30 am

Well, I asked. If someone is that hard about clues in the chat it can be hidden until they are ready.

11:33 am

Very true, Crossy!

11:33 am

:)

11:36 am

Snowy and blowy here today, Soodles. Wish we were in Ireland with you.

11:37 am

We should have about a foot of fresh snow today by the time it is all done,

11:38 am

We were going to visit, but our Labrador got hurt, and now the vet has all our vacation money! :(

11:42 am

how's the pup doing now, crossy?

11:43 am

Had two teeth removed. Had to go under second time because stitches did not hold, and need to go in for torn ligament.

11:44 am

ouch! both for the lab and for the wallet!

11:44 am

Each surgery for the teeth was $2200.00 and the ligament surgery will be $5800.00

11:45 am

Plus everal hundred dollars for assorted med.

11:45 am

Several*

11:46 am

An sure we will hit $10K before he is all fixed up

11:46 am

good lord! last time I checked, a tooth out was about $100, but that was probably 25 years ago. Sounds vastly unfair for you, wonder if human teeth cost less!

11:46 am

crossy...the worst part of that will be keeping the pup calm after the surgery. I'm sorry to hear it!

11:46 am

He is on calming meds as we speak

11:47 am

He'd have to be! Poor thing.

11:47 am

He is a member of the family--he deserves no less. Vacations can wait.

11:49 am

I can attest - getting a human tooth removed costs considerably less

11:49 am

One tooth was broken, and the other had an abscess.

11:50 am

My tooth was broken, and required considerable effort to remove in a few pieces

11:51 am

(I've had full dentures for well over a decade, so wasn't sure about human teeth costs, haha.)

11:51 am

Yes, but unlike you, or I, they had to knock out boy out.

11:51 am

ouch, Gillie! *cringe*

11:51 am

Our boy*

11:52 am

Hi all! Sorry to read about your pup Crossy.

11:52 am

Damn typos.

11:52 am

We are fixing him up, mymuse.

11:53 am

He is six years old and our baby now that we are empty nesters.

11:53 am

fyi, I had an impacted wisdom tooth that had to be removed 2 years ago and needed oral surgeon cause of my implant before it. $6K and got covid on top of it.

11:54 am

Ouch!

11:54 am

They called in a surgeon for Sebastian's operation.

11:55 am

I hope Sebastian feels better very soon.

11:55 am

We're the same crossy...empty nesters that talk to our dogs like they're people all day. Family is family!

11:56 am

I believe my brother had both wisdom teeth removed for less than a third of that, but no implants to worry about

11:56 am

Not to change the subject, but I can't imagine finding 20 more P's!!!

11:57 am

He is stoned to the eyeball at the mall memt, and resting comfortably.

11:57 am

I still need 25 of them, Champ.

12:05 pm

Yes, if I see the extension.

12:06 pm

I'm trying to get back on here more often. I'm really out of practice.

12:07 pm

12:07 pm

As am I.

12:08 pm

I watch those at the flip tear through it in an hour and marvel at it.

12:09 pm

They're amazing.

12:09 pm

Oooh will have to tune in.

The ultimate in fast food! Pre-chewed, pre-digested, just drop the eco-friendly container into your toilet and flush! Fast Food Fantastics, available at your favorite grocer!"

6:08 pm

6:35 pm

Just got the 9-10

6:50 pm

no matter what, not one person in the chat has clued me anything for the pe 9 or 10. do i sound annoyed?????

8:43 pm

mkg - pe 9 & 10 refer to plants that live for many seasons. The ending is more often 'ial', but not in this case.
