Yeah. I zipped along and then it become... molasses (and hi, sprite!)
hiya freep :)

*hugs* grannyrose!
* soothes poor rebels head * there, there honey. let me kiss it better
good kisses, those are, rose's kisses
how's the family today sprite? and more importantly how's you?
thank you. yeah, sprite, how are YOU doing?
I am with Elton John. Still standing. Rob was slightly better yesterday, could stand on the fo4 and cooked dinner. Caya was no longer hogging the toilet, so some improvement there too.
my poor love. sending you positive vibes, and lots of prayers for strength.
thanks darling :) I already walked and fed the doggies, so I can relax until no4.
Lewi will stay with us until tomorrow. Caya hopes to be able to go to work then. My girl is one tough cookie and such a hard worker.
so, that is me. How are you lovely people doing today?
i'm back into pain management mode. muscles are screaming at me. trying to relax, and ignore them. despite the magnesium, plus taking break-through magnesium, hands are seizing up.
that is not good. When is the next infusion?
*gentle hugs & loves for grannyrose*
rebel, any word of your daughter?
and how is Don behaving?
hmmm let me just check the calendar.
yes, everything is still wait & see. Cierra's still going to work like nothing's wrong, but still being cautious.
she is in my prayers, rebel. As are you.
10th March. pain doc is on annual leave until then. ( maybe long service leave??)
that is nasty. I really think your infusions have to be closer
closer together, that is
Don is still driving me crazy. i came so close to smacking him today. his cough IS better, but he denies it. i think he's forgotten how revolting it was before.
okay, how about telling him: "If it is still as bad, I think it will not get better ever, darling. You will have to learn to live with it. Now go play, I am putting on my headphone.":D
roflol... give no quarter, you mean?
absolutely :D
precisely
you two are so wicked... maybe i'll sit here going lalalalalala next time.
with fingers in ears of course
*giggles* A little bit of wickedness makes for lighter bearing
or start singing your favorite song at the top of your lungs when he starts coughing again.
ooooo found a sherlock holmes word!
my dog's name is sherlock
what a cool name
* biting lips * first thing that popped into my head... naughty Rose, very naughty
sings: Keeping on coughing and you can't come in...
keep*
lmao
I had a Jonah, and a Julia. both the most gorgeous of fur babies i ever saw. also back in the day, we had a goat named Mary. ( middle son was going to a Catholic school at the time. said he named the goat after the Blessed Virgin ) i nearly dies lauging at that one
lolol
we have a Nero (yes, black), and a Lewi (yes, too dumb to spell Louis but sweet as can be). And I used to have a cat named Garbage. (Vullis in dutch). He was nothing but a tiny bit of garbage when we got him, grew into a beautiful Abessian.
sounds pretty
we also had a cat named Pancho. And when Rob took him to the vet to get spayed, the vet told him he had to be renamed Pancha and to come back in a few weeks to have her sterilized.
* giggle *
as a child, i had a cat named Ragsy, short for Ragamuffin. She had one torn ear which sat at an odd angle. it gave her a raffish look.
awww sweet :)
awwwwww!
fireflies. Indeed a tight little grid. Nice challenge. Any clues needed before I poof?
* hugs * darling.
WTG SPRITE !!
okay then, poofing with *hugs* :) Y'all have a blessed day and a peaceful night.
I think I'm going to sign off for now, as well. *hugs* to grannyrose & sprite! *poof*
wishing you sweet dreams rebel.
I guess it's a nice challenge if you enjoy trying to find words you've never heard of before.
those must be my last four words then
they weren't... all words we've had before
<---claims phantom Ottoman before hokie does
I will stand here in my wrongness and be wrong
Did you look that up on Google, fact checker?
Does anyone have a clue for the 8? Thanks.
granny, have you added electrolyte tablets? I have to or I get cramps. I pray it helps
fo8...at the end of your leg and a male
oops...that's the fo7...same start and a letter
sorry, too early to be coherent
I got the fo 7 but not seeing where to add the letter for the 8. I assume first four are the same.
you don't add a letter...you add a different word...a short letter to someone
mkg, do you always begin with the longer words? many times they are easier to see after you have the shorter ones.
and ty phae
I already have most of the words. I dont start with longer words but somehow the dont come to me
as in this case, you add two of them together to make the 8 letter word
yw Owl
Ty owl. I will try to find it.
Got it. I thought it ended the same. So ty.
ty for the fo8
we, in FL, are sending prayers of peace in the eye of the storm to LA.
having lost EVERYTHINGS a couple of times in my life, I tell you honestly, it cleaned my heart and allowed me to see what is really important to have in it and my environment.
I find it very curious; words become obvious after coffee
or after someone suggests the stats. howdy folks. down to 9 left, 5 of which are 7s. guess I'm going to have to read the flip chat.
so am i
of course, as soon as I see one of the stats I see the word
not feeling so great this AM. hoping once i get moving all will sort out.
ugh, I hope so too
cup of tea, hopefully will help. not sure if allergy or something else. ugh, need to go out and buy a set of tires today or tomorrow.
okay, only 3 called at the flip, I already had one of those. so still 1-2-1-4 left
hopefully they will pop out if you list.
well, 50% are F and 50% are 7s. if you like stats. ;)
ok, found the other one called
No list, list, list with morewords, or clues. the levels of play.
it was F7
well having worked with them, i like them when they are relevant
in business, often used but not always so
I didn't really like stats class but that was more because the teacher was the meanest lady ever
found another 7 just adding the ending from the f7
i liked it more in grad school, which was in business not science.
when you are working it becomes easier because one has context.
more practical than theoretical
I did take business stats, not the hard core math one
well, just tried a proper noun for my last M and it took
yes. that's one i generally remember. i think i will get moving, see you later
think I will list for last 5 so I can get moving. TTFN
feel better
BTW has anyone seen car lately? or trif?
I saw an instagram post by car before xmas
let me go look...
I do remember trif coming in at one point too, probably also before xmas
well i guess i will try to raise them. see you later
adios
ok, don't remember ever seeing my missing 4 before
We are not brain children who remember every word that has ever been in a grid. Alas.
and no idea on the a7 but was able to monkey my 3 missing f's
I certainly don't feel bad about missing any of these
is the am7 a word I should find?
Nope
already looking it up
well, I skimmed right over it thinking that wasn't there. nothing like an alt sp of a sanskrit word. thanks, enable.
FW
I knew the alternate spelling of the am7, thanks for the hint hokie
from a Banana Yoshimoto novel of all places
Oh, there's a best-selling author
oh dear (seeing the comments about am7)
lol, never heard of banana yoshimoto
and I didn't even know the non alt spelling!
can you clue it?
ends in alt sp of the lovely meter maid
ohhh thanks
yeah i think we have the other spelling here sometimes
done with 6s and 7s, woot!
ok i have FARM left, which one is the 8?
ok checked the flip and found out fo8
oh easy one
got the M!
got the R!
done!
noodling with Spelling Bee i came up with a funny word. if your Captain is bad, you could call him Craptain.
not getting that am7, clue pls?
the meter maid has the same name as an animagus journalist in Harry Potter
got that meter maid alt sp but can't seem to get the am combo for it
then i don't think you have the right alt sp
it has a double vowel
that did it, thx hurshy
wow.. obscure Harry Potter clues
Ty for am7 clue. The lovely meter maid saves the day. :)
Could someone reclue the am 7 word, pls
read below bichon.. it's clued several times
Good afternoon, friends. Was hoping for a bigger grid to play while watching football games today.
morning all
Hey, jes
Back later for the last 4, when I can think better :)
bichon - if you're watching, the am7 ends in a different spelling of a woman's name. You should be able to find the original spelling of the name by googling "lovely meter maid" - it's in the title of a Beatle's song.
Also, an author named Banana Yoshimoto wrote a book using the more common spelling of am7 as the title, so if you google her, you should find it in the list of her books
Namaste
am 7/32, pls
Bichon, do you read over the chat for clues?
Yes, I do, but I cannot figure this clue
Wait, you're not fluent in Sanskrit, bichon??
Heh....having said that, I just now typed a wild guess and got it. :)
See if this clue helps....a possible response if someone says, "Hey, you're that meter maid Paul McCartney sang about in '67, right? What's your name again?"
No, I'm not {{{
But what if you *were*?
The meter maid thing was already used as a clue. Obviously she isn't getting it.
am7 ends like the Velv____ processed cheese
ty Molly

Summerbreeze44, If you click on Lickety's Babble Clues under the Friends of Babble heading (lower left corner) on the home page your computer will open a new page with the clues. I use both Safari and Firefox. I also use an apple product so I have never benefited from the special effects that Lickety designed for the PC
That worked joansiebone! TY so much.
good morning all
finally spotted the obvious f8/55
